I don't know what happened recently, but we honestly had a really subpar experience with paratha wala and were left really disappointed. This is closer to a 2.5 star review. We ordered through the restaurant over the phone, and went and picked up our order. I got my usual paneer roll, and the roll was falling apart as I was eating it. It was very soggy, and not how their rolls are usually made. They also changed the way the menu is structured and that sucks. A roll used to come with a choice of fries or a salad, and my usual was the fries. Now if you want fries, it's $4.50 more and there is no option for a side of fries. They also increased the price of the rolls! By around $3-4 each. I get doing one and still keeping the menu item the same, but this was not the case here. I hate leaving this bad review because my previous experiences with them have been stellar, but I was excited for family from out of town to try them and the food wasn't special at all. I do wonder if it was just a bad day on their part because I had other friends who ordered from them recently that really enjoyed it, but we didn't, at all this time. read more

3.5 stars. The wait staff were very good, attentive and prompt. The food was a mixed bag. I got the kale fritters which were tasty but I couldn't really taste the kale if it had been made with spinach or some other vegetable could not tell the difference. I also ordered a lamb roll Which had very little flavor and left me very unimpressed. I had ordered it with the hottest sauce which had no heat. The Paratha was soggy and uninspiring. Excellent food. I can tell if the meal is going to be good by the quality of the samosas, and these were delicious. Perfectly spiced, not greasy and just tasty. My husband prefers a spicier samosa so the hot chutney was the right accompaniment. We ordered butter chicken with rice, chicken tikka wrap, Bryani, salmon bowl and a mango lassi. YUMMMMM! Soooo delicious! Have been here twice and have appreciated how seriously they take Covid. They sanitized the table when we sat and took our temperature. First, i want to comment on their due diligence on COVID protocol and procedures. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They have individual anti bacterial towelettes included with your table settling plus anti bacterial pumps at the entrance. The staff wears masks and are considerate of social distancing. Second, the service is warm, friendly and very accommodating. They take their time explaining dishes and provide helpful suggestions. They bring a family feel to a family neighborhood. I really don't understand how this place has such great reviews. The food was beyond bland. All these reviews raving about bursts of flavor and whatnot-- were y'all cooking without any spices like not even salt and pepper?? That's the only way someone could find this food flavorful. I got the chicken paratha roll, saag paneer, samosa chaat and dahi bhalla. The chicken in the roll tasted like rubber. It didn't even have a hint of SALT! Not to mention the paratha was a fairly undercooked roti. The saag paneer... first off it's not even saag, it's literally boiled spinach mixed with paneer cheese-- it's disgusting. The samosa chaat, well the samosas were flavorless so the chaat was bound to be tasteless too. And the dahi bhalla tasted like thickened old ras malai. Bottom line, if you value your stomach and tastebuds-- RUN. I'm so disappointed to have spent like $60 on whatever this is because I can barely call this food. read more

I ate here with my friend. I had the tofu paratha wrap with a side of fries and he had a chicken tikka bowl. The wrap was ok, but very small and I was still hungry. The desi fries were ok as well, but the portion was very small. My friend's bowl, on the other hand, had a lot of food in it and he said it was delicious. So, I would opt for the bowl if you're hungry and skip the wraps. My wrap was forgettable. We had samosas and golgappa as appetizers. The samosas were excellent, but the golgappa were underwhelming. The samosas aren't on the menu, but you can ask for them. I will totally be back. The breakfast menu looks great. I would have a bowl, however, and skip the paratha wraps. And it went so well with the mint-ranch, that is slightly refreshing. Paneer Roll comes with the desi fries but we had an awesome server Raj (very accommodating & friendly) , whom upon request, had it changed to truffles fries for us! After that, we were in French-fry heaven! The lamb bowl was delicious, though we would have preferred something more spicy... but that's cause we love spicy food. The Butter Chicken had golden chicken pieces in an incredible creamy curry sauce which was great with the basmati rice. We were too stuffed to try the desserts but we will definitely return! The bad part was the Butter Chicken. Was expecting it to be amazing seeing the other people's reviews but it seemed like they put way to much sugar in the recipe making it not edible.
