I was really surprised by this place. The exterior and interior are mediocre. I was just expecting an average sandwich. Great selection!! I had the Ruben sandwich. We ordered enough for three adults and two children to go. The portions were gynormous!! We ordered Philly cheesesteaks and a Santa Fe burger for the adults and chicken nugget meals for the kids. The Philly cheesesteaks were awesome, definitely ordering that again. The Santa Fe burger will be ordered over and over it was so good. The kids loved the chicken nuggets. All of the cartons (we did take-out) came with good portions of fries done right! We also ordered onion rings and cheese sticks. The onion rings were perfectly cooked and tasted great! The mozzarella sticks were mozzarella sticks. Overall, a great place to eat since we normally do take-out. I came in on a weekday afternoon around lunchtime. The place has a roadside diner feel to it (which I happen to like) everything was clean and the only staff member I saw was a lady (probably owner) behind the counter. She was friendly and smiled a lot. They have a good variety on the menu from burgers to different deli sandwiches. I went with a bacon avocado burger and fries. Burger was cooked nicely and tasted great. Fries hot and also really good. I was traveling and only in town for the day. It looked like most of the patrons were regulars but I like little local joints like this. All in all, a good experience, good food and good atmosphere. read more

The ingredients were fresh, the burger perfectly cooked, both the fries and the salad sides were delicious, all for only a little bit more than you would pay at a fast food joint! If you want an amazing burger basically the size of your head and a more than ample side dish I encourage you to stop by this little hole in the wall. I went to Thumbs up burger last week for first time. Wanted a good burger and great french fries. The Burger was surprisingly large and the fries were way delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and piping hot and soft on the inside. The burger bun was toasted and delicious just a little too large for my liking. The patty was very large and fresh tasting. They have a large assortment of items. Service was friendly, at that time we were the only ones in line. Great burger joint I recommend it. I will be going back. read more

I always forget about this place, because it's tucked behind El Farolito and not near any other restaurants. We usually get take out because it's got next to no atmosphere, but they have a lot of burger selections on the menu and every one I've tried has been really great! We were visiting Windsor for the first time and were looking for a place to go to lunch. We thought about Johnny Garlic's but this place had better reviews so we thought we would give it a shot. It was very hot outside, and their air conditioning was very refreshing. We all got burgers, and I got regular fries and the rest of my family got sweet potato fries. We were all very pleased with our choices. The burgers were perfectly cooked and the bun to patty ratio was perfect. The fries were also quite good. I also had a mocha-caramel shake and it was yummy, but I wish I had stuck with water because it would have been more refreshing since it was over 100 degrees outside. The staff was very nice and helpful. The inside was clean, but not very big (which wasn't a problem for us but may be a problem for a large group). They had seating on the inside and outside. Overall, it was a great place and I would definitely go again if I was in the area. read more
