The only good about this place was our waitress Leola. I absolutely love her! She was accommodating within reason and helpful with her recommendations! The restaurant as a whole is beautiful and has music that accompanies the music over the speakers. But they nickel and dime you on everything. There is an up charge to switch out sides and I don't even mean to premium sides. They charge to store a cake. The food is mediocre at best and could do to improve the presentation of food

Such a cute vibe in here! I came on a Wednesday, DJ starts at 9. We made a reservation for 7:30, and were told we'd have an hour and 15 minutes of dining time. We ended up snagging a bar seat at the end of our time, so we were lucky. The spinach dip and broccoli were really great choices. We also ordered the calamari, which was more peppers than anything else. My bestie loved the short rib dumplings. The drinks were pretty good and the service didn't disappoint.

Good vibes and atmosphere. I love the green and gold decor. Good for celebrating or a date night. Had drinks, the crab cakes, & wings and fries for dinner and enjoyed it. I would go back again.

Visited this restaurant for the first time last night for a friend's birthday dinner and felt pretty pleased with our experience overall. We had reservations but had a few people show up late and felt our waitress was extremely patient and accommodating to us despite that! She was knowledgeable about any questions we had about the menu and was very sweet! The restaurant initially had an intimate, chic vibe which I really liked but around 8pm or so this changed and it seemed more like a lounge. I personally didn't enjoy the atmosphere change as the music was really loud, making it hard to talk to anyone and I don't like hookah or any smoke around me while eating. I did enjoy my pasta dish however, and I think everyone else liked their food as well! Prices were okay for what you get and I would like to return maybe earlier in the day to try more of their menu!

The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and it wasn't too packed on an early Wednesday evening. 10/10

PARA falsely advertised their $40 Queen's Feast. Two of us ordered it ($80) plus a $5 upcharge, so it should've been $85, but we were charged $91 instead. The bartender tried to say the extra was gratuity, which wasn't true. They charge per item instead of a flat $40 per person like the menu implies, and they don't disclose that. Check your bill carefully and do the math. First and last time here because of this dishonesty.

Let me just start off by saying this restaurant has an amazing ambiance. The DJ had the music going and he was on point the entire night, the dimmly lit tables, perfect. When we arrived, the hostess was pleasant and sat us down right away (we had reservations.) Our server arrived 7 minutes later with waters and said he would be back. He took another 10 minutes to come back for our drink orders. I got a Dusse side car, my friend got an old fashioned. The drinks were amazing! We weren't feeling too hungry so we got light shareables, the fried calamari, and short rib dumplings. Both amazing, 10/10. Our waiter, however, seemed frazzled and overwhelmed the entire night. He was very forgetful and as we were sat on the outside patio we just didn't understand why he was bouncing between inside and outside. Just to set the scene a bit, our drinks and appetizers came at the same time. He was nice but the service was very slow and believe we would've enjoyed the night a lot more if he was more active. The hookah girl was very sweet as well and quick, but the hookah was overstuffed so the flavor seeped into the water as we gradually smoked. Overall, Para was an amazing vibe, with great drinks, and amazing food. We would return.

Mixologist Richard made this such a memorable visit. From cocktail recommendations to photo taking and just overall making sure we had a great time! We ordered calamari as a starter and it was delicious. I love when peppers are friend with the calamari, gives it such nice flavor. They were perfectly crispy too. I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon for my entree and that was very tasty too. The vibes in here are super chill. It's a perfect spot for a date night or girls night. The pace is a nice size but it's also intimate. And I love the decor.

The food here was pretty delicious. We went during the day and sat outside, so we got to enjoy the nice weather. I didn't get much of the ambience inside but I was okay with that!

Tried PARA during Queens Fest (restaurant week). Definitely recommend reservations. We sat inside but they do have a large outside covered patio. Service was good and food needed no notes. The winner for us were the crab Rangoon bao bun. They were like deep fried bao buns with crab filling, soo good! The salmon and pasta were also perfect. Portion sizes are plentiful as we had leftovers. I'll be coming back. Def recommend!

Honey dew and espresso martini (their version)... both delicious!
    Jessica F.

Cocktails were amazing. I'd return just for them! Espresso martini was strong as it should be without all that creamy mess in it. Food was decent but only had the shareable plates. A bit expensive and next time would try an entree or just stick to the drinks. Waitress was very friendly. One thing we didn't realize that they added tip to our bill already which they did not share but I asked because she had the credit card reader at the table for us to pay and the options for tip were just a few bucks... so I asked then was informed. Odd for there to already be a tip... at what percentage? Didn't see the line items on the bill. So thats the only thing to know ahead of time... unless we were singled out and that's not normal practice. No clue. Good vibes inside though with solid music selection.

I initially was under the impression that this was more of a restaurant but it's light bites and lounge. Even thought they offer entrees, that's still limited and nothing caught my eye. The food was cool (jerk chicken was super spicy), the drinks were cute and the service was efficient. I'm not a big hookah fan and that's their thing so the smoke kind of tainted my experience. It's trendy but for the price, it just wasn't for me. I didn't experience anything that blew me away or deem it as a must-try place when visiting like TikTok made it seem.

Wine was great + we definitely enjoyed the server's pairings. I would skip the food though! Gnocchi was mushy, tasteless and definitely was not appealing. We asked the server to surprise us for the second entree and the server stated the lamb was the most popular so we were expecting lamb but somehow ended up with salmon. The salmon was not great either as it was not seasoned. It is very vibey and good for a date night or a place to grab a drink. I would just get drinks though- food was not good.

My friends and I got the Crab Brik, Wagyu Burger, Shakshuka, and Avocado Toast. The Crab Brik came in little triangular wontons that were fried to perfection. I think real crab meat was used which is always nice. There was some aioli on the plate, but certainly not enough to dip with meal in. The Avocado Toast was recommended by our server and it was a top tier choice! It had chili dukka on it so everything from the eggs, sourdough bread, and avocados tasted very seasoned, despite the dish sounding a bit plain. They do not skimp out on the avocado here. My friend said the Wagyu Burger tasted good and I tried the Shakshuka (for the first time in my life) which tasted very tomato-y but still yummy with the bread! I think this is a cute place, especially for brunch. I would rate this place 4.5/5 stars if I could. I want to come back and try their dinner menu which has more food options.

With so many good looking things on the menu, it was hard to choose, but I went with the wild mushroom risotto. I'm a sucker for a good risotto and this one was ... okay. The depth of flavor was really nice, and the parmesan crisp on the top really pulled each bite together. I wish there would have been more of that. In terms of texture, it wasn't my favorite. Had more of a grits kind of consistency than what I generally expect from risotto. My mom ordered a salad and specifically asked for dressing on the side and it came absolutely slathered in dressing. The waitress was nice about it and got the order replaced for us. Then for whatever reason, it took forever to get her attention again to get our check once we were finished.
