I just ordered some fanstastic food from Lagos. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, a caesar salad and tiramisu. The food came right on time and the delivery driver was really nice. This is the fourth or fifth time I have ordered from Lagos and I was so impressed with the food and customer service I have gotten that I decided to open a Yelp account so I could review it. The pasta was really great (I usually get pizza and buffalo wings). It was not the best tiramisu I have ever had but it hit the spot (I can be rather picky when it comes to desserts!) and I would order it again. I have never really been able to settle on a regular pizza place but I think it is safe to say that Legos is MY spot! read more

I like their panini and their pizza... For the panini - I like the one with chicken, cheese and pesto. Their chicken panini is the best! (it comes with everything that's why)! For the pizza - the crust is just right and I love their All Meat pizza! (Girl gotta eat!) People wise - they are helpful, they have good customer service, and they speak French, il parle Francais! Btw, they have a 50+/- inch Panasonic Flat Screen tv and WiFi is free! I recommend them. Check them out some time! read more

Fine place for a slice of pizza my daughter and her grandmother and I had dinner at this pizza place it was very relaxing as well very welcoming. I enjoyed looking at all the decors on the wall while stuffing my face with pizza. One slice of pizza was like eating a full meal. My ladies and I were on our way to the Speakeasy on Broadway and needed some quick sustenance before the show. We walked in and almost walked back out because the ambience is, well, lacking! Kind of industrial...BUT - the guy offered to make us a fresh veggie pizza for slices, and in about 15 minutes he produced a VERY tasty pesto/spinach/mushroom/cheese pizza that FAR exceeded our expectations! And for only $5 / slice!! The crust was really good - just crispy enough - and the toppings tasted fresh. The guy at the counter was really kind and the whole experience was a pleasant surprise! Ordered lasagna by delivery and my food still hadn't shown up after an hour and 15 minutes. Called the place to find out where my order was and experienced the most TERRIBLE customer service. The guy just kept saying, "Well she was there and she called you and no one answered." No matter how many times I explained that that was utter bullshit (I had my phone on me with full reception at all times) the guy basically made it sound like it was my fault that my food just DIDN'T SHOW UP. After finally demanding to know whether I was going to be getting my food at all or whether I should spend my money elsewhere, the lasagna arrived at my door nearly 2 hours after I ordered. I wasn't expecting much as I had been to its predecessor. The new place is clean well run and has tasty pizza. $3 for cheese. It's not super thin, but not fat either. The crust is soft, very high cheese to sauce ratio. The cheese is salty and the sauce is slightly sweet. It's a an interesting combo. There's also a dash of fresh ground pepper in the sauce which adds a nice zing. 2 tables, one of them outside, about 4 counter spots. Very small. Good service. Quite an upgrade! read more

There are so many better options in the neighborhood; the only reason to come here is if it's late, you've been drinking, and you just don't feel like trying anymore. I came in with a dear friend, moving back to the old neighborhood! We ordered 2 pepperoni pizza slices, warm and fast and tasty. My friend and I felt comfortable hanging out for a while, the lay-out is nice for either quick stop-ins or to sit for a bit. Being new to the city, we had no idea who to call for good pizza, so I searched seamless.com for suggestions. I found Paris Pizza, and was happy to see that they delivered to the FiDi, which is not always easy to find. I asked for the pizza to be delivered by 5:45 pm, and it showed up at EXACTLY that time - in a Lincoln Continental, no less! The pizza was surprisingly good, too! We also had an order of mozzarella sticks, which must have been delicious because they were gone before I had a chance to taste them (thanks to my husband and son!). I'm not usually the type to give a negative review, but the pizza here was just not any good. We ordered a medium cheese and buffalo wings through seamless.com. Delivery took almost an hour but that was in line with the estimate they gave us so not a big deal. The pizza on the other hand was just awful. Bad crust that tasted pre-made topped with cheap sauce and even cheaper cheese. This is the type of pizza I remember eating in the 8th grade cafeteria. The wings were decent but nothing special. Overall I'm surprised by the positive rating on Yelp. I give it 1.5 stars since the wings were ok but I'm rounding down to 1 since this place is rated way too high in my opinion. read more

Avoid this place like a plague. I got a burger and asked for it to be medium rare. It was rubber. When complained they didn't care. Seriously? Plus the fries were soggy. I ordered delivery at 6:15pm on a Saturday night. The estimated delivery time I got was 7:27pm. I got the pizza at 7:41. That's almost an hour & half from the time I placed the order. My pizza was cold & soggy. The mozzarella sticks were cold & hard. Very disappointing. I ordered the pizza early to avoid busy hours. I don't understand why it took so long for them to deliver. I will remind myself to order from Pizza Hut next time. read more

I really wanted to like this place! Saw good reviews on Eat24 for the Bacon Burger so I ordered 2 with fries and an order of cheese sticks! Only one burger had bacon on it! I don't play about my bacon! + the patties tasted and looked like store bough frozen burger patties. Very bland, nothing special. I used their online ordering to deliver to a hotel I was staying at. Big mistake. After waiting the full 'estimated' time and not hearing anything, I contacted them to get status. Was told driver was on the way and would be there in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, they still weren't here so I called again and was told they are basically there. I waited some more time and they finally did arrive, but a full 30 minutes later than the long estimate. I understand being a bit late, but 30 minutes is a bit excessive. As far as food quality was, the pizza was actually pretty good. Good flavor and tasty sauce. The mozzarella cheese sticks were the standard pre-frozen and deep fried fare that I should have expected, but was a bit of a let down. We also had the tiramisu and it too was below expectations. Even with it being delivered 30 minutes later than expected, the tiramisu was still frozen in the middle by the time we finished the apps and main course. Obviously not fresh. Overall, it could have been a much better experience. I won't rate them at 1 star as I would recommend the pizza, but the rest of the meal and experience was below par. read more

I am surprised about the very negative reviews of Lagos, but I guess everybody can have a bad day. Since Lagos opened, we have always chosen to get our pizza there. We always get a whole pizza, so I can't speak of how the slices or the lasagna etc. are. The whole pizzas are absolutely delicious. The crust is super, plenty of toppings, and the dough is rolled in thick semolina flour just before baking which gives an extra crisp taste - we just love it!! On top of that we like the service we get from the owner, who works almost 24/7 as far as we can tell. Only once have we been services by someone else than him, and then the service was not as high - but the food was still great. I warmly recommend this great local place with good clean food made by hardworking people. read more
