The only good about this place was our waitress Leola. I absolutely love her! She was accommodating within reason and helpful with her recommendations! The restaurant as a whole is beautiful and has music that accompanies the music over the speakers. But they nickel and dime you on everything. There is an up charge to switch out sides and I don't even mean to premium sides. They charge to store a cake. The food is mediocre at best and could do to improve the presentation of food

Good vibes and atmosphere. I love the green and gold decor. Good for celebrating or a date night. Had drinks, the crab cakes, & wings and fries for dinner and enjoyed it. I would go back again.

Visited this restaurant for the first time last night for a friend's birthday dinner and felt pretty pleased with our experience overall. We had reservations but had a few people show up late and felt our waitress was extremely patient and accommodating to us despite that! She was knowledgeable about any questions we had about the menu and was very sweet! The restaurant initially had an intimate, chic vibe which I really liked but around 8pm or so this changed and it seemed more like a lounge. I personally didn't enjoy the atmosphere change as the music was really loud, making it hard to talk to anyone and I don't like hookah or any smoke around me while eating. I did enjoy my pasta dish however, and I think everyone else liked their food as well! Prices were okay for what you get and I would like to return maybe earlier in the day to try more of their menu!

Such a cute vibe in here! I came on a Wednesday, DJ starts at 9. We made a reservation for 7:30, and were told we'd have an hour and 15 minutes of dining time. We ended up snagging a bar seat at the end of our time, so we were lucky. The spinach dip and broccoli were really great choices. We also ordered the calamari, which was more peppers than anything else. My bestie loved the short rib dumplings. The drinks were pretty good and the service didn't disappoint.

The food here was pretty delicious. We went during the day and sat outside, so we got to enjoy the nice weather. I didn't get much of the ambience inside but I was okay with that!

Let me just start off by saying this restaurant has an amazing ambiance. The DJ had the music going and he was on point the entire night, the dimmly lit tables, perfect. When we arrived, the hostess was pleasant and sat us down right away (we had reservations.) Our server arrived 7 minutes later with waters and said he would be back. He took another 10 minutes to come back for our drink orders. I got a Dusse side car, my friend got an old fashioned. The drinks were amazing! We weren't feeling too hungry so we got light shareables, the fried calamari, and short rib dumplings. Both amazing, 10/10. Our waiter, however, seemed frazzled and overwhelmed the entire night. He was very forgetful and as we were sat on the outside patio we just didn't understand why he was bouncing between inside and outside. Just to set the scene a bit, our drinks and appetizers came at the same time. He was nice but the service was very slow and believe we would've enjoyed the night a lot more if he was more active. The hookah girl was very sweet as well and quick, but the hookah was overstuffed so the flavor seeped into the water as we gradually smoked. Overall, Para was an amazing vibe, with great drinks, and amazing food. We would return.

Mixologist Richard made this such a memorable visit. From cocktail recommendations to photo taking and just overall making sure we had a great time! We ordered calamari as a starter and it was delicious. I love when peppers are friend with the calamari, gives it such nice flavor. They were perfectly crispy too. I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon for my entree and that was very tasty too. The vibes in here are super chill. It's a perfect spot for a date night or girls night. The pace is a nice size but it's also intimate. And I love the decor.

Tried PARA during Queens Fest (restaurant week). Definitely recommend reservations. We sat inside but they do have a large outside covered patio. Service was good and food needed no notes. The winner for us were the crab Rangoon bao bun. They were like deep fried bao buns with crab filling, soo good! The salmon and pasta were also perfect. Portion sizes are plentiful as we had leftovers. I'll be coming back. Def recommend!

Honey dew and espresso martini (their version)... both delicious!

Cocktails were amazing. I'd return just for them! Espresso martini was strong as it should be without all that creamy mess in it. Food was decent but only had the shareable plates. A bit expensive and next time would try an entree or just stick to the drinks. Waitress was very friendly. One thing we didn't realize that they added tip to our bill already which they did not share but I asked because she had the credit card reader at the table for us to pay and the options for tip were just a few bucks... so I asked then was informed. Odd for there to already be a tip... at what percentage? Didn't see the line items on the bill. So thats the only thing to know ahead of time... unless we were singled out and that's not normal practice. No clue. Good vibes inside though with solid music selection.

I initially was under the impression that this was more of a restaurant but it's light bites and lounge. Even thought they offer entrees, that's still limited and nothing caught my eye. The food was cool (jerk chicken was super spicy), the drinks were cute and the service was efficient. I'm not a big hookah fan and that's their thing so the smoke kind of tainted my experience. It's trendy but for the price, it just wasn't for me. I didn't experience anything that blew me away or deem it as a must-try place when visiting like TikTok made it seem.

