This is our family's go to bakery and a must !! This Paris baguette has something for everyone from sweet to savory baked goods and a wide assortment of hand crafted drinks. I have never met something here that I did not enjoy. The service is top notch. They always answer the phone, fill app orders and are just always so nice and pleasant as they serve you ! It could be that we came at a wrong time. They didn't have much left. I got a chocolate croissant. It's very rich with chocolate custard filling. I wish croissant itself would taste a bit more fresh (buttery and a bit crunchy kind texture). Same with baguettes. I got one and it's very chewy and soft. I came for the Dubai Chocolate Donut. I asked the lady who was tidying about it and she said "not yet". I assume to mean they haven't come out with them yet. I settled for the next closest thing, pistachio mochinut. It was dry and tough. Won't get that again. As I checked out, I noticed that they had the Dubai Chocolate Latte. Ever since I have discovered Paris Baguette, I have gone a few (a million) more times. So I aggregated a bunch of visits into one post in order to help guide future yelpers! (See summary at very bottom) The service is always quick and friendly. The bakery is located in HMart. Parking lot if giant and free. - Mochi donut: The texture of the dough is chewier than a typical donut, but in a good way! I went with the sugar topping, which was a nice sweet contrast to the dough. - Sausage: I'm going to add a caveat that from childhood till now, I will never not love a sausage bun from an Asian bakery. This sausage had a bit of juicy spice spill out with each mouthful, and the slightly sweet milk bread bun complemented the meat well. - Apple turnover: Not as much apple filling as I was hoping for, but the apples were caramelized to a nice degree of sweetness - Chocolate raspberry mousse cake: Moist chocolate cake with a semi-sweet frosting that had very subtle hints of raspberry flavor. - Chocolate mousse cake: Moist chocolate cake. This was just the right hint of sweetness - Chocolate hazelnut cake: Ferrero rocher in cake form. This was a limited time item. Try it when you get the chance. - Mocha cake slice: This is truly coffee in cake form. The flavor is creamy and not too sweet. Grab a tray, wax paper, and tongs and select any pastry that suits your fancy and check out at the register. On my last visit, I discovered a CROOKIE - at Pairs Baguette, it's 3 mini croissants stuffed with cookie dough and a triple chocolate chip cookie baked directly on top. I hadn't seen anything like this before so I had to try it! Lemme just say -whoever thought of baking a chocolate chip cookie on top of croissants is a GENIUS! You get nice buttery flakeyness from the croissant, I was happy to taste the crisp layers. And the cookie on top was SO delicious with thick chocolate chips. The cookie dough filling was a nice addition as well to bring it altogether. It was quite sweet and chocolatey but had a hint of salt for contrast. Overall, I super enjoyed this treat and recommend coming here just for that! I also grabbed a hot dog bread and egg tart, both were enjoyable but pretty much met my expectations for these types of pastries. Prices range from $3-7ish dollars depending on the pastry. Tried the matcha latte made with oat milk and it was excellent, best I've ever had! I may have trouble finding a tastier one. It had a strong, earthy matcha flavor in a creamy not overly sweet base. It's the, "Let's get a treat after grocery shopping", that'll get you here. The iced hazelnut latte is the GOAT, that's if they made it properly. Something about the hazelnut syrup just sings to me. They have a lot of pastries if you get there early enough. My fav is the pain du chocolat croissant. Don't get the other chocolate croissant as it's not the same. The butter cream bread is a MUST get. They have tons of it in stock for a reason lol. I'm not a fan of any of their cakes so I just go for the pastries. I normally load up with the coffee bun and the crunchy hot dog bun too. As for bread, I like making egg sandos with their milk bread. However, they don't last as long and tends to get stale after 3 days-ish. Not a bad thing per se; I see that as a good thing. Tells me that less-preservatives makes it spoil faster but just a reminder to eat it up quick. Also nuking it in the microwave for about 15 seconds after it stales also helps. I like getting late evening iced lattes, however, they sell espresso drinks(lattes) until 7pm. Although they will continue to sell iced coffee til closing. Employees are very sweet and work efficient, although they do sometimes forget to add syrup or make the drink wrong. As of Oct 2024, HMart went through a bit of remodeling and it seems that they've given Paris Baguette a bit more space so it isn't as crowded as before. read more

I was in the H Mart and saw that they had a nice little bakery off to the side. We parked our cart off to the side, grabbed a tray and liner and a set of tongs and got to work. This place is cute, clean, well-stocked and reminds me of the pastry shops I used to frequent in Hong Kong. This shop has all of the current trendy pastries, things like crème brûlée donuts, mochi donuts, or filled cronuts, as well as some classics, and some very creative things I haven't seen before. Everything was DELICIOUS. The blueberry chiffon cake was delicious and gorgeous, the hash brown stuffed bread is something I could see myself eating every single morning for breakfast (it is ham, cheese and hash brown baked inside of a bread roll, with a light ketchup drizzle, yum!!!) we ordered a ton of stuff and demolished it all. It was very reasonably priced too! I didn't even have time to take pictures of some of it. I have been planning to stop by again since the moment I left the store. It also has the allergens and ingredient warnings in nice tidy letters listed on the item name right there in front of it! Yes, it's the holidays and eateries are understaffed and employees overworked, but please don't *guarantee* you're giving me a Chocolate Chiffon Cake when you don't actually know for sure! The Kris Kringle design was adorable, but it's what's inside that counts, and unfortunately, there was no chiffon to be found, just plain and honestly rather dry chocolate cake even with a plethora of icing (which disappointingly enough was also nearly flavorless). This location seriously needs to be honest and consistent about its business hours. On the website they close at 8pm. The sign on the front door says they close at 6:00 PM. However, their website states they are open until 8:00 PM, and when we called to confirm, we were also told they close at 8:00 PM. We arrived about 8 minutes before 6:00 PM, and the doors were already locked. Staff inside looked at us and simply said, "We're closed," with no explanation or apology. There were other customers standing outside as well, equally confused. Closing before the posted closing time is unacceptable. Giving conflicting information on the website and over the phone is misleading. For customers who are not nearby and travel specifically to come here, this causes real inconvenience. This is not good customer service--especially the lack of courtesy and communication. If you close at 6:00 PM, say so clearly everywhere and don't lock the doors early. Hardly ever on this side of Mira Mesa and decided to go to H Mart in the morning. Stopped at Paris Baguette for some pastries and a mocha coffee. The ham and cheese was super delicious, it would taste better if it was warm. The curry pastry was okay and the hot dog wasn't bad. I thought it was cheese drizzled on the outside, I'm pretty sure it was mustard. Overall, it was a nice selection, only downside was everything was cold. Even the mocha was lukewarm. We had Paris baguette before, I usually go to the one in Irvine because it's an actual shop. We usually get the cakes for birthdays and it's delicious! This time I got some pastries: fruit tart with custard, custard bread, and the cronut (croissant donut). The cronut was so good! I'll get that again next time when it's fresh in the day. This is my new Go-To bakery. That Celsius temperature place has been superceded. A first-time shopper here, my purchase was two loaves of bread, Soft Cream and Multigrain. Both were extremely fresh, soft and delicious. Each cost about $5, and weighed about 15 ounces. Not bargain basement, but without a doubt worth it. There is an eye-popping selection of pastries and cakes and as I recall, four varieties of bread. It might become my life's work to try each and every item in their bulging display cases.
