I had not such a great experience with my second time here. We got here at 7pm an hour before they were going to close since we were in the area and wanted to grab a fruit tart and cake slice for dessert. The staff are overcharged me for additional items when ringing up the order and wasn't so friendly. When I ask for the refund, I was told they can't do refunds and a manger will have to give me a call tomorrow to do it or I can get the additional item that was charged. That seems like an unethical sales practice to me to force me to get an additional item. I wasn't going to be wasting time playing phone tag to get a refund since my time is limited. I have never heard a refund cannot be done for a franchise business before and was in awed. I grabbed the extra charged item even though I did not want it and was really unhappy. We got home to have our dessert and sadly again, the different cake slice we got which was the coconut mango was tasteless. It did not taste like coconut cream and bland. It was just a sponge cake with color. Even the whipped cream was bland. Not even slightly sweet and terrible. The fruit tart which is what we came specifically for, was not consistent with how it was made the first time we had it. Even though it was loaded with fruit the cream was not piped even so when you bite into it, all you get is the tart crust and fruit. For whatever reason the cream is pipped like a in the middle of the tart and then fruit is piled on. This was not the same construction of the fruit tart I had when I came here for the first time. Disappointing. Do I recommend this business? Unfortunately after this experience no. I just recommend the Paris Baguette in Houston. The cakes and pastries qualities are 1000 times better. read more

So Paris Baguette is situated next to the new ACC campus (pretty and walkable spot)- Which is perfect for anyone looking to get a coffee, a quick bite and stroll around. Just like Tous Le Jours it's a Korean based French Bakery concept- With a few extra bells and whistles. Primarily, way more of an assortment of savory and sweet goods and what I felt was a wider assortment of coffees and other beverages. Some pros: -Great location -Spacious concept with very friendly staff -Great coffee Cons: -The pastries we got were a little underwhelming. While they looked pretty and sounded great, the cronuts we got were deep fried and had none of the flakiness one would expect. One of the cronuts had custard cream, the other was way too sweet and was coffee cream based. We couldn't finish it. -The apple tart we got was lacking in filling and dry. -A savory Buffalo chicken tart was so salty we couldn't finish that either. So I think the trend was just inconsistent flavors with the pastries i picked out. Too salty, too sweet, not flavorful enough. It was a shame though as everything looks so great. In general this might not always be the case as they have more than 50+ things to choose from, but it seems like we got duds on what we picked out. Great spot for pastries and snacks. The better items usually are sold out early in the morning or early afternoon. Coffee and tea are okay nothing amazing or surprising about them for me. Horrible Customer Service! I ordered a cake and pastries through uber eats and the staff at the bakery forgot to give the cake to the courier. I called and they said I had to fix this by ordering again on uber eats and contacting them to get a refund. Why am I supposed to do all the work when it was their fault. Paris? Oh yes! Baguette? Oooh La La!!! Only this bakery didn't have any. The cashier says they only have baguettes every other day or so. I was sad. Luckily, they had gobs of other delicious things. We were there early, around 730, and they were setting out more as we watched. There were empty spaces where pastries I would have liked to try should have been, but we still assembled a find breakfast of decent coffee, plain croissant, ham and cheese croissant, puff pastry with sausage, and a raspberry topped cream cheese thingee. The bread that was available was of the Asian bakery variety, which is not to my taste AT ALL. But this chain is Korean owned, so no surprise there. There's also strange hot dog pastry variations, another Asian touch, some of which I find edible. Mostly. In summary, this is not a true French bakery. It's an interesting Korean take on a French bakery. They have a lot of beautiful, looking pastries and cakes that are good if you were looking for some thing quick and easy, but not of the highest quality. They have a lot of Asian flavors they integrate with mochi donuts that are available at times. We came in after a concert to try something new and got some of the donuts. I liked the donut with the lemon filling and also wanted to try the new pumpkin filling doughnut which I might come back for. The first time I came in for a cold brew the morning of national cold brew day after seeing all of their Instagram ads for it...and they didn't have any. :( I ended up walking out. It wasn't a good first impression, but I figured I'd give them another try, this time trying their pastries. I tried a cream cheese donut and twisted donut. The cream cheese donut was mostly hollow with just a little amount of cream cheese inside. The twisted donut was equally unimpressive. They have a lot of gorgeous looking desserts, but I went with those two because they were the least unhealthiest on the menu. As much as I wanted to indulge in all sorts of croissants, since they thankfully show the nutrition information, I could see just how unfortunately unhealthy most of these things are. This place is best for a treat every so often, and I suggest trying something besides what I did. read more

