Probably one of the best views of the city here I Passed by for some quick pre-dinner drinks and really enjoyed their lounge/view! I would recommend coming for sunset time. You definitely have to make reservations if you're coming for dinner and request an outside seating as they have inside and outside seating. We intentionally came only for a quick drink and they let us grab a seat at the bar. If you visit just the bar, you are allowed to walk around the rooftop and they have only a handful of lounging seats where you can also sit to enjoy the view.
It is very hard to rate this restaurant. Why? Well let's starts with the good. This restaurant is located on the top floor of a mix used building with Apartments, hotel, and this restaurant. It offers a great view of the city, the outside patio area is amazing. Our server was excellent, Eric and Pear did an amazing job, they are friendly and caring, most of the staff seem to be great too. Well here comes the food part. The Tomahawk Steak was amazing, it was cooked well, for the price of $140, this can feeds four. The presentation is excellent. The sushi roll was good, nothing special. The mushroom pizza was good, again nothing special. The Tuna Nachos was good, it needs more tuna and cheese, great presentation. Rock Shrimp is okay, just some fried shrimp with sauce. Then the worst is the lobster dumplings, I will suggest not to order this, this is just lobster rangoon, I can't tasted the lobster and it is really disappointing considering the price of $23. Overall it is a very mid tier restaurant for food, if this is not because of the rooftop I think it will not do well. Also here is the worst part, remember I said the mix used of the building, well the parking here is chaos, it is the worst for a uptown hotel with valet, it took forever to get our car and forever to get out because all the car stuck parking. The valet attendant is mad about everyone, but he was friendly to me. The mix use of building can be confusing even with elevator. Also dress code? It was all over my reservation email and outside the restaurant, it is not a fine dining dress code. It is more like a club dress code. Yes it is ok with jeans. Yes this is disappointing for what it is, yes it has its good, but it is really here just for the view, disappointing restaurant. I think the restaurant lost its direction, just wants the money for the view and with ok food. It makes it money from younger crowds that doesn't care for good food, management also doesn't seem to care to care about reviews. I won't be back, unless something changed about their food.
Fahrenheit Charlotte - Five at $5 Happy Hour We stopped in on a rainy Monday around 5:15 for the "Five at $5" bar bites at Fahrenheit atop the Hilton. Even with cloudy skies, the skyline views were still beautiful. Happy hour seating is limited to the bar area, but we managed to grab the large table for our group of five. Service was prompt, friendly, and polished, and the atmosphere stayed upscale but relaxed as the bar slowly filled in. The $5 plates are a surprisingly good deal for a rooftop spot. Truffle Fries were crispy and addictive (we ordered three rounds), though they could've used a heavier hand with the truffle and better parmesan than the grated kind. The Hawaiian BBQ Pork Slider was moist and flavorful, but a little more pineapple teriyaki would've taken it to the next level. however, the most Hawaiian thing about it was the Hawaiian roll. Japanese Karaage delivered exactly what you want: crispy outside, juicy chicken inside, and a rich tonkatsu aioli for dipping. The Herb Marinated Beef Skewers were the standout, tender, nicely charred, and so flavorful we ordered two more plates. The spicy tuna roll was the only miss, perfectly fine, just forgettable compared to the rest. For $5 each, the portions felt fair and it's a great way to sample several dishes without committing to a full entrée. Must order: Truffle Fries & Beef Skewers

