We thought that wasn't a good business practice, but he successfully fixed our hot tub and told our go-to hot tub service company that he was trying to steal business from them. We called him out another time for a repair, but he outsourced someone else to fix our hot tub who actually made the issue worse by breaking the threading off a component. He attached a part that wasn't even compatible with our hot tub. There's a 1 year warranty clause on the invoice, but Marco never returned our call after weeks of calling. So we spent over $1000 for this scam. We tried to look up the certification he sent us and noticed that his certification number was crossed off. Seems like he's hiding something because we couldn't verify anything about him. Bottom line, he's not consistent or trustworthy and has slimy business practices. You can call any other hot tub maintenance company around Big Bear and Blue Star/Marco has a bad reputation for this. You'll end up spending even more money and wasting time hiring Blue Star/Marco. Work with anyone else but this place!

Today, I caught their crew draining a completely green, contaminated hot tub directly into the protected forest terrain. I personally called the main office to complain, and the owner of the company was shockingly dismissive. He told me to "go ahead and report it" because he claims it isn't illegal since "the water is green and has no chemicals."This is completely false and a severe environmental violation. Because of the massive volume of wastewater they dumped, the green water rushed straight down the hill and actively entered the natural creek bed behind our properties, directly polluting the delicate Big Bear Lake watershed.I have full, timestamped video evidence showing the hot tub water flooding the forest and sending wastewater off the deck into the backyard that drains into the creek. I have already submitted this footage alongside a formal complaint to San Bernardino County Code Enforcement and the California Water Boards. If you care about protecting our local mountain environment and avoiding a company whose own ownership flouts local environmental laws, avoid E & E Spa Service entirely.

He found the leak and fixed it without charging us. Only the trip charge. 4. When he showed me how to work the spa, we found that the pump had siezed from either inactivity or just running without water. 5. He replaced the pump within 4 days and had it running like new! I cannot say enough nice things about his service. I am referring him to everyone that I know has a spa. Very professional and gave great advise on spa maintenance that will save us lots of money in the future.
