Susie has been doing my nails for YEARS now. I've popped around to all the local Hollywood salons and she's honestly the best. Her nail shape is what sets her apart from everyone else. Hands down the best-shaped stiletto nails you are going to get. A lot of techs don't match the correct shape to your fingers and you end up with talons that don't look very natural. (but if that's your gig, right on) My acrylics are definitely part of the visual brand I've been crafting and Susie just does it right. She's a true artist. She's got a beautiful color selection and great gel selection as well. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming. I love this new location as it's surrounded by a bunch of fun salons in the Salon Republic space. AND there's parking! Just a note: Manicures, gels, acrylics. There's no foot work here, so you can't get a pedi.

Susie is great! This was my first time having Susie do my nails and they came out amazing and she was very informative. My nails are thin because of previous nail salons that I've been to and Susie informed me that the gel polish she uses will help my nails actually get thicker. She informed me about what color would be best for my nails as well. The one thing I was concerned about is having thinned out nails but I trusted Susie and my nails came out amazing.

I have found my nail tech! I wasn't a consistent nail girlie and chose simple colors because I was never satisfied with the design work from my previous places. But Susie exceeded all of my expectations - she was able to capture my mood and translate that onto my nails! In a way, we work together with our ideas to create something new and wonderful. She is an artist extraordinaire with high standards for her work and makes you feel at ease from the beginning. And on top of that, her place is central in LA with ample parking space! I never thought I'd be a "nails girl", but Susie has converted me. I got a full set of Gel-X extensions and can't believe how comfortable they feel. I showed her a few pictures from instagram and she created an incredible, unique design. I've been getting compliments all week :) The salon is very convenient and clean! Susie nailed it yesterday! I wanted a glazed spring color (gel polish with chrome) on my natural nails, and she had the perfect yellow for the job! She put a pretty chrome powder on top and it came out totally perfect - exactly what I wanted! Accidentally super on-trend, too. We put on some music videos in the background and had a great chat. Susie is the best nail tech in LA - hands down. I do not go to anyone else! She's bomb at shaping my nails (needs 0 direction/guidance) and she's super fast. As a bonus, she's super knowledgeable in crystal healing and astrology - and can give you nuggets of wisdom during your appointment. Para Digm is super clean and cozy. I have been going to Susie to get my nails done for a few years now. Prior to that I struggled to find someone that I felt comfortable with and was super sanitary so I was so happy to have found her. She knows so much about nails and my nails have improved significantly since I've been going to her. She has such a cute little space and plays good music, which makes for a nice and relaxing experience. I always get gel manicures and they've never chipped no matter how long I've gone without seeing her. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails. read more

The water temperature was spot‑on, the care she took with my feet and eyebrows was so precise, and the orange‑scented scrub on my legs and feet was heavenly. She doesn't know this, but I have plantar fasciitis, and those extra few minutes she spent made such a difference. Truly above and beyond. Anna did my waxing eyebrows, lip and nose. Awesome and so patient with me. Asking questions about how I wanted my eyebrows if I wanted Aloe Vera just very intentional and caring. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Unexpected Charges and Lack of Transparency…read more I booked my appointment in person on Tuesday 7/15 because I wasn't sure what to select online for Gel-X removal. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I have been going to Susie for about 5 years now, and I will never need to go anywhere else. She is an expert technician and an artist. The quality of products of skill is better than anywhere else I have ever been, hence why I have stayed with her for so many years. She recently moved to a private studio in the new Salon Republic which is great because it is essentially a private appointment. The decor is chic and comfortable. I highly recommend her for anyone who values artistry and a peaceful, clean salon. read more

I've been going to Susie for years. I don't trust anyone else with my nails. She does exactly what you want her to do, has all the newest equipment, knows about nail trends, and has the best color selection. Susie, personally, is so sweet, personable and knows a lot about fashion, music, spirituality, etc. So there's always something to talk about with her! Susie has been doing my nails for over 2 years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! If you're looking at getting acrylics you have to come here. She'll get the exact shape you want, gets it done in a timely manner, and offers great conversation! She makes you feel more like a friend than a client. Susie is THE BEST. I hope I never have to go anywhere else. She is a master at shaping and she's a great conversationalist too so I actually have fun sitting there for an hour.
