Great indian food, awesome service and clean restaurant! I was a little worried from all the earlier reviews but I'm glad we decided to check the place out ourselves. Had the chicken 65, garlic naan, tikka masala and chicken kebob and it was all delicious! Didn't get to try the biryani but will definitely come back for it! Oh and don't forget to try the one of their desserts (forgot the name) but it was a sticky fried white bread sugary yumminnes!! Overall very satisfied with this place! read more

Definitely not the best biriyani I had from LA. You will agree If you are ordering chicken 65 and chicken biriyani. Coz biriyani is just a mix of flavored rice and chicken 65. Even egg biriyani is jus average. read more

Paradise does not need a review because it's a chain but thought it would be better if we shares opinions. There taste is very good and ambience so elegant, wish they served a larger quantity for few more bucks. Basic quantity is low. Really good food! I especially love their butter chicken and garlic naan! However often times the biryani is a little too spicy, and unfortunately they are very understaffed. It takes a while to get the napkins and the check for example. I feel very sorry for the waiters, it's not their fault! They need more help in the floor! Also, their utensils, plates, and glasses often times are not thoroughly clean. I usually have to ask then for new utensils and such because mine are usually dirty! Beggars can't be choosers. On that note, the biryani at Artesia Paradise is good. It definitely curbs your biryani cravings. We almost always get the boneless kind and are pretty happy with the taste. They're generous with biryani and not so much with the appetizers especially the takeaway ones. The chilli chicken(even paneer)and chicken 65 are good. Rest are pretty blah. The service is passable. My best bet for biryani in LA area. read more

We from Bay Area, we lived in LA long time and when we travel by will drop Artisia and pick Resturant to eat since we were so hungry. This time we get made mistake. Reason: #1: salty (malai chicken) even though we said to waiter 10time it's salted what is ordered while dine in - he did not cared to take care for a to go order same #2: waiters keep standing while eating at Redturant in front of you, makes occur ward #3: we ordered dim briyani and at the bottom we noticed there is not of water kind of substance staying - mr waiter trying to teach and show his chef skills and responded its GHEE. Mr. We also cook at home and we know what's different between a ghee and water, just increase ur customer listen skills and don't try to teach customers. #4: try to listen while customer is giving order, my wife was ordering to-go and mr waiter walked out just like that even before order was completed. read more

I placed an order for to go here - Mutton biryani and chili chicken . Chili chicken was good, biryani was not . I am from Hyderabad and biryani has a very special place in my heart. I am very particular about the taste of it. Well it was better than other biryani places in Artesia though. Restaurants start using too much masala after a while, may be because in the process of making it very spicy they end up using too much masala also. This place is not yet there in that aspect. Well coming back to the food, the portion of food was way too small, i was glad i ordered chili chicken along with biryani. Very pricey for that small portion of biryani. Taste could be a lot better. I had the same dishes at Paradise, NJ . It was so yummy. Unfortunately i can't go to NJ every time i crave for biryani, so i am leaving a review here with a hope that they might work on their biryani recipe to make it better. read more

I hate to eat biryani here. Tried 2 times, vegetable biryani but it never tasted like biryani. All the vegetables used are frozen ones. I would rather prepare at home instead of going there. read more

I came to visit artesia and there I see this restaurant and I had a dinner over here.The food was tasty and chicken biryani is good.I don't have any idea about food here but they suggested me biryani and at the last they provided a desert double ka meeta it was really delicious and like a home food.very good service and suggestions.next time definitely I wil be back to the same place when I visit artesia. read more

First time I went to this restaurant and ordered Chicken Biryani I felt like it was the best biryani I ever had, so I went back after 2 weeks to order chicken biryani, it was the worst biryani I had, seriously it was only rice with hardly 3 pieces of chicken. When I tasted initially the biryani was good but recently last 2-3 times, the biryani is so spicy and no taste at all. The masala is not mixed properly and you can see many lumps of masala separate from the rice. If u like to taste good Hyderabadi biryani this is not the place. read more

really outstanding northern Indian food. The best I've had in SoCal by far. Menu is rather random and poorly organized but all 5 things we got were top notch. I have always hated tofu but the fried appetizer was great. dum ka ghosht was truly outstanding. I don't usually gush on here, but you should try this place. read more

Not sure why the low reviews but this place is great. Ordered the Gobi 65 and chicken dum biryani...both very good...i dont write very many reviews but this place was worth it. Very reasonable prices and good prompt service...very courtesous to my dog who was outside..gave him water...one of the better places in Artesia for sure...sorry but the reviewers may have had an isolated experience or they just don't know how to judge Indian food.. read more

Ordered take out thanks to a fellow helper who posted a pic of the menu. I called about 15 minutes after they opened, ordered chicken biryani, paneer 65 and garlic naan. Arrived 15 minutes later. One couple was already eating otherwise, the place was still pretty empty. I was greeted, promptly told it would take a few minutes, offered a seat to view the Indian movie playing on TV. A few other waitstaff checked on me. About 10 minutes later I got my food. I'm glad I did take out, gave me the chance to doctor my meal at home. Because there were no herbs included in the biryani except for three leaves of cilantro I chopped up my own cilantro, added diced avocado and also minced the red onion slice they gave me. Drizzled the cut sauce and we're good to go. There was plenty of meat, the rice grains were cooked with the right firmness, the heat level was the same of a hot Cheetos eVen though I ordered it mild. The paneer 65 were marinated and fried cheese cubes, interesting that it had a hint of vinegary tartness. The garlic naan could have been more crisp otherwise, it was okay. First of all let me just say that we never write reviews but always check reviews before eating at a place we've never been to before. Despite the reviews here, we had to try out this restaurant just because we love Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, especially from Paradise hotel in Hyd. After taking home biryani from here today, we had to help redeem this place because the Biryani was really good and the reviews were not fair. Then why the 4 stars? I was in Los Angeles with my friends and the only Indian restaurant we visited was this one.Goat Chukka is what you gotta try.This was too delicious.Biryani's (Veg,Chicken,Goat) were almost similar to that of Bawarchi,Hyderabad.A must place to visit of you want to have authentic Hyderabadi food. read more

I have ordered gongura mutton along with biryani and naan. Gongura mutton tasted like mutton mixed with Priya pickle, when I raised my concern I was told that it's supposed to taste like that. I always like Biriyani and will stop by whenever I visit LA. I will pack atleast 4-5 biriyanis to cover for next two days. This week I was in LA and picked up 9 biriyanis for a party in Sandiego. After I reached Sandiego after couple of hours, we found that 5 biriyani's went bad. How come it can go bad in couple of hours. I been here for dinner to have biryani with my family and my friends family, in which my friend's wife was pregnant The food was good until we found bolt in curd. It was about 2inch bolt. We complain about it to the waiter and he just said sorry and left the table. The manager was standing out side and least bother about the issue and he din turn up to address it. Very disappointed with the service and taste of the food. We went around 2:15 and waited till 3:00 before we checked about our order. They forgot to enter our order in their system. After waiting for another 20 minutes they brought our order. I ordered goat biryani, boneless chicken biryani, Apollo fish and chicken 65. They brought the biryani first and then the appetisers. They tasted average. I like the biryanis at the biryani factory. I took some home from biryani factory for dinner. read more
