A friend invited me to this hip very chic new spot. I immediately fell in love with the decor. Natural lighting and the brightness was amazing as I sat at this well designed bar with incredible views and comfortable seats. Staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Craft drinks were made with attention to detail and tasted just as good. I tried the crispy artichokes that were a very tasty appetizer before ordering the whole Branzino that included the head, however prepared very well and was equally delicious and filling. I visited Paradiso this Thursday to meet a friend for an early lunch around 11:30am. The ambiance was everything! Our waiter was named Grey. He was very helpful, attentive and nothing short of perfect. He recommended the hummus (hard area to please me in) with their freshly in-house made pita bread and veggies. All I will say is I've never asked for a to-go box for hummus until now lol. They have 4 mimosas to choose from and I tried 3/4 which were all delicious and freshly squeezed (orange, pineapple, cranberry). Steak frites for my entree which was seasoned very well, no sauce needed. In short, what should have been an hour lunch turned into a 3 hour good time and I can't wait to return for their brunch, dinner as well as their patio area! My best dining experience so far in Dallas! First of all, this place is beautiful. Every detail from the ceilings and tile floor down to the toilet paper holders. Seriously. My experience was indoors during a busy Sunday lunch but the patio looks like it would be a great place for a cocktail. The service was above and beyond and we had over 10 people at our table. The food was great- favorites were the beet salad, Italian sausage pizza, artichokes and pasta. I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

We [party of 3] were unable to be seated at the restaurant due to it being rented out. So Paradiso offered to seat us at their neighboring restaurant/cocktail bar. They were very accommodating and the service was very quick considering. This was my second time visiting Paradiso, but first time to eat. I ordered the Rigatoni. Food: I ordered the Kale salad and mushrooms & my friend ordered the Butter Leaf salad & beets. The beets were good and would order again. Our salads were almost a joke for $14. The portion was a SIDE salad and it was basically a few torn up pieces of kale with a few slivers of pear and MAYBE 5-10 pine nuts. I'm still in shock over how this place has made it with the poor food quality. It it's going to be small portioned then it better at least be good. It was not. I've eaten better salads at Panera and even the airport. Service: Came here with a friend and waited over an hour. When we sat down, no one came to serve us for 10-15 minutes. It was 8:15 PM on a Saturday night. At the end of our meal, it was 9:45PM and there were many open tables by this time. We chatted for a bit and the waiter came by to refill everyone's waters. I made eye contact and pointed to my water. He saw me and started to come over to refill our cups. When he saw our bowls empty, he quickly dodged past us as if he hadn't even seen us. I called for him and he ignored me. Unacceptable- no need to rush us out for the table. Drinks: My drink was great. It was their version of a margarita. I would come back for drinks. For me, this fit in the 'instagram cute' category. Meaning, it's great to take pics and post on instagram (ambiance, cute food, cute selfies etc.) but the food isn't there. I looked at the menu before going and kind of had an idea of what I wanted to get (french toast or the steak fries) and somehow I still ended up going in and ordering their brie toast and a mimosa. Partly because I don't think french toast was on the menu, I just saw it on yelp. (Maybe I missed it?) The brie toast is on a thick piece of bread, which appeared to be slightly burnt at first glance. It's toped with melted brie cheese which is in fact delicious, then I added a scrambled egg for $1. Also, it came with a side, where I opted for their side salad. It's not that the food was nasty, it was just "ok". Nothing that I gotta rush back to, not even to try something different. That said, the service was fairly quick and good so no complaints in that department. read more

Omg! I've never had worse American food than here in a while. Went here on a Wednesday night since the outdoor seating looked good but was it was way too hot. Hostesses and waiter was friendly. But the food though - all items were too salty and the eggplant appetizer didn't have enough salt. When I said that to the waiter, Sean, I think, he was like I'll solve your problem and brought me the Himalyan salt shaker whicj made me chuckle. Since the other items came together and all were too salty, I didn't bother telling them. Prices are way too high for this poor quality food. Waste of $155 plus 20% tips. My daughter was paying for Dad's birthday. They gave a red velvet cupcake for free which was too dry. Lol. Did not expect this from an American restaurant that seems busy. This is the most beautiful restaurant I have seen in this particular area. I mean let's be honest about why people come here, because the design concept is interesting and you don't find that a lot in Dallas. I would say the food was fresh, delicious with lots of flavors. The staff overall were great and tentative. As far as food and drink prices, you will definitely be giving the restaurant your entire wallet if you are taking your parents here for a special occasion. The reservation was made a week prior to ensure a table, we were looking forward to the picture perfect ambience, however we were seated in the back near the kitchen/bathroom. It would have been greatly appreciated had they informed us that by making a 2:30 PM appointment, their kitchen closes at 2:45. Perhaps suggesting either an earlier time or a later time when the kitchen reopens at 5 PM. To add a little bit of spice, we waited for about 10 minutes to actually have a server (time stamp 2:40). Which is when we were told about the kitchen closing-fun. I don't suggest this restaurant for actual dining or family gatherings for that matter. Music is outrageously loud inside. read more

Great food and cute drinks, their appetizers are probably my favorite and the staff is all sooo very friendly even when it's super busy they communicate and make sure everything is running smoothly and that customers are in the loop about who's next in line. This bar was so cute! I loved the food & the drinks omg. Tucked in bishop arts, this bar is definitely worth the hype! The drinks & food was so delicious & worth it l, best of all was the service!! Parking is def the hardest part , We had to park parallel at one of the places around there. All I know is they have street parking all around, it's all parallel parking, so good luck. That seems really big in pictures, but this place is actually small, it opens up, but it's still small to me. When you actually get to the restaurant from the outside, it's really pretty, the decor is really nice. I went around Christmas time and they had a really big tree outside. When you walk in, you'll go through the double doors. We had a hostess greet us and she was really sweet, she told us because we were early for our reservations she could possibly get us in early. She told us we could sit at the bar until our table was ready. We actually like the bar so much we actually stayed there instead of going to our table. Our bartender was so funny, he really made our experience the best. I think his name was Danny, I can't remember. We first started off with the fried artichokes, that was so good. It came with hummus and lemon, and it was the perfect touch. Those fried artichokes were so tender and so tasty, I would definitely order that again. Then we had the oysters, whatever sauce they had on top it was amazing, it was the perfect bite. The drinks were the reason why we really wanted to go, my friend had a passion fruit drink and it was amazing, I couldn't taste alcohol and I personally like that. This is a perfect place to take some girlfriends and have brunch, everyone is so welcoming, the atmosphere is amazing. The decor really was our main well point, and the service was great.
