We went there today, but I was really put off by the place because there weren't many options and only one employee was working. There were eight of us, so we decided not to stay. It was 7 PM, so we went to eat at Corner Bakery across the street instead.

This is a quick serve chain, but they have the most amazing pastries, cakes and sandwiches! The display cases are full of tempting delicacies. There is a large assortment of breakfast and lunch options, in addition to espresso beverages and sodas. Behind the glass, you can observe the bakers and decorators making their magic. My only complaint for this visit is that there was only one person working the counter, with a fairly decent crowd of customers There is ample indoor and patio seating.

Ever since the Aliso location closed, we've been looking for a bakery just like this. So glad PB opened at this location. Same concept as 85 degrees only their choices are way better in my opinion. It is a little pricier but I think the variety and the flavors are better. Love their flat breads & pizzas. They also have donuts & mini pastries. Self serve & check out at the counter, they bag & box it up for you. Hot & cold drinks available. They also do full cakes as well - highly recommend placing an order in advance for those. Their cakes are light & fluffy, the frosting is not sweet. It is perfect. This location actually has a decent sized dining area. Perfect place to work or hang out.

Very yummy not too sweet frosting! Okay so comparing Mixed Berry soft cream Cake to Porto's Milk and Berries it's almost the same! Porto's is a bit more moist because of the milk. The pricing well comparing sizes Porto's you get more for your money. The convenience of having a bakery close by is great but can be on the pricy side for a small cake. I paid about $43.00 for 10 -12 inch cake pictures attached to review. They do provide cute cake plastic knife with a match inside and free candles. The candles are nothing fancy just random rainbow colors. I've tried the mixed berry soft cream cake & the Chocolate strawberry Cake. Both are good. My favorite is the mixed berry soft cream cake. Overall satisfied with my purchase and the cake! Will be a continued customer.

Birthday 2025: Shout out to Enzo , you are one of a kind! I came To this location for the first time as I was in the area. Found PB on yelp and was curious where it was located. PB is located in a shopping center a bit hidden near dollar tree, across from El Pollo loco and next to Boards and Brew. The parking here can be a bit tricky, but what lacks with parking is overshadowed by Enzo and his team. I was having issues finding my reward for a free slice of cake on my Paris Baguette app, and he was helpful in assisting me. Such a nice soul. I chose the blue berry yougurt cake and decided on Halloween to also purchase a vanilla latte and received free pastry also on my app. Win-win! Everything was delicious! The cake was shared with my mom since she did have a big part in bringing me into this world ;) along with some persian tea as we chit chatted a bit later that day. The cake was fluffy and light. Filled with fresh fruit, and heavenly. I would buy this as a full cake any-day! The pastry was consumed a day later, strawberry croissant with custard and even a day later it was equally yummy! 5/5!!

I go to Paris Baguette frequently, various locations around socal. This location on a Saturday afternoon was fine, but many pastries were sold out from the case. I had a deal for BOGO croissants and managed to grab the last 2! This was my 3rd time at this location. It's just OK. At Paris Baguette overall, coffee drinks are tasty (they use Lavazza, which is excellent). The matcha is a pre-sweetened powder so cannot get it less sweet. Would be better if it was an unsweetened powder that could be adjusted to taste. My only request is to please add decaf espresso! All the similar pastry places have it. Lavazza makes decaf espresso, and this would be an awesome addition to PB locations. For now, I don't order coffee drinks here but my husband likes them.

Blueberry Chiffon Cake Slice

Yum!! My friends brought this to family dinner and it was DELICIOUS! The blueberry flavor was so distinct and full of flavor. The cake felt light and the icing was fluffy which created a perfect mixture. The decoration was also very pretty.

Salted Caramel Pretzel Latte
Ivy R.

Stephanie served the matcha latte with a smile. I like their new drinks: latte with a twist of pretzel, yumm! Also, this location is usually clean including the restroom. Great job!

Coffee leaves much to be desired, not a fan of that. But the pastries are always a hit. Always brings me back to life in Korea. Dependable sandwiches and baked goods. Got the coffee cronut and cheesy pasty puff. Thumbs up for both! Cakes are decently priced and perfect for bdays!

