    Matcha horchata latte
    Hannah C.

The drinks here are so memorable and delicious! I visited on a weekday morning, and there was a pretty long line. However, the service was efficient, so I was able to get my drink quickly. The interior is unassuming, and the store has a casual atmosphere with great music. I tried the matcha horchata latte and was blown away. There was a clear taste of both horchata and matcha, and the two flavors melded together perfectly. I was curious to see if the drink would be super sweet, but it was honestly the perfect level of sweetness. I drank my latte so quickly because it was addicting. I can't wait to visit again and try more drinks!

It's a small coffee shop near Broadway. Not the best clean area. I asked the barista what they recommend and he state the horchata iced latte is popular. I went with it and I really enjoyed it. Service was quick and pleasant.

Small spot in downtown LA. Service was quick and friendly and the coffee was delicious. Parking is not easy to find, so it's easiest to visit if you've already parked and paid somewhere and make this a stop.

I wasn't originally planning on getting anything, but then I was intrigued by the Tres Leches Muffin. Tres Leches is my fav type of cake so I had to try it and I'm soooo glad I did! It was so delicious: the perfect amount of moist and fluffy without being too wet that it loses its structure. My friend also let me try her matcha horchata latte and it was rich and creamy that I had to get my own too! The horchata flavor compliments the matcha so well and they both don't overpower the other. I do have a sweet tooth, though, so if that's not your matcha preference, you might not enjoy it as much as I did. The staff were also super helpful and friendly when it came to answering questions and providing suggestions. They made the drinks so quickly too! Absolutely loved it and now I'm wishing there was a franchise closer to me

Serving a variety of Latin-American lattes, frappes, and cold brews, Tierra Mia has been called by some "The American Starbucks," ; I respectfully disagree. Tierra Mia is by far the superior coffee chain. I told myself I'd come in a handful of times before reviewing Tierra Mia. Here's what I tried. Cafecito Cubano con Leche: Cafecito Cubano is my favorite coffee, ever, and Tierra Mia nails the preparation. Strong espresso and whipped sugar mixed with whole milk. I took my time drinking this beverage and was heartbroken after my last sip. Horchata Latte: everything one would imagine from an Horchata Latte; sweet, indulgent, and will get you through the morning from the sugar rush. Mexican Mocha Frappe: in all fairness, I have never been a fan of Frappes (I prefer any espresso drink hot or over ice). Nonetheless, it was warm outside so I wanted to give this a shot. As my friend noted, this a kid-friendly drink that is more chocolate and sugar than actual coffee. Not bad at all, just not my type of drink. Churro Muffin: Wow. Fantastic. Exactly what it sounds like: churro in muffin form executed perfectly. I am determined to try every drink on the menu, so Tierra Mia has a permanent patron in me. Check it out if wandering through Echo Park--Tierra Mia holds its own in the competitive, bougie coffee Echo Park scene.

Got a mocha mexicano and it was delicious. Coffee is smooth and drink wasn't too sweet. Super easy to sip on. Parking is horrible but that's DTLA so to be expected. Service was super quick which is great that there isn't a bunch of people waiting for their drinks as the space isn't big. There are 3 small tables inside to sit so not a lot of space. Otherwise it is a order at the counter and go type of setup. Really great coffee shop. Will be back!

    Ice matcha with a fly

(Light ice )Iced matcha latte taste like straight milk had to remake it then by the I seen the fly in it I was home waste of money and just nasty all around

The bakery and coffee shop was nice and clean. De Leche muffin was sweet and good. One of their server's was kinda rude, but overall a good place to go and sit awhile.

Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. I personally just don't like that style still, so I'll chalk it up as a "me" problem. The cooked part was good. The Rocky Road was cooked through. It was an amazing baked good with good flavor and add-ins. Between the roasted almond slices and fudgey chocolate chips, I was enjoying it immensely. A highlight of my day for sure. Based on my memories, this LA location keeps it consistent with a similar taste and texture as the NY location. 3.5/5 Chocolate Chip Walnut: This cookie was tall and slightly undercooked in the middle. The middle was a bit on the squishy side, and crunchy on the outside. Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

It's like a fancy filet o fish without the soggy bun, packed with amazing fried fish and tarter sauce. I'm just disappointed when they don't have this in stock, but sometimes they would make more, and that'll just be an extra wait. Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
