Stopped in for lunch with my two kids, 8 and 18. My daughter and I each ordered an individual pizza, and my son ordered a calzone. We were very happy with our order. The crust was yummy - even my daughter, who usually leaves the crust was dipping it into my sons sauce! The server was great, attentive and fun. We sat in a booth where my kids could see a gentleman tossing the pizza dough in the air - which they thought was great. The only thing we weren't thrilled with was the broken tiles in the ceiling, but this is something we will definitely overlook when we return again. read more

I usually order from this restaurant over any chain because i support local businesses and the owner, Dave, and his staff is always so friendly and fast! The pizza is worth the price, you can't get it like this anywhere else. The only issue I have is my waitress about a week ago, she seemed to rush my father and I in and out. Maybe she was ready to leave her shift? It was the only day I could spend time with my father before he had to go back to Ohio for another 6 months, and I was very disappointed.. We were interrupted many times while having a conversation to ask if we were finished or wanted the check before we were even halfway finished with our meal. I seem to think that it is a restaurant, not a fast food joint. I of course will still be coming here, but I will refuse to have Lisa as my waitress! Very rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. They also have meals for the health conscious just ask most are not on the menu. The bread is all fresh baked and makes any meal. Once again the Mahi sandwich(,Homey). Is do good. Went for lunch, nice view of the ocean and friendly staff. As far as the food we got lunch wraps off the lunch menu. Caesar wrap was dry and bland, over did it on the lettuce. For a 6.50 lunch item didn't come with fries or anything else for that matter. Don't know if I would return to try a dinner item. Service was BAD! Our server, a bigger blonde girl, believe her name was Christina. She didn't know much about the menu, and she bad mouthed the kitchen/cooks saying that "No one in the kitchen really knows whats going on." Who bad mouths their own co-workers?! Food was decent, pizza was under cooked we actually sent it back twice and for some reason it was STILL undercooked. Maybe our waitress knew what she was taking about. If your looking for pizza, there's better places beachside. If your looking for Italian dishes, there's better places beachside. If I could give no stars I would. I went today to try out pappagallos, I walked in was not greeted proceeded to the carryout order counter to place an order and was completely ignored. I had 3 servers walk past me multiple times and not even acknowledge me. Just before deciding to leave someone came out of the back and said were about to close (6:30 pm on a Saturday with the door stating 10pm is closing time)did you want to put something in real quick? Customer service was HORRIBLE, and I Will NOT BE BACK. On a second note being so disgusted with the service at pappagallos lead me back to yelp where I found a true gem! So thanks for your lackluster service pappagallos I maybe would have never found Petrillos without it. read more

TERRIBLE PIZZA and even worse management!! The "large" pizza is 13 inches and totally undercooked. I had to cook it 10 more minutes at home to actually eat it. We also ordered an "antipasto" which consisted of old iceberg lettuce, one rolled up piece of ham and cheese cut in small pieces and some mushy tomatoes. They did not even include dressing. When we called to complain they said there was nothing they could do amd hung up. We then called back and asked for a manager who said his name was Tim. He told us he would remake us a larger pizza. Five minutes later he called us back and said he would not do that after all. DO NOT EAT HERE! There are WAY better pizza places around. Yuck! read more

Just received my delivery order and finished eating. What a GREAT meal. It arrived ahead of the stated time and was piping hot!!! When I ordered I was told it might be a 1 hour delivery time or I could pick up in 20 minutes, decided to wait and was not disappointed. Our order came in 35 minutes and the lasagna was DELICIOUS!! Lots of chucks of meat inside and a great sauce with lots of baked cheese. GREAT job guys. I don't usually write reviews but I now realize how important they are. I can't wait to order something different (pizza) from here next time, based on the reviews. We are fans now!!! read more

I'm sorry, but I don't remember asking them to cook pizza half way. I'm staying in a nice hotel for the weekend and there is no oven. We tryed to eat a slice than just put it in trash can and ate chips and snacks we brought with us. I gave them a two because the slice I ate stayed down. read more

Great family run restaurant. Fantastic pizza, stromboli, calazone, and lasagna. Service can be spotty, but it's a small place so you can always catch a server or front counter person to get what you need. The hidden gem about this restaurant is that Dave the owner prepares pre-measured and pre-packaged healthy eating options for a reasonable price (full meal with a protein, carb, and a vegetable). This is extremely efficient and cost-effective for weightlifters, bodybuilders, or anyone looking to get into shape since what you eat is half the battle. The food is fresh, the options are excellent and the portions are perfect. I believe that you can order on Sunday's and Wednesday's and pick up on Tuesday's and Friday's but I am not 100% certain on the schedule. I bring two meals to work with me each day. Since I sit in an office all day these are perfect to pop in the microwave and eat at my desk. Much healthier and cheaper than eating out. Also, since my wife and I have two young children to chase around and drive to soccer practices, having pre-packaged healthy meals saves us quite a bit of time and effort. Well worth the cost. Seriously disappointed! I've heard nothing but good things about this place & so when the opportunity to try it came up I went for it. We ordered the lasagna and the chicken pastagallo. The original delivery time was 1 hr 15 min, so I opted for pickup instead and was quoted 45 min. Arrived at 40 min so I expected a slight wait. However, my order was not ready until 1 hr 20 min from the time it was placed. That means I set there for over 40 min. Wasn't offered even a glass of water, just kept being told 5-10 more minutes, I hope. It was hot for sure! However, the beef in the lasagna was dried out and almost crunchy. The chicken pastagallo had no flavor whatsoever except the cheese. It too was slightly overdone but the pasta itself was good. I hope this experience was the exception to the rule for this place. This was our family's first visit and we were pleased that to find that the restaurant offers so many menu choices. Unfortunately, some of our favorite pasta dishes that our Italian mom and her mother from Italy used to cook are only offered with a meat sauce, with one of the meats being spicy sausage. Two of us ordered dishes with the meat sauce and found it just too spicy for a traditional pasta dish. We would have liked the option of having some dishes made with a marinara sauce without meat, but that wasn't an option. That limited the amount of overall menu choices that we had. The prices are reasonable and our server on a Sunday afternoon was very friendly, helpful, and informative. There are quite a few Italian restaurants in the area so we may not return to this one. read more

I've lived in satellite beach my whole life and I've ordered from pappagallo's for years. In high school a bunch of my friends worked here as well. The food has always been good but I haven't eaten there much as an adult. I took my four year old twins and 12 yo daughter there tonight and my whole family loved it. We had an awesome young server named Josh who was the best. He was super attentive, friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. He catered to my twins and made sure they were happy. He genuinely loved his job and interacted with my family. He even started his motorcycle for my son who loved it! We sat outside at their new outside area and it was gorgeous! I highly recommend it the food, atmosphere, and service. Everything was perfect. The service was so great I forgot to add that the food was awesome and the portions were huge. We got chicken vodka, Stromboli, and my kids got pizza and pizza toast! Thanks Josh for a great dinner- you rock! read more
