Paradise buffet is an excellent choice , every type of food , now practically my new home. I put together a great grilled stir fry , beef strips, teriyaki sauce soy sauce, pepper , onions, pepper and a nice grilled experience. I also sampled the veggies, baked goods , cookies and carrot cake. I also went for grilled shrimp with a garlic sauce on the grille too. I can't say enough about the price, atmosphere, great staff . Enjoyed this buffet for Valentine's Day dinner. You have to serve your own drinks so be prepared for that. Very big hibachi selection. They also have fresh steak sliced to order with au jus. The pot roast was melt in your mouth. I was disappointed in the shrimp fried rice and lo mein. I wish they had another type of rice. Dessert bar was delicious. The coconut cake was next level. The surrounding tables were left dirty and ours still sticky. The food tongs were also sticky. The food items like meat were honestly just plain sad, most meats had almost no flavor except for the ones where they put a sauce on it (Ex; teriyaki chicken) They kept accepting more and more customers while their waiters were struggling to even seat people and do their jobs. We asked to speaker with a manager and told us no at first, with her walking back and forth. she managed to bring somebody who presented himself as "manager" names Axel. Turns out he was not a manager and stated manager did not want to handle it so he was sent. Stated she was extremely busy. So we were okay with waiting and he laughed in our face. First off, thought this place was exclusively Chinese like the old days. There was a blend of Chinese, American, and random cuisine; limited selections. The price is reasonable i suppose, under $20 per person for dinner. There are no servers, you have to get your own drinks and silverware. The food is bland and I was too scared to try the seafood, didn't want to get food poison. It doesn't appear the staff pay too much attention to the food quality. At the register I asked about the different discounts, being over 60, belong to AARP,and Veteran. the male informed me that the military discount was my best choice and that drink came with the meal that I paid for. So ask another customer, tells me the service here is horrible, and that should have been given a after paying for my meal. I walk to register and ask for a cup, the same male say I should have given you one after you paid. I thank him, begin to make my plate, the fried chicken looked dry and cold, but I tried it, (yes it dry and cold) and consist of wings, drums and chucks of chicken backs with ribs attached, it looked horrible... but I wanted chicken. Every item I tried was room temperature, except the food from the Mongolian grill. This isn't my first buffet, I've eating at buffets 34 years in san diego, always been happy. This location is an EMBARRASSMENT to the manager, the hiring team, and the entire Franchise! I came here to celebrate my mother's birthday after a day filled with grief. I came in with 1hr30min to closing hours. All of the buffet was still filled with food surprisingly. I will say that they start putting food away and cleaning the grills before 8pm. If there is anything out they will not restock. I will say it's best to come when they first open or not towards closing hours. It's very packed at night too and all day. Overall a pleasant experience and the food was still fresh even though limited options. read more

The service at the front is really non-existent, but I digress it's a buffet. I highly recommend this buffet, their food is decent, and the price is especially for the senior discount Monday through Thursday. My husband and I have visited this place twice. Once for weekday lunch and recently for dinner, and both times food have been great. Their service is top notch and food is pretty good for simply $20 per person for dinner. They also offer 10% off for military discount which they also give a free beverage. I thought that was super nice of them too. The dessert is pretty wide spread for being a Chinese buffet , and the only difference we noticed between lunch and dinner was the prime rib. It tasted good for being part of a buffet. All of the service workers were awesome and parking was easy. We simply felt bad that we couldn't include the tip onto on bill the first time for lunch so we gave them tip with a bunch of $2 bills but for dinner, we came prepared . The last visit for dinner, we did overhear the workers stating that there were patrons who took advantage of the buffet systems simply because those people came before the 4pm mark and paid the lunch price and stayed til past 8pm without giving them a tip which is so uncalled for. Don't be those people to ruin everything for all of us. My husband and I stayed roughly 90 mins but arrived at 7pm and tipped 20% regardless. read more

Multiple types of buffet sushi, some simple American and Chinese dishes, a salad bar that most skip, a Mongolian Grill, and a good dessert selection. LUNCH TIME, at 11:30pm, upon entering you see Buffet/cafeteria food in abundance. I was with my family of 8 and after paying and receiving our drink cups from the cashier we left unescorted to search for a table. There was not a huge crowd and there were plenty of tables for us to choose. The lines to the eats flowed well with no significant wait with exception to the stir fry station featuring 1 fry chef and large flat fry station. No food items I tried were outstanding but what can you expect from a business designed to feed the masses, you come here to feast regardless if you are hungry or not. Some mentions; limited selection at the salad and Sushi bar, pork ribs dry not pull off bone also lacked any significant taste, with all else average fare. As we finished each plate of food the plating was quickly picked up by the table bussers with them wiping off some extra crumbs and spills from the empty spaces on our table leaving our area clutter free. This place gets loud; think AMPLIFIED BOILING WATER; with conversation, plating and utensils being moved and cooks cooking. There was some dodging as people scurried about and I found the floor spacing for evasive maneuvers sufficient. A big gripe I have with the facility was the smallish restroom that patrons leave littered and with liquids spilled on deck. The floors were slippery, didn't get cleaned for a long while and when it was mopped became unsightly from the constant trampling by the frequent traffic. There is plenty of parking on this side of the Dennery Rd strip mall but if you transport in a large SUV like my Chevy Tahoe you will find the line spacing tight; society has those drivers that have no experience parking with respect to the lines and spacing; I find that parking at the ends here precious. My husband had to keep asking them to. Bless you. After leaving plate after plate, we just got up without really eating anything. We just tried the food out and left it. My husband, went to talk to the manager to let her know the sushi is spoiled, the egg rolls were too, the dishes were dirty and they weren't picking up plates. She didn't speak English, so he asked me to go talk to her. As I was standing behind her, she was bad mouthing us. I let her know I was there and why we are requesting at least 50% off. She didn't even apologize, and she rudely said no because we had been there for 20 mins. I according to the receipt. I told her that's how long it took to be seated, get a high chair, go get food, run around looking for a waiter to do their job and we didn't end up eating anything. She said sorry you were here too long and there's nothing she could do. When we got home, my daughters who ate the sushi ended up getting food poisoning.