This spot has an amazing atmosphere, a fantastic location South End, and an outstanding staff--definitely worth checking out. We stopped in for drinks and ended up ordering every appetizer on the menu, and I have no regrets. Since we made late reservations, patio seating was our only option, but with heaters overhead and pleasant weather, it turned out to be perfect. The place was packed inside and out, a clear sign that it's a local favorite. It was my first visit, but I'm already looking forward to booking another reservation soon!

The food at Para never disappoints! I've been to Para a few times as they regularly tweak their menu to try out new items. This visit was because the restaurant was part of the Charlotte Queens Feast restaurant week. I had the crab Rangoon bao buns that hit every time, the short rib with mashed potatoes, and the strawberry shortcake. The vibe of the restaurant is great. It's got a moody feel with great music playing.

Monday night, half price wine by the glass or bottle, all of them on the list! Love when they do that without limitations. So we went with a glass of champagne! Because why not when it's half price! Service was excellent , and the food just awesome . So fresh and delicious. The menu here is so nice and varied with so many options. We started with the prosciutto carpaccio, paper thin prosciutto with olive oil, and fresh Parmesan and fresh greens, white balsamic and hazelnut. This was amazing, just yummy. The roasted mushrooms, come on a sliced yogurt, with verde hummus, and sumac onions. Again so flavorful and so many different things going on in this dish. Highly recommend this. The short rib bolognese. A fabulous small plate, but plenty for two . This sauce was so good with the fresh grilled bread they serve. The pasta was perfectly cooked, spinach flavored. Truffle ricotta, and crispy prosciutto on top, nice pieces of short rib too. This was an excellent dish. We were truly full so had to pass on dessert but we did get a after dinner espresso martini, called the Salud! A Spanish table toast, peppermint infused tequila, espresso, licor 43, coffee liquor and creme de cacao. Served frozen, this tasted like an Andes mint. Perfect after dinner drink. I hope this stays on the menu! So good. I'm so glad this place is still going strong and busy on a Monday night! I love everything about Chapter 6, such a great spot.

It can be hard to find if you are coming in from the main street as it is located inside a building that has other restaurants and stores inside. But it is rather spacious inside with lovely minimalistic and neutral vibes. The service was pretty great as we were given recommendations and our water was continuously refilled. My friends and I got the Crab Brik, Wagyu Burger, Shakshuka, and Avocado Toast. The Crab Brik came in little triangular wontons that were fried to perfection. I think real crab meat was used which is always nice. There was some aioli on the plate, but certainly not enough to dip with meal in. The Avocado Toast was recommended by our server and it was a top tier choice! It had chili dukka on it so everything from the eggs, sourdough bread, and avocados tasted very seasoned, despite the dish sounding a bit plain. They do not skimp out on the avocado here. My friend said the Wagyu Burger tasted good and I tried the Shakshuka (for the first time in my life) which tasted very tomato-y but still yummy with the bread! I think this is a cute place, especially for brunch. I would rate this place 4.5/5 stars if I could. I want to come back and try their dinner menu which has more food options.

Not the worst thing in the world but when you're sitting at a bar alone it's hard not to notice. Fortunately another bartender came over, clocked that I was just sitting there unattended, and immediately smiled and handed me a menu before taking both of our orders. She turned it around quickly and that kind of awareness goes a long way. Shoutout to her. I ordered a 3oz pour of Syrah -- pretty decent, did the job. We didn't order food so I can't speak to that. The overall vibe was chill and low key for a late Friday night, which was exactly what we needed. Would come back for a proper visit earlier in the evening and give the food menu a real shot.

This would probably not be problematic except we were on a schedule and had to get my man back to his conference. We ordered the charred corn fritters, tandori spiced cauliflower, the Mediterranean avocado bowl, and the Peruvian chicken bowl. It was probably 15 minutes before the server came back to tell us that they were out of chicken bowls. We then ordered the Moroccan pie. The fritters came out first. Incredible. There were crunchy and chewy and full of flavor. They sure set the bar high with this one! Unfortunately the rest of the meal was inconsistent. The cauliflower was cooked well and had a nice spice, but was lacking maybe salt. It was still good. The avocado bowl- avocado was fresh; the olive brine was interesting, but offered the seasoning that was needed; the quinoa, tomatoes, and onions had no seasoning or flavor at all; the feta and tzatziki were good. Individually, nothing was particularly great, but eaten together it was tasty. The Moroccan pie was also good, but heavily sweetened maybe with honey and dusted with powdered sugar. This wasn't in the description. The chicken was well seasoned and tasty, but overall pretty sweet. When it came time for the check, again, service was slow. We managed somehow to get done with a few minutes to spare. The inconsistency makes it difficult to want to come back. But those fritters get all the stars.
