I'd prefer less of the cream and more coffee but it was still delicious and refreshing - not too sweet and had a lot of the PB flavor. Hubby got the Pandan Matcha. He loved it - though it was a bit too sweet for him so he waited for the ice to melt a bit. Not sure if we could have adjusted the sweetness. Youngest got the Banana Latte and devoured it quickly. I don't know if you can imagine my joy when I saw the Paris Baguette sign off the main road while heading to the resort. As a Bay Area foodie, that sight instantly made my day. If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie. read more

This place is a okay...Not sure whats so good about it besides the variety of different styles of pastries. They definitely stand out when you first walk in to the bakery located in downtown Castro. There are plenty of seating and the employee uniform is adorable. I rather prefer Panera Bread to be honest. Maybe its just me since I've been going there a lot and they have a lot better selections in the food and pastries compared to Paris Baguette. I can definitely vouch and say the employees are professional but when you need help with something or want to ask about a pastry specification they all seem to just mind their own business or ignore you. Price for the pastries are reasonable. The ambiance and atmosphere is calm but it can get a little noisy when you come in here to do work. I ordered the almond pastry and the classic croissant which I did not like. The fruit tart was actually really good compared to the croissant. I would recommend this place to my friends since a lot of them would like the countless selections of goodies they have on display but I certainly wouldn't be back. read more

I have visited the Paris Baguette stores in Mountain View, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Seoul, South Korea, and Singapore. Out of all of them, I like this location on Castro Street the best... For one, this store is new. The staff is courteous. The baked goods are fresh and the location is super convenient for me. The pastries, sandwiches, coffee, and cakes here are really good quality and just tasty. My favorite is the little pastries stuffed with mashed potatoes. They are delicious. The cakes are not too sweet but very tasty. I took my niece and nephew the other day and they both loved the mango cheesecake. I have tried almost all the different pastries at this store and the only one I didn't care for is a really crispy pastry that has mango in it (I think it is called mango heaven). It was too crispy for me. Everything else I have tried, including the hot sandwiches have been really delicious and more importantly, reasonably priced. BTW, the coffee is great too. read more

I recently visited Paris Baguette in Mountain View, and unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by disappointing customer service. The lady and the gentleman at the counter were engrossed in a conversation and flirting, neglecting their responsibilities and forgetting to serve customers properly. Despite my presence, they didn't acknowledge or fulfill my drink order. This incident occurred 01/27 (Saturday) between 5:20-5:40 pm. I urge the business manager to review the security camera footage to identify the staff involved. It's disheartening that the lack of professionalism from the staff tarnished an otherwise enjoyable experience. On a positive note, I want to commend the consistently good quality of the bread and pastries, which have been a highlight and the reason why Paris Baguette is my go-to place. However, the subpar service on this occasion leaves much to be desired. I hope this feedback helps in addressing and improving the overall customer experience. read more

I was really very happy and contented about the pastries here until such time I went to the cashier and ask for her help about the crab croquette, I asked her if I did get the right one she said she doesn't know and I Need to figure it out by myself. How rude is that????? I hope the owner will know about the cashiers attitude towards the customer here! She was so extremely rude and not helpful at all! We are so very disappointed with the customer service of your white cashier!!!!! She is not suppose to work there if she doesn't know what she's doing and will not help your guest!!!! OMG!!!! This 1 star is for the experience I had with the manager or an employee who worked there. I believe her name was Wendy. She was very unprofessional and I had several inquiries in regards to an order I wanted to make. She told me she would get back to me but she never did. Very unprofessional. How can you be a manager if you lack skills in communication with the potential customer?! The pastries are good but I did not decide to purchase due to my experience with the employee. This doesnt look good for someone that walks into this bakery for the first time. If I didnt have this issue with this person, I would definitely come back and recommend all my friends to come here since we work down the street. read more