Yup, croissants

Great place for French pastries. I'm Lebanese so I have to eat this stuff at some point cause I'm also French Canadian. I did not love the coffee last time but also coffee kinda makes me sick anyway so it's up to you. I'm not gonna rate it for the coffee, but the pastries make up for whatever failings the coffee may have. I'll let someone else talk about the coffee another review sorry I just wanna be honest with you get the pastries my advice maybe hot chocolate instead of coffee I haven't tried it so I don't know but I also don't wanna lie to you guys.

Matcha ICE Latte
Jolynn B.

Horrible customer service and quantity for what you pay. This is how much ice is in a medium matcha strawberry latte. Majority ice. Do better Paris baguette. You lost a customer.

Almond croissant, chocolate chip cookie, Chocolate Croissant and a crispy Nutella Croissant.

Came here to pick up some goodies to enjoy after a day at a lunar new year festival. Paris Baguette pastries are pricey but delicious ! I would give it a 4 for overall value but a 5 for how delicious the pastries are. I purchased a good variety for the gathering and everyone enjoyed them! I usually only come here for special occasions or if I'm visiting family or friends otherwise they are too expensive for everyday treats.

The space itself is absolutely stunning with lots of seating both inside and outside. The store has a lot of floral decor, which gives it a very clean and spring vibe. The standouts for me here was the banana pudding, Matcha and the array of pastries they had available. We purchased two drinks here, one of which was the banana pudding Matcha and the other was a tiramisu cold brew. The banana pudding Matcha is one of the best drinks I've ever had with a rich high-quality Matcha and fresh creamy banana pudding inside. It's basically two desserts in one, and the flavors complement each other so well. Highly highly recommend - it's viral for a reason. The tiramisu cold brew was also good, although next time I would probably opt for a latte on the bottom since the cold brew is pretty strong. The foam on top was sweet and creamy. The pastries here are absolutely stunning, and I wish I could buy the entire display case. We ended up purchasing a Dubai chocolate croissant and a plain salt bread. The Dubai chocolate croissant was very unique - on the drier side but it definitely had that crunch and flake. I wish they had a little bit more chocolate or buttery elements to balance out the dryness of the cocoa powder. The salt bread was absolutely delicious, very well-made with a chewy texture. I will 100% be back to try everything else that Bag of Cakes has to offer. Highly recommend! We visited on a weekday during the afternoon since it was spring break, and there wasn't a line, but I've heard that lines can get long. There is plenty of parking in the plaza that it's located in. Definitely check this place out!!

Presentation-wise, everything was super aesthetic and definitely photo-worthy. The pastries all looked beautiful in the display case and the cafe has a nice vibe for photos. Taste-wise though, everything was just okay to me. I personally prefer pastries that are lighter and more airy, but these leaned pretty dense. The donuts especially felt a bit too doughy. Nothing tasted bad, just not super memorable considering how pretty everything looked. The matcha was also decent but nothing particularly special. The cashier also didn't seem very friendly, but it wasn't a huge deal. Overall, cute spot for aesthetics and photos, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back for the pastries themselves.

Scratch Bakery Cafe is located in a big plaza with Trader Joe. There are many people outside sitting and eating. You order up front and pay before getting a table. Right when you walk in, there are tons of bags filled with English Muffins, however, they are called Manna buns for trademark reasons. The Manna buns come in plain, sesame, and everything seasonings. I ended up going with plain. The bun is super yummy. I made eggs and avocado sandwich with the bun and couldn't wait to eat them every day. They are pretty big, so I only eat half. They also sell bakery items. I got an oatmeal chocolate chip cookies that was delicious and a Banana's Foster Knock Knock. I absolutely love this and so happy the lady suggested it. It was like an upgraded ding dong but like a banana nut cake and chocolate. Overall, if you're looking for English muffins or some sweet this is definitely your place to try.

Of the $100 dollars I spent getting a variety of goodies, here's my breakdown: The ding dong things- way too chocolatey rich with minimal cream filling, never again The Chicago bran muffin delicious, sticky with nuts and raisins I think The cinnamon rolls, meh, never again, dry not expected The buns, made hamburgers at home they were actually better than expected! Soft light The cream puffs they tasted decent but left an afterfilm of the full fat cream in the center so never again The strawberry custard croissants were my favorite, this outshined them all! If am ever in the area I would get those for sure. But for the prices being so much, not sure why people frequent this place.
