It was one of the last few days I spent in Downtown LA, & I was sure to try this cute little pastry spot I had come across heading to the Apple Store. As an OC native, this place reminded me subtly of 85 bakery. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their fresh fruity tarts & all the pastries they had available. SO nice & organized, it was as each pastry was to be handled with extra care. Their range of drinks is also versatile & extensive, this is the perfect spot to grab pastries on the go or to have a quick coffee break with friends. Shoutout to Monica at this store! She was super kind to me and my mom today. I ordered a Korean iced coffee, and she was really nice and explained what's in it. It also tastes awesome. They also did a special request to make an iced peppermint tea for my mom, and she loved it. The sound of the fridge on the left side is a little loud but it turns off every few minutes. First, I do love their products!! However, the people who run this store are not on top of it!! Sadly, I ordered ( again) online a tray of 24 lunch croissants for a meeting on Sunday ( when everything is closed in DTLA) ... the suggested pick up time was 12:40. I paid, and added a note asking to call me if it's ready earlier, received the confirmation and receipt of payment by email. That was Saturday at 3pm. I get a call at 7:15am the next day, ( Sunday) telling me that they only received the order this morning, and can't make it....the lady blamed their "system".... She didn't even try to find a way to replace my order or come up with an idea to help.. It's sad, but I will avoid to go there for a while... as they let me completely down. read more

Omg!!! I must be doing something right to have run across this French Bakery in Downtown L.A. The cheese Danish is deliciously flaky, buttery, and lightly creamy. The Milk coffee is sweet, smooth and has just the right amount of a caffeine kick to finish off the afternoon's energy level. Our Barista was Izya, she was friendly, personable and suggested the most mouthwatering baked goods to try. There was another young lady there, making sure things were cleaned and shinned up for customers. I failed to get her name (sorry), however she had nothing but smiles as well. Good vibes, great tasting baked goods! Hmmmm a ticket to Paris might be next....inspired! Tried it one morning 6am I had a pleasant experience. displays were full of pastries I wanted them all, coffee was just right and the guy that rang me up was chill. came back the next day same time hoping for something quick but it was a completely different experience, displays empty, no plain croissants, no drip coffee ready I didn't want to wait as long as I did so I asked to change it over to a latte with oat milk i saw the lady grab almond milk, I dislike the taste, told the other miss she grab almond milk if it's extra I'll pay for the oat milk she said okay it's fine she'll tell her, I still got almond milk... not a huge deal but bothered enough to leave a review. The ganache has a rich, flavorful taste that pairs perfectly with an iced latte. The chocolate strawberry cake, while good, tasted like any other typical chocolate strawberry cake--it didn't stand out. The 2 stars are really because she was so nice. I got the macarons which were hard besides the raspberry flavor was the freshest one. The other flavors I got were chocolate, strawberry, caramel, and coffee. I also ordered the cheesecake which was different than the usual cheesecake. There wasn't much flavor in it and the bottom didn't have a crust or anything. The top I was thinking would be a little sweet but it wasn't. This has to be the worst location. I have placed 2 orders online for pick up at this location. My first order was placed on 11/18/24 at 7:45am for a same day 3:30pm pick up time. 3 ganache slices. I get there at 3:30pm they have no record of my order and do not have the 2 other ganache slices. 12/7/24 I placed an order online at 11am for a 12/8/24 9am pickup, 1 slice of ganache and 1 slice of cheesecake. I call the store on 12/7/24 at 1pm to confirm they received my online order and that the 2 slices I ordered will be available, they confirmed the order and that the slices will be available. I get to the store at 9am and they do not have the ganaches slices. Both times I have ordered the orders have been simple slices of cake not full cakes or complicated orders. I have come to this location twice, the staff seem to be all over the place and confused, like there's no structure/order. This will be my last time coming to this location. Provide more customer service and time management for the staff. Ensure you have all ingredients for the orders coming through. read more
