I am extremely dissatisfied. I used to love this place and came here all the time. Today, on my birthday, we went to pick up a 10-inch tiramisu cake--for which I had specifically stated that I am ALLERGIC to strawberries. When I placed the order, I requested peaches instead; I didn't mind paying extra for them. The problem is that I now have my birthday cake right here, and despite having told them that I am allergic to strawberries, they left them on--and gave me no option to have them removed. I'm sorry, but I will not be returning. I am very disappointed

Coming here can be a hit or miss. Mainly has to do with the staff in the front. Sometimes they ignore you and seem irritated and sometimes they are complete sweethearts. This makes me dread coming from time to time. The only reason I continue to come is because of their cakes. Both the chocolate, vanilla, and tres leches are amazing. I think their desserts are worth making the trip to this place. One of my favorite desserts is their yogurt slice cheesecake. Which is a shocker because I dislike cheesecake. So it says a lot.

Large variety of fresh pastries with ample seating options inside or on their covered patio. Menu by register has breakfast and lunch options from sandwiches, crepes, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice little place to grab a coffee and something to eat with friends.

I love this place! Their bakery is great, you can tell they use in-season ingredients. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their fruit tarts! So good. They use marzipan instead of custard in some of them (which is how it should always be in my opinion). The prepared food is great too. Very local vibe here. The baristas and counter people are always so sweet.

I just left French bakery, I ordered a $50 cake, a danish and a large latte. I asked the lady if she could please add light foam and mostly milk. She handed me the coffee cup about half full. I politely explain to her. The coffee was strong for me and if she could, please add some milk. She then walked to the far end of the counter with her back towards me, and the two ladies proceeded to stand there and talk quite loud about the white lady, looking over their shoulders, and laughing. Really unbelievable, The owner of this bakery should consider educating their staff on Customer Service and professionalism

Expectacular experience at Jeune et Jolie. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service and overall experience was simply top notch. The patio space is beautiful and filled with fresh green foliage. The sage and rose colors stand out in the outdoor space. Definitely chic and modern. The food: We started off with the Plateau de fruit the mer: the selection of scallops, shrimp, prawn and oyster was fresh and the flavors they added to each piece made it for a complete unique bite. The three course menu was mainly a hit with the exception of one selection. The hits: Bavarois d'été - caviar , corn mousse Saint Jacques - rhubarb and vanilla Caille- morel was stuffed with sausage Vacherin - decadent and delicious The misses: Gnudi- (the dumpling like version) not bad, definitely not up to par with the rest of the courses. The beverage pairings were a fun add on. Their sommelier comes out for all four drinks and explains how they pair with the food. He also gives you a bit of history on each producer. I'm sad I waited so long to have this wonderful dining experience but I'm happy I finally decided to check it out. Our waitress was lovely too! She made good recommendations and even shared her favorites. I loved the Bavarois d'été so much and could see the dedication put into dish. This prompted me to ask her, "how long does this dish take to make?" She responded "24hours!" I gasped. To learn about the length of time it took to create my favorite course made me even more appreciative for the food I was enjoying. I can't wait to come back and try new items! Nothing but positive things to say about Jeune et Jolie.

Our waitress was very attentive, knowledge of the menu, and provided great insight on the wine list which helped us in making the right selection to accompany our meal. Then a few years ago, it changed hands (Maybe more than once) and the only Location that I know of now is this one in the City of Encinitas in San Diego County. I haven't been there in 3 years because it is a 1.5 to 2 hour drive. But on fathers day this year, I decided to treat my parents to brunch as it is my father's favorite place for the Niçoise salad. So, i drove from Long Beach. Champagne Bakery is a small french Bakery and café. It is located in a very charming Spanish mediterranean white building with terra cotta roof tiles and a large courtyard with lots of tables under market umbrellas, reminiscent of a European small town square. The seating is almost exclusively all outdoors for the exception of a couple of small tables inside. There is plenty of parking out front. The menu has a lot to offer and is centered around french Café classics such as the French Onion soup, the Croque Monsieur and the Niçoise Salad. But they also have omelettes, paninis, savory and sweet crepes, soups, and more. They have lots of daily baked goods including baguettes, pastries, cake by the slice as well as whole cakes, coffees etc (see full menu in photos) I tried the broccoli cheddar soup for the first time. It comes with a piece of French roll. It was creamy and flavorful. I also got an omelette with spinach, mushroom and Swiss cheese. It comes with either salad or breakfast potatoes as well as a piece of french roll. I got the potatoes extra crispy. Everything tasted really good. My father ordered his all time personal favorite. The Niçoise salad and my mother ordered a soup and sandwich combo. We all enjoyed our food outdoors on a breezy and beautiful sunny day. The manager and staff members were super friendly and accommodating and Prices are reasonable. I wish we lived closer. I would visit more often. If you've never been to Champagne bakery, I recommend giving it a try.
