Coffee Danish

I've been to so many of this chain store. This is my favorite location. The reason is they have a small parking lot next to the shop . a nice open sitting area . Good selection of choices of pastry . The service is efficient and the place is clean.

This shop has everything we have come to expect from a Paris Baguette: a full selection of pastry and baked goodies, bright (not blinding) lighting that shine on the glass display case, a separate hangout area, and which and friendly service. They don't have their own parking lot but street parking is easy enough to find nearby. As for the goodies, the pain aux raisins, sweet potato pastry, almond pastry, red bean choux cream pastry, choux cream bread, castella, and walnut cream bread were all ace and we would get them all again. Long live PB.

Bakery items and cold salad displays

Food and bakery items were great. I tried to order cappuccino but their expresso machine was not working. I went to get a Hazelnut coffee instead which was just ok coffee with syrup squeezed in - ended up throwing it out. The service was good and they had three registers open and it was flowing quickly (even with what appeared to be someone in training). The floors and tables were very dirty though and could use someone keeping an eye on the seating area and counters by garbage/tray return.

Inside of Cappuccino Cake

My friend said to bring dessert. Thankfully this location was conveniently nearby in the H-mart supermarket. Best park is the parking and not having to look for a spot. The store is past the cashiers. At first I didn't see a cake refrigerator though it's on the right side. Checked out the selection and decided on the cappuccino cake. How cute is this cake for a new year celebration. Everyone there was raving about the coffee expresso flavor since they love coffee.

Rainbow cake

Last minute request by my sister for a rainbow birthday cake. Where my other family members thought she meant rainbow cookie, I know she really meant an actual rainbow. Riding through Bayside, I immediately knew where to go for her request. Paris Baguette! I've been a fan of all their locations so far. This spot is super nice, clean and has the trays/boxes where you can pick your own sweet/savory pastry. I believe there was seating in the back, but I had my eye on the prize. I needed a rainbow cake! I actually placed the order on their website. It was super easy and you can pick your preferred pickup time. Even though it was super easy, I did make a mistake and picked the next day to pick up. Strictly user error. When I called to see if they could change the pickup to day of, there was no problem whatsoever! Another reason why this location worked perfectly? There's a parking lot! When I walked in I couldn't help but get more treats! Mochi donuts for the win. They had plain, strawberry, matcha and their newest flavor is coconut. They were a tad greasy but very tasty! The coconut milk was by far my favorite! The cake was a big hit! I wish I took a picture of the inside. Rainbow colors layered with light cream cheese frosting in the middle. The cake itself was delish and tasted like Fruity Pebbles, but not as sweet. Another win for Paris Baguette! Looking forward to getting more seasonal treats.

I asked for iced coffee they gave me straight creamer and sugar. Trash

I asked for caramel macchiato . This is straight up creamer and sugar. It doesn't even taste like coffee at all . It taste like pure creamer, whyyyy am I paying almost $10 for pure diabetes

I love all their cakes and bakeries. But I took one star off for putting too much of candy corns. Beside it makes the cake too sugary, it takes up space and made the cake smaller. Another star off is for $50 it's quite pricey when 1/4 of the cake is hollow and filled with candy corns. I wrote this review after I already finished and see how much candy corns in the cake.

Good place for quick bakery items. Lemon cronut is great but not currently available. Almond croissant is ok. It has a small parking lot. Use tongs and a tray to pick up items and they will pack it for you at checkout.

Random Goodies- only the Garlic Roll (this is what I call it) was good
Najwa G.

This place unfortunately fell flat on multiple fronts. I hate to write a bad review especially in times like these but this place was really just not good. My friend got me a bunch of random goodies from here and here's my rankings of them, in order of least to most favorite- Strawberry Cake- 0/5- yes, zero. This tasted like cough medicine, possibly worse than that and I regurgitated it immediately. Crab Puff- 2/5- a sweet glaze on a puff that supposedly had real crab and not imitation crab in it...it's a pass for me. Mini Cheesecake- 3/5- not bad, but also not great. Took me a while to realize that it was even cheesecake because the texture was off. Almond Croissant (Roll)?- 3.5/5- again, not bad, but nothing special. Garlic Roll- 4.5/5- absolutely delicious. I mean I love anything garlic but the amount of garlic and butter was perfect. If I do go back, it would just be for this.

This is my favorite Paris Baguette location and also the closest to me. I've gotten so many different cakes from here for birthdays & parties as well as tried most of their pastries, sandwiches and drinks. Everything including the service were always consistently good for the most part. I don't remember ever having a bad experience. Don't forget to put in your order in advance if you want writing on your cake. The strawberry fresh cream cake, green tea blueberry chiffon cake and New York cheesecake are the cakes I usually get since their not too sweet and everyone seems to enjoy it very much. I like their egg salad sandwich, smoked salmon avocado croissant, choux cream bread, garlic sweet potato pastry and iced cafe latte. A variety of pastries, bread, cakes, gourmet sandwiches and drinks... what's not to like? :)

Linda T.

I've been getting my birthday cake from here for the last few years. I always preorder online first. They will write out a message for you if you want too. I usually get "Happy Birthday Linda". Personally I love their cakes here, my personal favorite is the mango coconut one.

Does this place offer gluten free items?

Can they customize a birthday cake to include a design and the name / age of the birthday person?

Which cake for birthday is better?

Best to play on the birthday person's preferences, but if you need to play it safe, agreed with Tsz-Cheong - strawberry shortcake is pretty safe (and any of the milk or fresh cream ones). Some people really find the cappuccino cup shaped cake a lot…

It took us a while to decide on what to buy partly because we were buying also for our friends. Naturally, we were asked relatedly by at least the different staff if we needed help or if we were ready to order. Each time, they seemed genuinely want to help, and made us feel welcome with their smiles and gentle demeanor. For myself, the pistachio muffin was totally satisfying and I confirm they did not slump on the nuts. The crunchy eclair was a BIG hit with our friends, and the rest is kind of a blur but I know we enjoyed everything we tried. We'd go back without hesitation. I hope they keep up the great work.

It comes in cubes so definitely easier to share. CRUNCHY: this is the very must!! It's chocolate mouse inside with layers of other chocolates. Plus with nuts on it. It's like a ferrero but bigger! There's usually a line of some length during peak hours and especially around the holidays. You can tell by the sheer volume of baked goods and cakes available in their window displays that they sell a lot daily. This location is on the main drag of the little downtown section of Forest Hills, the baked goods in the front window display connect to a tall and long glass counter along the left side of the store that extends almost to the back. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They carry an assortment of traditional cakes (full and sliced), pies, cookies, pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes, ice cream and coffee/tea drinks. A wide variety of flavors in each, so you're bound to find something sweet to satisfy most here. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side. The latter had a pronounced caramel flavor that was enjoyable though a bit too much cream for me. My preference would be for their chocolate cakes over other cake flavors here. Their apple pie is one of my favorite apple pies anywhere tho!

However, the staff were also super warm and accommodating, and the quality of the items we got (gluten free vanilla and chocolate cupcakes) was great. The actual cake bases of both types were moist and flavorful. I could've gone with a little less frosting and more cake, but it made for a very aesthetically pleasing topping with the vibrant colors, sprinkles, and glitter. I kept getting strong hints of rose flavor from the pink frosting on the chocolate cupcakes so I'm not sure if they infused it with that. Overall, a great little spot, and really a savior for procrastinators looking for sweet goodies to take to a gathering when other last-minute ideas fall through!
