This used to be a pretty good barbecue facility owned and operated by Pappas. Today our visit was a catastrophe. Everything was terrible! The coleslaw was so sweet that you couldn't eat it. The meat was full of fat and the potato salad was nothing but mush. I sent the brisket plate back two times and they still didn't get it as ordered. The manager was not much help. In fact I suspect that when I asked for a manager they simply sent out a body. I don't think I'll be back and I would not recommend that anyone come in here until they make some changes. Baked potatoes with brisket are terrible . Small pieces of meat with lots of fat about $18.95. That's outrageous for that. Half chicken with pork ribs was about $17.00. Chicken was not cooked completely Ribs burnt. Three people ate and I paid $35.00 for two potatoes and $17.00 for half chicken and pork ribs. Had 2 sides also. I paid $68 plus 2 drinks. Service always is friendly. I have come to this location many times over the past 6-7 years. I was away for a couple of years. Boy has this place changed!! Potion size seems to have gone down 40% while cost has gone up a couple of bucks on the Chopped Beef Fries. Remember the little old lady in commercials saying "Where's the Beef??" The restaurant was very clean and welcoming, friendly employees! Food was served to perfection! 5/5 taste and presentation. Literally the brisket practically melts in your mouth, it's that tender. The bacon cheeseburger was easily one of the best burgers you can find in the area. Their fries are way too easy to eat, try the loaded fries with brisket.. it'll change your life. I had family stopping by and wanted them to have food BBQ. I called in requesting at least half a pound of white chicken, since two people don't eat other meats, and enough food for 8 people. Person on the phone guided me to make a selection called the value pack 3 and fed 8 to 10 people I selected that one, changed a few sides, and placed the order. Drove 15 minutes to the restaurant and back home only to find out there was no chicken in this order. Felt terrible for not checking the food, and the two guests that did not eat red meat. I called them and let them know what had happened, and that I was on my way, they said it would be ready. When I arrived, they charged me for the chicken and had me wait an additional five minutes. This location seemed to get a decent amount of customers. They do have a drive through if you don't want to walk inside. Ordering inside was cafeteria line style ordering. You grab a tray and order the items you want and tell them how you want them. They hand you the items and you place them onto the tray and head towards the cashier. You can choose any seat. The food was good. It didn't blow me away but it wasn't bad. The chicken breast was nicely seasoned but it wasn't hot. The bun was definitely the majority of the sandwich. The meat was a small amount. The macaroni and cheese was super cheesy! The baked potato also good. The bbq sauce was pretty vinegary in taste. I tried the two that weren't spicy, I wasn't a fan of either. The sauce was edible but honestly disappointing. I would recommend Pappas BBQ if you're looking for a quick bbq meal to go/drive thru. Ordered to-go service and waited an extra 30 minutes for the order to be ready when the order was placed at 8:07. I did not get the food until almost 9pm and had to sit and wait for 30 minutes. We watched people walk in and walk out within 10-15 minutes picking up orders. When the server finally came and gave us our food, she stated how the grill person didn't have our ticket. But when we get home the food was so cold. We only live 5 minutes down the street there's no way it could've gotten cold that fast. Me and my co workers usually order to go and get their burgers which are really really good and can never go wrong with a a double bacon cheeseburger. But this visit me and a co worker went for the 2 meat special ribs and brisket, 2 sides. A little costly but BBQ has gone way up everywhere since pandemic and inflation situation Ribs have an excellent dry rub and cooked to perfection, sides were good also. I thought because it was a BBQ restaurant it would smell like a pit, however it made me feel right at home. There was tons of seating and lots of clean tables to dine in. I appreciate when you can come into a restaurant that smells and looks clean. The servers were very alert and ready to take my order. I had the brisket sandwich combo that comes with a french fries and a soft drink. You can order a jalapeño bun instead of a regular bun if you are wanting a different type of bread. I decided to get the original bun. However, what I loved the most is that you can get your brisket dry or with bbq sauce. Sometimes, the sauce can be too overpowering so I got the sauce on the side. If you want to add more to your sandwich they have several fix-in's like jalapeños, onions, and pickles. Nevertheless, the sandwich was fulfilling, fries were hot, fresh, and tasty! Pappas Bar-B-Q gave the absolute worst customer service I've seen in the past several years from ANY establishment. This is especially disappointing because it came from a Pappas restaurant, which I once believed held themselves to a higher standard. However, times have clearly changed... Manny, Rosa, and Lizbeth were collectively terrible, however, Manny alone deserved the award for worst customer service EVER! Manny clearly does not have the requisite people skills, problem solving abilities, nor etiquette to be in any leadership position. To make matters worse, they were all rude to a senior citizen, which is beyond despicable. Shame on each of them and shame on Pappas for having Manny in a management role. Manny's poor behavior has clearly rubbed off on other employees which is destroying this location. New leadership and better employee development is needed ASAP so the surrounding community can receive the service they deserve! read more

We visited back in 2020, the service wasn't great but the food was good. Went back tonight (curbside pick up). We ordered 1/2 rack of baby back ribs and 1/2 chicken. The chicken was undercooked (see pics). Yams were dry and bread was soggy from the undercooked chicken juice. It's a long drive so we ate the ribs and sides and finished cooking the chicken in the oven. Cmon Pappas, undercooked chicken can make people sick. read more