You do feel a sense of slight commotion when you walk in because they are so new - but that's ok, the staffs are very kind and I had a good experience. I ordered the strawberry croissants, fruit tart pastries and pain aux raisins. They are quite good, not as fresh tasting as I had hoped but not bad. I wish they were more flaky because I'm a sucker for true, flaky, hollow, honey combed croissants but these are Korean inspired so I would give it a pass :D The fruit tart pastries though, I wish they would cut the fruits smaller because the size of the half mandarin and strawberry was just absurd for that delicate piece of bread. But overall Paris Baguette is a great bakery, I'd come back to try the almond croissants they were sold out when I visited last time. read more

So happy this bakery arrived in the neighborhood. Came here during opening weekend, and they've done a fantastic job of restocking baked goods and keeping lines short. The Mochi donut was incredibly soft and chewy. We also got the Crab Croquette (the flavor is solid, didn't see much crabmeat though) and Blueberry Cream Cheese Pastry. My fav is the pineapple Brûlée -- flakey, crunchy crust with sweet, fresh pineapple). I need to come back and try the savory sandwiches kept in the Market Fresh area. FINALLY. My favorite Korean "French" bakery chain has now arrived in Austin. As someone who's been to the Dallas locations though, this location felt underwhelming. They do offer the essential Korean cute cakes and pastries but the selection is limited compared to the ones in Dallas. Usually my eyes get tempted by the visuals of the pastries, but none of the pastries really did that for me. Got one of the matcha croissants and it lacked the flakiness and freshness I'd like. And same of the sausage croissant roll. Is it unfair to compare it to its counterparts in Dallas? Yeah, probably. The aesthetic was really nice though. Clean and cool indoor seating and I can see it as a nice place to study although I can see it get cramped if more people are present. And a nice front outdoor patio that I'm sure would be nice to sit at once Texas decides to stop being 100 degrees everyday. read more

This location is located in a mixed use development in front of the ACC Highland campus. There's limited on street parking and a parking garage for retail customers nearby. I came here a little bit before 9am and most of pastries were ready though there were some empty spots. These are French inspired pastries with a few pastries with an Asian twist; think sweet red bean filling, etc. There's even a few savory items. They even sell baguettes as there namesake suggests. I got a selection of pastries and a baguette. The prices are a little more than I anticipated. For 5 items and a baguette it was close to $20. The pastries were nice and flaky and had a buttery taste. I assume they ship these pastries in from a central kitchen. They also have a nice selection of cakes. I found the sweetness level to be just right not to sweet. As this is the closest Asian bakery to me I will probably frequent this place more often. read more

They have a vast variety of sweet and savory pastries, all of which that I've tasted have been delicious. The problem: the staff seems very unhappy- there is no happiness or joy in that room. Everyone seems miserable. They are all professional, but the courtesy feels forced. It appears the person in charge is Crystal (at least both times I've been). I have been to various Paris Baguette in Los Angeles and New York, and was happy that this chain opened in Austin, but the whole experience was very unpleasant. Croissants were not flaky, mochi donuts were overly sweet, as someone who loved desert I couldn't barely eat more than two bites. Ordered a ham egg cheese croissant and had them heat it up for me, the croissant ended being super hurt, it tasted horrible and very bitter (see the photo for reference). The worst bite of croissant I have ever had in my entire life. Drinks options were very limited. Espresso machine was broken so coffee was out of the picture. Tried to order medium iced tea and there was no medium size cup, tried to order large iced tea there was no lid to the cup...
