I had my croissant & his pastry warmed. When I tasted hubby's ham & cheese pastry, I almost melted out of my chair!! I immediately got a new tray & tongs and got me one. I asked for a bag to pack my other two baked items to go home on the plane!! The worker warmed my pastry and laughed at me when I told him I made the mistake of tasting my husband's. Paris Baguette on Olympic Blvd has become one of my go-to spots for cakes and pastries. We ordered three cakes for a friend's birthday and each one was a hit. The Blueberry Yogurt cake is my longtime favorite... light, fluffy, fresh, and not overly sweet. We also tried the new Strawberry Matcha cake and loved how well-balanced the strawberry and matcha combination was. The Oreo Ice Cream cake was completely devoured by the kids, who immediately asked for more! We also picked up mochi donuts, garlic croissants, and hot dog rolls. Asian dude was rude. I shouldn't even have tipped. Got a cake and they didn't even ask about candles and just put in a random amount. Told me to wait in the corner while he helped another guest when there's other workers just standing around. Should've just packed my cake. I have never physically been inside the store, but I have ordered multiple times from Uber Eats for some lunch items and drinks. I must say I love their snacks, lunch items, and teas. I had the peach tea, which was very good. I also had the strawberry lemonade, which was extremely good, especially on a hot summer day. I tried a couple of their pastries, but I mostly buy lunch items. I had two types of pizzas from here: the pepperoni and chicken BBQ. Both are good, but the pepperoni tastes better. I had the grilled cheese chicken sandwich, and it was okay, maybe a 7 out of 10. It was good but had a weird aftertaste. My favorite is their specialty hot dog. It tastes very good. Presentation is 10/10. Items come sealed in a box, and once you open it, all your items come in their individual wrappers. Your straw is also in there as well as some napkins that are also sealed in a plastic bag. It looks fancy and amazing. I enjoy how much care they take to pack up your items. I used to come here often, especially because parking is convenient - you can park inside of garage, but after what I saw recently, I won't be coming back. While preparing my order, the worker was wearing gloves, which seemed fine at first. But then, he took cash from another customer and, still wearing the same gloves, handled pastries straight out of the bag after cutting it in half. That's a serious hygiene issue. It got worse. He cut the pastries while they were still in the plastic bag, using a knife that sliced through the plastic and left small pieces of it inside the pastries. Then, he warmed them up - plastic and all. How is that supposed to be safe or healthy? I'm really disappointed because I used to like this place. Hygiene and food safety should never be overlooked, and I can't recommend a place that operates this way. read more
