Classic hot dog stand! Be prepared to wait in line for your food, but I think it's worth it. This little restaurant was pretty good! The hot dog was classic, the milkshake was very good and creamy, and the fries and Italian beef were very good too!

    Deliciousness about to be had!

** Worth the Hype ** This is a tough. I want to give them the crown "Best Burger". I may have to. Maybe ten more visits, then I'll decide. Paradise Pup just screams Chicagoland, John Hughes nostalgia and Djo vibes. What is it about them? Waiting in the long line while the noobs try and navigate the menu that isn't in front of them? The dude sitting at the register who you can't hear but you know he got your order right? Getting your burger and instantly making a delicious mess all over yourself. We may never know. Brought a non believer here two weeks ago, Bro's been back three times since. Don't believe me? Find out for yourself. Let me know...

    1/3 lb char burger, $8.29.

Every time we come here, I always say what took so long to return. Oh well. They are still going strong, and friendly owner George is omni-present and still taking the orders. A 1/3 lb char burger goes for $8.29 now and is as piping hot good and delicious with a fresh bun as ever. Since the Covid era, orders are now taken at a plexiglass window, and in a new enclosure. Customers are not allowed inside and near the grill anymore. There was no line when I came at 1:30pm, but I still had a modest wait as there were several call-in orders ahead of me and 4 patrons showed up right after me. No credit card fee, so yaay for that! They are a long standing neighborhood staple and continued good luck and success to Paradise Pup!

So we were in the area and stopped because we had seen they were on Diners, Dive Ins and Dives. We couldn't not find a parking space and it was an in between time. Like after lunch but before dinner and they were packed. The lines moved quickly so be patient. A Chicago dog, a barbecue burger and a melted Italian steak. WOW! All were amazing. I'm not kidding when I say it may have been the most delicious Chicago Dog I have ever had; so full of veggies and grilled. It held together with the copious amount of toppings. the Italian beef rivaled any. Hot peppers and dipped lightly it was delicious even later. Get here. Fast friendly service and quick. You used to be able to eat inside, but they have tables outside if that's your thing.

I've had this place on my list for some time now, and definitely would have been here earlier but their hours are a bit unique. Anyway, finally tried it. Ordered the bacon burger with Merkt's cheddar and grilled onions. As well as a small crinkle cut fry. The burger was good, definitely would have again. Maybe I just expected it to be out of this world based on the hype, but I would say it's a solid burger and the cheddar does make a difference. Fry was good as well. Portions are excellent. They have a few picnic tables but they were all full. Overall, my experience here was good and I will be back. 4/5.

Well this place is well deserving of the hype!! I had one of their iconic cheese burgers that did not disappoint! "Caution" get A LOT of napkins. Burger is juicy AF ! Bun is soft and fluffy (no sexual overtones there?) . Line long get there early for lunch! I also had a regular dog. Nothing really special. Afterward I realized I shudda ordered the CHARDOG. Check this place out. I'm sure you'll like it!

DELICIOUS milk peanut butter & banana shake, and super tasty Italian beef sandwich - made this trip worthwhile. Friendly service - outdoor dining only, so not suitable for winter months - I loved this place and will be back!

Tried a charbroiled dog and a cheddar dog and would have loved a combo of the two. Hot dog was very flavorful, plenty of parking and some picnic tables.

Very cool place. Had the char dog Chicago style. It was amazing! Fantastic dog. Also ordered the char burger merks cheddar burger. Got it with everything except ketchup. Added grilled onions. Burger was charred but not seasoned. It needed salt or something. Also the bun is good but if you are not a bread person it's way too big. I'll go back but skip the burgers.