The view of this restaurant is incredible. We were promptly seated for our reservation, though I will say service was a little slow throughout dinner. Our cocktails were great, and we loved the seasonal menu. We felt as though the appetizers were not as good as we had hoped - the crispy fried rice was rock hard. Our sushi and dessert were delicious however. Love that they currently have the heat warmers and fire pits on outside. The view is amazing.
We LOVED our food and experience at the Farenheit Charlotte again! We got the braised short rib and salmon which where amazing. Drinks and ambiance where great again as well. Server was attentive and great! Highly recomend for a fine dining in Charlotte.
"This is the worst birthday dinner experience i've ever had." - my best friend whose birthday dinner we had here in July. We've been here before to have drinks on the rooftop and that's always been delightful along with the bartenders. We decided to have her dinner here based off of these prior experiences and we are sorry to say we will keep it to the rooftop bar and never dine in again. Our server Lilly couldn't be bothered to do her job well or politely. First, She took one persons drink order only and then walked away from the rest of us. She came through enough for us to get apps in but even then seemed bothered. When we needed her, we asked other passing staff members to please grab her for us and they also couldn't be bothered. The carpaccio was amazing but the Ahi Tuna nachos were sloppily plated with not enough tuna for the price! I want to reiterate that the hosts and rooftop bartenders are awesome and so is the skyline view but the dine-in experience is just not worth it.

If you're new to a cloth napkin place, you'll like it ... but like many things atop a Hyatt Place, further inspection has the ratings revert to the mean. I was visiting Charlotte from DC and had heard great things about Farenheit, so I made a 9:15 PM reservation through OpenTable expecting a smooth and enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. We arrived on time for our reservation, yet we were not seated until 9:55 PM -- a full 40 minutes late. No meaningful explanation, no accommodation, just a long wait despite having a confirmed reservation. When we were finally seated, we were placed outside in extremely cold weather and told that was "all they had available." After waiting that long, being seated outdoors in uncomfortable conditions was disappointing, especially given the price point of this establishment. The service from our server was actually good -- she was attentive and professional -- but that was the only positive part of the evening. For two people, with just two drinks total and dinner, the tab exceeded $200. At that price, you expect a premium experience -- proper seating, smooth reservation handling, and overall hospitality. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Coming from DC (and having spent years in KC as well), rooftop bars overlooking downtown are nothing new. There are plenty that execute the concept far better -- with better service management and guest experience. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're new to the rooftop bar scene and simply impressed by a skyline view. Very underwhelming for the price.
Found myself here when attending a corporate event. The first portion was outside on the rooftop area which was nice. We had a three course meal. Fairly standard options and everything was solid. Nothing of note to standout. Could be a nice spot for happy hour outside during nice weather
I recently visited Fahrenheit during their Happy Hour special. They have appetizers for $5 and their house red and wine is also on special for $6. When we were there they also served a lemon drop martini for $10. A great special overall considering their stunning rooftop views. Probably still the best in the city. The croquettes were my favorites followed by the truffle fries and chicken. I didn't try the pork sliders but they looked really yammi.
When in Queen City this is Aa MUST!!! View is tremendous along with food We always start with American Wagyu Steamed buns .. 8 year old had peperoni pizza as has half dollar size peperoni!! D She had the 8 oz fillet I tried the Mushroom Crusted Chilean Salmon which was delicious. Side order Tokyo Seeet Corn Our waiter ...hope get his name correct Thomas was the best as came out to terrace to inform appetizer was on table. We had mentioned his birthday was a week.ago Thomas came out with a cupcake & candle as a thoughtful touch. Will be back next time in town.
Beautiful city views, good drinks and before decor inside. Went during restaurant week and food was absolutely delish. Only complaint I had was the waitress wasn't very engaged with my party. Didn't ask how things were thru out our meal, and previous dishes were not cleared away before the next course was brought out. With it being an upscale environment I was expecting that. In any case I would go back again because the food was excellent.

Had a great experience here with a large group. Manager Baba took the best care of everything. The Short rib dinner was a favorite, as were the pizza and truffle fries. The salads were large enough to share, fresh and very flavorful, loved the crispy prosciutto. The views amazing, atmosphere lively, and just wonderful time had by all. read more

Tried this place out on a Thursday evening and was a little disappointed in the menu and what was actually available ... Halibut was 86'd , so i had the salmon, ordered medium, came out with a beautiful sear, but was tough and mostly raw... no compensation or sympathy for my distaste for it.... Hummmm! The street corn was quite tasty. My friend's short rib was delicious according to his review and clean plate. Well on to the desserts.....i Was very disappointed that no soufflés were available, all 86'd as well as the creme brulee! Not available... Well the view was nice.... But not dinner... Not sure if I will return. Honestly I expected more especially for the $200+ bill and the $17 valet Bon Apetito... read more
One of my new fav spots in CLT. the sushi is amazing, the drinks are great, and the service is immaculate. Great spot to catch after work or for a date night. The food presentation is very pleasing and it has a great view of the city. 10/10 would recommend. read more

