The snickerdoodle was scrumptious, and the peanut butter might have been the best PB cookie I have ever had- and my husband agreed. It was huge and soft and still kind of doughy- just what he loves. I also got a giant bar cookie (I can't recall its name) with oatmeal and marbled with fudge and caramel. So, so very good. They also had great looking macaroons, Napoleons, linzer cookies, almond cookies, muffins, and much more. They open at 7:00 am, which is a little late for me. But maybe someday I'll stop in and get a lunch box to go. It looked like they had a great selection of sandwiches. Just Great Food bills itself as an all-occasion and corporate caterer, but they also do personal chef services, holiday dinners, and custom cakes. I asked about timing for cakes, and they request at least a 2-day notice. My partner and I have been using Nature's purpose for 7 months and I'll tell you why I love it. Natures purpose has been the first service that I have had absolutely no issues with. First, they don't require a subscription, I simply order the meals I want each week and that's what I get. Such a simple concept, yet hardly anyone does it. Second, since they're local the food is always a fresh and has good quality ingredients. Third, the website actually gives you all the nutrition information you need. I tried so many places that would leave that out and only give you calories. Being able to see how much protein is in a dish is so important to me. Also, they have different sizes and tell the nutrition of each size. Fourth, the variety of food is great, I never get bored of the meals because there are so many to choose from and they add new ones all the time. Fifth, is the support. Delivery is always on time, and I've had a broken container every once in a while, and I've gotten refunds each time as well as an offer for a replacement. 6th and final, it's tasty and affordable. The prices are what made me check them out in the first place, but the flavor is what made me stay. All of these things rolled up helped me lose 45 pounds in the last 7 months. The store itself has a bit of a weird layout and seems like it could use a renovation, but the current state adds to the hippy, natural, co-op feel. I found a kombucha and made a mental note to return to support this business in the future! They have quite the history and while there are many competitors in the area, I love supporting more local, family owned businesses. Unfortunately, I've discovered that the supplements I have been buying there are not just a "few cents" higher than other stores. I was charged $60+ for a Probiotic, and the Saw Palmetto I recently purchased was $7.90 higher than two other stores. I feel there must be a considerable mark up on products and it's taking advantage of their consumers. I understand paying the higher price was my fault for not shopping around before purchasing, however, I can guarantee it won't happen again.

What was very important it was that she delivered the meal to us fresh and it was warm. I work in a field that is hard to take breaks to eat, and sometimes we just have a bite of something that might not be that healthy, full of chemicals, etc. That day our tummies felt great and we took care of our body. I will order another meal soon.
