Real donut shops have bear claws. I also want to try those cinnamon rolls.

Don't know how i didnt know this place was here. I've been looking for a donut shop that has what I really want and that bear claws. Any donut spot that doesn't have a bear claw i wont be back. I have a few spots around the city but this one is close enough for me to definitely come back. It isn't the cheapest by far but convenience makes up for alot. Their smoothies also are very tasty.

Really liked this place. We came in and ordered a donut for each of my kids and myself, along with a strawberry smoothie and a pastrami breakfast sandwich. We ate inside at the small tables and everything was good. Inside is very small so there would be no guarantees on seating. There were maybe 3 tables. But many chairs were nestled and folded up in the corner so that was great to see there could be chairs for many more people. Just not a ton of space but enough that we were very comfy. I will say the egg on my breakfast sandwich had a ton of pepper. I was ok with that but don't prefer that and in the future may request no pepper on the egg. The service was great. The lady who took our order was helpful and kind. And she seemed to be training another employee. My sandwich was out in no time and l left feeling like this will likely be a regular spot for us when we come into LA for visits each month. Parking isn't great but there is the option to park on the street, which we did. Just note it is metered so l paid $0.50 to park for 30 mins which was just right for us. Across the street is also a lot but l am not familiar enough with the area to know if anyone can park there or not. I will definitely ask next time in case I would like to park there in the future vs the street parking (would rather park in the lot due to having young kids and dealing with their carseats).

Really dude. It was only a cream cheese bagel. I had someone pick up my food and you would assume a bagel wouldn't get messed up. Incorrect

It's suppose to be bacon egg and cheese, instead we got pastrami in the sandwich. This is the 3rd time yall have done this on a simple sandwich and added both when we wanted just bacon eggs cheese and sausage. It's getting very annoying now. Can we please get a response on why yall keep doing this?

Parking Sucks because it's shared with a few other businesses. There is also limited street parking. Staff has their regulars and the will tend to complete their order prior to newbies. Sorry newbies, suck it up! Other than that the staff if pretty nice and has to deal with a lot of attitudes from clients, lots of privileged folks, and drunken homeless people outside. Donuts are super fresh Food / sandwiches are cooked as you order so please be patient. They have fresh OJ and it's super yummy. They have shakes and ice cream but I haven't tried them yet.

I got the #1 bestseller and it did NOT disappoint. I can see why someone wouldn't like it because it is rather plain but I prefer plain sandwiches myself. I like the ingredients to speak for themselves and not be coated in extra sugar or salt. I'm also a big fan of pistachio, the amount they put on is not for the faint of heart... hehe This place is clean, the line is efficient and friendly. I recommend stopping by. I came here as recommendation from Joshua Weissman's YT video of trying LA foods.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

But the real headline here: the falafel is moist, y'all. I do not say that lightly. Crispy on the outside, tender and actually flavorful on the inside, no dry crumbs in sight. I walked around a few blocks in every direction and found the usual urban suspects--cafes, $$$$ dining, sketchy corner stores, lackluster hole-in-the-walls, chain food, and a whole lot of gritty LA galore. Nothing really stood out for going solo besides Dune. Service was straightforward. Menu was comprehensive and what you'd want and expect from a Mediterranean establishment. The interior was small but cozy and well decorated--somewhere between boho chic and French bistro. Food was outstanding. I ordered the hummus and steak plate with an herbal iced tea and both brought me back to life. I know Mediterranean dishes usually incorporate fresh herbs but this particular plating was superb. I saw generous pinches of dill and mint marrying everything together. The assortment of hummus, steak, spring greens, dollops of yogurty goodness, basmati, pickled onions and beets plus the flatbread and a lemon wedge was harmoniously flavorful. I'm good to rock out and abuse myself for another night!

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.