My friends and I went here to celebrate my Birthday with yummy desserts. The desserts were tasty. I got the blueberry cobbler. The presentation was beautiful with edible flowers on top of the cobbler but the taste was the best part. The juicy and warm blueberries filling, the sweetness from the compote with vanilla bean and Bourbon brown sugar. Our waitress also bought out a delicious Birthday dessert for me. The atmosphere is always a nice touch looking over the Queen City from the 21st floor with beautiful fire pits on the patio. The server was sweet and accommodating. We went to Fahrenheit for restaurant week and the food blew my socks off! I have been hesitant to go here for years because I heard the food was iffy. I know they recently got a new chef and I must say the food was to die for! Ahi poke nachos were fantastic and the tuna melted in my mouth. I got the miso black cod which was only on the restaurant week menu but it was some of the best fish I have ever had. There was so much flavor, the fish was cooked perfectly, and it cut like butter. I really hope they consider putting this on their menu. My only suggestion would be that I wish there was more wasabi in the mashed potatoes, I couldn't taste the flavor. read more
Food was great and service was excellent. We got to try their sushi as an appetizer which was fantastic. The short rib was great. Only complaint, we went for my bday and I saw others receive some type of desserts with a candle and my waitress must of forgot. But overall we will be back! read more

My group of three ladies who attend the Nutcracker every Christmas (four years and running) decided to repeat last year's dining experience with three new members. Our reservation was set for 5:15pm, and our group arrived early enough to start the evening with a delicious cocktail in the gorgeous bar area. My cocktail choice was the Lady of the Dynasty, which has SelvaRey Coconut Rum, Tito's Vodka, Lychee Juice, Lychee Syrup, Lemon Juice, Coconut Cream, Clarified Milk, and a Toasted Coconut Rim. The term perfection is less than appropriate! We were escorted by one of their friendly hosts to the most epic of tables, which is a lovely semi-circular booth in the northeast corner of the dining room. It featured panoramic views of downtown Charlotte and was decorated in classy and festive holiday decor. The Executive Chef, Justin Loo, visited our table to greet the repeat customers and meet the new three members. He is an amazingly warm and sincere person and personifies the entire feeling at this elegant restaurant as being very upscale while also being warm and welcoming. He always treats us like family. The ladies and I shared the Dynamite Rock Shrimp, Ahi Poke Nachos, American Wagyu Short Rib Steam Buns, Tokyo Street Corn, and Crispy Brussels. For dinner we enjoyed the Margherita and Lobster pizzas, Slow Braised American Wagyu Short Ribs, Chicken Schnitzel, and a 10oz Hand Cut Filet. Each dish was extraordinary and exquisite! We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. Before leaving, we went outside to enjoy the spectacular vistas in the chilly winter air. It will not be more than a month or two before we repeat this memorable evening. read more

This is my 3rd time eating at Fahrenheit, and I have never been impressed with the food. I heard they changed the menu, and I was super excited to try it because everything else about Fahrenheit is so great. The view, service, drinks, vibe..all of that is a 10/10. But again, I was disappointed in the food! Nothing is bad, but for a place like Fahrenheit I would expect the food to match everything else and it doesn't. I would just come here for drinks and maybe an app in the future. read more

