So I got a 2lbs each of shrimp and crab legs to start to see how they cooked their seafood. They have a plethora of items to choose from fried foods to steamed fish and other seafoods. So if you not into the steamed they got you for the fried foods. And I think they might had other items to choose from, but I was just wanting to try the seafood. I paid for my food and went back to the car to wait about 20 minutes. So after I grabbed my food I headed to the house to partake in what smelled really good. I really enjoyed that they give you reusable bags with your order. As we all know that in Maryland you pay for bags so I think I might have paid but not even sure. I was pleasantly impressed how good the seafood was cooked that I went back the very next day! This time I got large blue crabs and more shrimp. I was a little disappointed with the blue crabs because the large were light and small. And I had one that was not fresh so had to throw it out. Now I will give them one more try to get the blue crabs right...so hopefully next time I can maybe give them that 4th star. For now they get a 3.75 star rating. I will definitely be back for the shrimp because they have gotten that right each time!

Living in MD there are so many places to choose from and by God I'm trying to try all of them if I can! lol So this past Thursday (5/15/25) I had a strong taste for some seafood and decided to try a new place around the way. So I just Google blue crab and plenty of places popped up on Yelp and I decided on L&V. It was around 8pm when I ordered a dozen large males and steamed shrimp which I was kind of annoyed it was by the count and not the lbs. so I just ordered 20 shrimp and asked for extra seasoning on both. Which unfortunately I did not get...Smdh I will say this is definitely a certified hood spot. So if you a little scary of random folks just chilling outside and inside don't come here...lol. I'm the type of person who knows how to speak and keep it moving because I wasn't trying to hold a conversation. It looks like it has a bar and maybe a liquor store combination or something like that. It was definitely a weird combination, but I guess it works for them. But anyways the shrimp was really good...but they were not large in my book! One was so small I was like is this a baby crab? I can say the ones I did try were steamed well and the shrimp too...BUT I didn't get extra seasoning on anything and if you want cocktails sauce they don't have it. But you can pay $2 for butter. Will I be back? I don't think so. Good of you in the area but there are too many other places to try...so on to the next!

The food is good and the service is good also the ambiance is great. Crabs are delicious and huge.read more

Whatever seasoning they use is chef's kiss -- I selected garlic as a topping but I could tell there was more going on. The crab meat was warm and perfectly seasoned too. My only note: the 16oz eats more like a side salad than a main dish. For $13 it's competitive with a Sweetgreen or Cava, so next time I'm just sizing up to the 32oz. Service : 8/10 -- The young lady at the register was pleasant and made sure my order was complete. I did wait an extra 5-8 minutes past my 5:55 pickup time, but nothing major. Ambiance : 9/10 -- Not your average salad spot. The vibe is cozy -- think relaxed bar & lounge on a smaller scale. Love that the menu item names are fun and creative, though the menu itself feels a little busy and could be simplified. I'd love to see Kenny Kale franchised on a larger scale someday. Overall: 9/10 -- Kenny Kale is killing it and is def a keeper on my list I found this place and ordered the same day -- that's how excited I was. I'm genuinely thrilled to have a unique, healthy restaurant in the area that isn't another Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie, or..... fried chicken spot that keep getting placed in Black communities instead of diverse, health-forward choices. And did I mention it was black-owned?! lol nonetheless, it's a literal breath of fresh air. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the rest of the experience. The crab pasta was very bland and lacked flavor. The biggest disappointment, though, was the North Shore roast beef. As someone familiar with a true North Shore roast beef, this wasn't even close--it resembled an Arby's roast beef sandwich more than the classic, thinly sliced, rare roast beef piled high on an onion roll. I'd definitely come back for the oysters and drinks, but I'd skip those two entrees.

I ordered a pint of fried oysters, yes a pint for myself, the oysters were fresh, perfectly fried, crispy, not greasy and tasted delicious. Service was friendly, after ordering I was asked to return in 20 minutes, 19 minutes after ordering I walked back into Cameron's and my food was ready. I swapped the usual fish for ocean perch (bone) and received THREE tiny, toddler-sized fillet strips and that I paid an up-charge. Then came the shrimp situation -- 3 "spiced" steamed shrimp that had zero seasoning and tasted rubbery, plus 3 battered shrimp that showed up as rock-hard, nearly black coconut shrimp. Completely unacceptable. I'll give credit where it's due: the roll, fries, and crab cake were decent. That's the only reason this isn't a complete zero across the board. But the second order sealed it for me -- those stuffed shrimp should have NEVER left the kitchen. Hard, burnt, overcooked, inedible... The mac and cheese was watery and running all over the plate like soup. Only the fried okra was halfway decent. Cameron's seriously needs new cooks and better management. This was a waste of money, and I won't be returning.

As a self confessed foodie, I am always in search of my next great dining experience - and ready to…read morerock and roll back to restaurants that are tried and true. This was my first visit to Kitchen Savages. I had tried walking in without a reservation once before on a Saturday evening, and there were no seats available. So my first recommendation would definitely be to make sure you make/have a reservation because they do get busy (understandably so)!! Overall our brunch experience was good! I started off with the Mimosa Sampler for my drink order; I wanted to try the different flavours that were on offer. These were nice, but I'd hoped the presentation would have been a little better and the mimosas not as heavy with the juices. The food was great! Super tasty and packed with flavour. My husband had the Peach Cobbler French Toast and I ordered the 'Create-Your-Own' pasta. I requested it with salmon, shrimp and spinach, but it only came with the shrimp and spinach. Such a shame, because I can imagine the salmon would have made the dish EVEN better. When the bill came, it had the salmon (which I never got) listed on it - after pointing this out, the server checked with the kitchen, and kindly removed it from the bill. Overall, I would say that we really enjoyed brunch here. I will definitely be back in the future to try the main dinner menu & hopefully there'll be no mixups with what I order and what I get .
