Nice and very clean upscale looking atmosphere for a Vietnamese sandwich and bakery shop. Friendly staff. You can order off a kiosk or at the counter. Their sandwich prices are reasonable. They have complimentary water beside the sauce station (5 sauces) with cups, napkins and utensils. I came for lunch and ordered B7 the pate and pork BBQ bánh mì. The baguette was very crunchy and stiff. It was a good tasting sandwich with their house sauce, jalapeños, cucumbers, and pickled daikon and carrots with a bit of cilantro. I got the sweet chili and Sriracha sauce to spice it up a bit. While not the best bánh mì sandwich I've ever had. I would recommend this place because it was good and was helped by the reasonable price. Probably closer to a 3.5 but I'll give it a 4. read more

I enjoyed Paris Banh Mi at the Cary restaurant and am sad that it closed. This location did not disappoint! The Cary location had a smaller menu too - my friend is not much of a sandwich person and they got a noodle bowl which was not available in Cary. I got a chicken Banh Mi and my first impression was that it was smaller than what I would get in Cary but still a good serving size. I would regularly use three little cups of sriracha in Cary but I only used two in Chapel Hill. I asked for no cucumbers (check!) and extra jalapenos... I was talking with my friend during lunch so I honestly can't say there were any jalapenos at all. Perhaps they misunderstood and held both?? Even still, best Banh Mi in the area!! Seriously! I also got regular fries with lemon pepper seasoning. I was pleasantly surprised that the lemon pepper seasoning came on the side in a little cup. I did use a little but I figure the fries already had salt, the seasoning had even more, and I like to go easy on salt. The fries themselves were a highlight! Nice and crispy, just the way I like them! And very good serving size too! I appreciate the thought and originality that went into their seating in the dining area but it really doesn't work for everyone. Half of the seating is probably more suited for drinks... I guess that's popular with some people but the drinks are not why I come to this restaurant. I've never had anything except water at Paris Banh Mi. Let's just say their seating is not comfortable for a big boy like me. They should reconsider their seating. They have an epic array of decadent treats and desserts but I was a good boy and just "ate" them with my phone to show off what they have. Honestly, looking over the photos and adding captions, Hot Chocolate Cheesecake "speaks to me" the most - I'm a cheesecake boy and I love spicy food. Maybe some day! read more

Cute little spot for lunch today. It's boiling outside, but it was cool and calm in this bright, pretty restaurant. Bahn Mis are their specialty, but they have a lot of other offerings, too, including croissants, noodle bowls, and rice bowls. My shredded chicken noodle bowl was quite good! It had lots of marinated chicken, rice noodles and vegetables. It was the perfect cool lunch for a hot day! My friend very much enjoyed his chicken bahn mi with crispy fries on the side. The service was friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. Seating was odd, though. there are only three tables (each had a combination of booth seating and chairs), the rest were bar stools. The chairs and stools could have been more comfortable, and it was difficult to slide behind the table to sit in the booths. read more

Such a cute little spot in Chapel Hill, right near UNC They have cheesecakes, macarons, Korean hot dogs, a variety of teas and much more on the menu. You can order at their kiosk or directly at the counter, and the service is super fast and polite. I tried the coconut milk tea with matcha cheese foam and honestly it was perfect as-is, didn't even need extra sugar. The vibe is really nice too. You can find cozy, more private seating if you just want to relax, or it's also a great spot for students to study or get some work done. Popped in for lunch from Raleigh. I've eaten at other Paris Banh Mi locations in other states and was very excited to see it open here. The decor is cute and modern, but the food is still a work in progress here at this location. I got the special and grilled pork banh mi sandwiches. They were pretty good, better than what you normally find in the area. Bread was good sized but lacked the crisp that only the best banh mis have. Veggies were tasty but cut too thick. The pate on the special sandwich had amazing flavor, almost the best I've ever tasted. Overall a solid sandwich but not as great as I've had at other franchise locations. Skip the popcorn chicken. They were just a plain store bought Italian chicken tender. Very disappointing. No classic popcorn chk flavor nor crunchy exterior. Do yourself a favor and walk down a few doors to Quickly for your popcorn chicken fix. read more

Stopped in for an early takeout lunch. The indoor decor was beautiful. We ordered two sandwiches (pork, vegetarian/tofu) as well as a Paris milk tea. We also indulged in a turtle cheesecake. Despite the food having to sit for a while before we got a chance to enjoy it, everything was delicious. The banh mi were a good size for the price. The pork was very flavorful and the daikon pickles plentiful. The tofu banh mi did not look like what was pictured on the ordering kiosk (at first thought they'd made an error and given us another meat sandwich), but it was tasty although less flavorful than the pork. Baguette was dense and crispy, but would have wished for a bit more cilantro and/or picked carrots. The cheesecake was just okay, it definitely had a thawed-from-frozen taste to it, but it hit the (verrry) sweet spot. Milk tea with boba pearls was on point but quite sweet even with half-sugar. I had high hopes for this restaurant. I lived in Houston for many years and there were many wonderful Vietnamese restaurants. I've tried two meals here and they were both very disappointing. Most recently I tried the spring rolls. The rolls themselves were alright but the peanut sauce was horrible. Basically it was just a peanut paste with a few flakes of red pepper. Boring! Tasteless. I had a sandwich there and it was not much better than average. Hope that they will make some changes. Not really worth the money. read more

The bahn mi was okay. Not as good as other places in North Carolina but likely the best in Chapel Hill. The ice cream offerings were good but wish they wouldn't put them in a takeout bag with hot food. The k dogs don't travel well so eat them on site. Most disappointing was the combination noodle bowl. The pork was fine but I had to add my own nuoc Cham to have the flavor of fish sauce or spice. It's like it's been diluted for Americans. Was looking forward to good Vietnamese bowl. I'll probably try a couple other things and get the special ice creams for my kid occasionally still. read more

Just terrible. Very little filling in the sandwich except for the daikon radish. Everything seemed to be exactly cut and proportioned and no real flavor. I was very disappointed in everything we tried including the Ube cheesecake and the ricotta cake. Just very bland. Prefer the flavor at Gossip. Much more authentic flavors. read more

Incredible!! Quick, friendly service with a digital and in person ordering option. The ambiance is great with awesome decor, and seating made to maximize privacy unlike most other similar restaurants. They had booth, table, chair, and hightop/single seaters. The food was priced well, about $8 for most handhelds. The ground beef/pork patty (C3) was to DIE for! The butter mayo on the croissant was delicious. I also ordered a corn dog but saved it for later since the C3 was so filling. My mom had one of the "B" options, and while it was good, the C was much better. I also ordered a custard matcha latte that seemed straight out of instagram. Latte on the bottom, custard on the top. The total without the drink was around $22, and the drink was an additional $8, which is pretty cheap for quality matcha drinks with that much ingredient in them (it was more than just a dash of matcha, rather a healthy scoop). Totally recommend and will be returning! read more