Came here on a chilly Sunday evening. When you walk into the hotel lobby, they will point you in the direction of the specific elevator. Talk about ambiance. When you walk in, you feel the luxury and elegance. From the lighting to the wait staff, we were thoroughly impressed. We can only speak of the drinks but we highly recommend stopping here before you hit the town for a fun rooftop drink and photos. We even got to see someone get engaged!!! It's a vibe! Definitely fills up with the after work crowd which was exactly when I went. Came and went straight to the bar and ordered a couple drinks. You can take drinks outside in the patio area which is the whole reason to come here. The views of the city are great and watching the sun fade behind the Charlotte skyline was just breathtaking. The drink was tasty but pricey for sure. You're definitely paying for the view and ambiance. I only ordered one drink and then took it out to the patio so didn't have a lot of service to experience, but the bartender was friendly. Come for the view. The elevator is clearly marked in the lobby. There's only one so the wait can get lengthy at rush hour. If you don't have dinner reservations then your best best is just ordering something at the bar. The view is great, so go sit outside. They have some nice fireplaces and limited comfortable seating. There's some bar high tops around the outside and it was easy to get a seat even on a Saturday night but maybe because it was just starting to warm up. read more
The ambiance of this place is beautiful. I was excited to come try as I heard a lot of good and mixed reviews. To start off the location is beautiful as you have a view of the entire Charlotte Queen City. The food menu sounds absolutely amazing. The vibes of the restaurant was also pretty nice. Now, when it comes to ordering the food, I wouldn't say that the description matches the exact taste of the food. What I mean is the price point of the items compared to what you actually receive is not really worth what you get. The steak we ordered was not cooked to what we asked. Maybe it was just me expecting more but the potatoes that came with the steak also was very bland. Had not much of a taste to it. I can eat somewhere else with a lesser price point, but much more amazing quality and taste. Overall, I would say it was nice to finally go and visit and try out the restaurant. The view was nice, but I wouldn't go back for food nothing really wowed me to try again. read more

Just like with people, sometimes a second chance is warranted. My daughter wanted to celebrate her Sweet 16 here. Because of my last dismal thoughts of the food I wasn't thrilled but she wanted a rooftop experience and the other restaurant she was eyeing was adults only. I must say I was happy with everything this time, including the food that I reluctantly ordered. Like I heard, the cocktails are top tier. This time what I got did taste fresh, well prepared and slightly seasoned. My daughter and friends had a wonderful experience. She said her waiter even got the kitchen staff to take the truffles off of their fries . As you can see, they took full advantage of the views, which I guess is what you're really paying for. Would I go again, probably not. But I am happy I gave them a 2nd try. read more

My mother and I stumbled across this restaurant while staying at the Hyatt Place. They had the best views of the city if you ask me. Such a beautiful skyline I tell you. The service was a tad slow and bartenders were all over the place with assisting customers. It almost makes you wish they had more waiters on staff. Thankfully the food was of good quality. I had the pepperoni pizza. The cocktails were decent, but not the best. Truthfully you're paying for the views of the city and nothing else. read more

We never asked because 7 year loves pepperoni pizza .....he asks for everytime...plus has some for lunch or dinner next day if does not finish.
Are babies allowed at Sunday brunch?
There were kids of all ages there during dinner service, so I can't imagine they would restrict children at Brunch.
Do you guys accommodate for parties larger than 4? I am trying to book via open table but will not show avail times for party of 5?
They do offer larger parties. You may have to choose a different date or time.
Is there parking?
There is a parking lot, metered parking on the street and valet.
Do I have to be 21 to eat here? My boyfriend and I are trying to go for Valentine's Day and we are both 20.

What is the attire?
There really is no attire but I would say dress nicely. It can be casual but don't go in gym clothes or pajamas. It is a fancy type of restaurant. You wanna look nice.
Can I make a reservation of a table with a good view of the city? I've been to the bar and I don't know if I could make a reservation of a table outside

Is this place more of a bar scene? I want to take my girlfriend for some rooftop dining for our anniversary, but she's 17 and I'm only 19.
One part of the restaurant is definitely a loud bar but on the other side there is a quiet dining area that is very nice and away from the noise. You may want to request the quiet dining area when you make your reservations.
Has anyone attended a New Year's Eve event at Fahrenheit? We are looking for an upscale experience, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, atmosphere, safety.
I haven't attended a New Years event here but from my visits, I can inform you with certainty that this would be an awesome place for an event like that.