Friends always stop here when in the neighborhood. So we were in Rosemont today and decided to get a burger. Friend said let's go to Paradise Pup. I've never been so I was all for it. There is no dining inside, only picnic tables outside. They say people eat in the cars. And today being 26 degrees we ate in the car. Place your order at the window and they give you a pager when your food is ready. All Orders are cooked to order so you know it's fresh. We all ordered the bacon merkts cheddar burger. OMG!!! It was so good. Something with the Merkts cheese on the burger was delicious. The krinkle fries were good as well. But too salty. So when in the area this is the place for burgers. But in the summertime the lines are around the building is what my friend said. So best to go early or late.

As soon as the soda…read moremachine (for the water cups!) is installed, and the Hot Chicken Shawarma Wrap makes a comeback. In the meantime, I ordered a Hot Chick (medium heat), with a side of fries, some extra pickles, and the garlic sauce to make my Slavic heart happy. The food came out fresh from the bubbling oil, it could be handled without burns, but clearly spent no time under a lamp. Both the chicken and the fries were fried to a delectable crunch. No twice-fried-as-an-excuse here, genuinely well done. My only note is that it feels as though the fries and chicken *may* have spent an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. While the innards were tender, it felt as though a tinge of moisture was sacrificed without need. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and other than the usual delight of dipping them into everything on the plate, they were perfect as they were. Fantastic amount too, not the starch overload of Five Guys, but not a skimpy serving either. The chicken sandwich was the real star. The medium contained some proper spice without having smoke come out the ears. It was well sauced, and had a great hit of acid from the pickles. Out of left field came the slaw: I was not expecting to like this to the point of almost leaving it out. However, it was fresh, felt homemade, and wasn't a mayonnaise bomb. Would order the again without complaints or reservations. I also had a chance to try their house-made lemonade. I appreciate that they use zero-calorie sweetener to cut down on sugars. However, it came out too sweet for my liking. It would be helpful to have options of level and type of sweet. Final notes: The server behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame considering how fresh everything was. Final verdict: A case where I say it's a good thing Nash Bros is a little bit of a hike, otherwise I might visit too much for my health. Barring some minor notes, everything was scrumptious, and I'd happily order it all again (and likely will!)

Only downside was the service. The clerk told us to use the kiosk right away with no greeting, which felt a little cold. They will char your dog on the flat top grill they use for the it grilled onions for the Maxwell St. polish. 3. 4 mini supreme tamales instead of one large tamale. Same amount by weight, a lot easier to eat while on the road! 4. And the thing that really sells it for me-the hand cut fries are cooked in BEEF TALLOW! The next two are either positives or negatives, depending on your POV. I've never used these options, but: 5. They accept credit cards, albeit for a 3% surcharge 6. Ketchup is available BY REQUEST ONLY! I have a feeling you will get shamed if you have the palate of an eight year old and ask for it on you dog, and there are squirt bottles available if you eat on sit and wish to dip your fries, although they are so good plain, "red mustard" as one social media presenter calls ketchup, is not needed.

It's a small business, and they make orders on the spot instead of making burgers ahead and leaving them in a warming tray, so that's ok to some extent but not a place where I would be able to go very often. The fries weren't good. They weren't at all crispy; they seemed like fries that had been sitting around for a bit. They were that kind of wrinkly that fries get after a few minutes, if you know what I mean, and limp. Disappointing and nearly inedible; I only ate maybe half. They were amongst the worst fries I've ever had, but maybe this is the one bit of their menu they don't make to order and if I'd had them fresh it would be good. Because they make their food to order, it takes a bit for your food to be ready. I started with the Bumper Burger which is a thin smash patty that came with Bumper Sauce (it reminds me of Big Mac sauce), lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It was the on a soft bun. All the flavors were okay, kind of on the small side. The Bumper Dog was a Chicago style hot dog. All the toppings were on the bottom with a split grilled dog. I ended up flipping the pickle on dog to eat it. To me the split dog was kind of lost. The Boosted Bumper Fries were a big hit. They made sure that you got all off the topping until you got to the bottom of the box. I found myself shoveling them in my mouth. It's messy and definitely a 20 napkin meal.
