We called to ask what the hold up was, and the man who picked up the phone said it was already here, and hung up. When the food arrived, it was either cold or luke warm. My fries were legitimately cold, like they had been lightly chilled before delivery. One of the pizzas ordered had the note above on the box. That blows my mind, wouldn't it take more time to find paper, and write the note? Doesn't the pizza guy have a pizza cutter closer to him, than he does a pen and paper? Food quality: I ordered the Chicken Philly and fries.The icy cold fries were straight out of a Costco bag. The Chicken Philly was garbage, bread wasn't toasted, poorly spiced. It wasn't raw though, so I guess that's good. Heard from my coworkers that the pizzas (cut or uncut) weren't bad though. Wouldn't go through the trouble if there's other options available. Ordered a pizza with chicken in it. Pizza was not cooked, to the point where the dough didn't hold together - it was falling apart! The chicken wasn't cooked all the way through! I called to complain.. first time, the guy said he'd get the manager... and hung on me. The next time, the manager asked me "So what do you want us to do about it?" and I told him I wanted my money back - hung up on me. I called again... he said he'd make a note and send the driver over, but they didn't take down any details... so I doubt they're actually going to come by. We wanted to get something to eat at home after a long night.. and finally at 1:45am (order placed almost an hour before that), the last thing you want to deal with is uncooked chicken and dough. Even now, I doubt I'm going to get my money back, but it isn't even about that - we're just hungry and we want something to eat!! Sigh. If you want something edible, don't go here. Absolutely pathetic excuse for an establishment. I ordered pizza through this company online. There was a one hour delivery time, which seemed a bit long since it was Sunday and nearly 11:00PM. Nonetheless we waited. Wellllllll, the food never came. EVER. We did however receive an email that the Paris Pizza 'attempted' to deliver our food. However, the doorbell was never rang and my phone was never called. Maybe they attempted to deliver our food by throwing it at the front door? I was expecting some crazy West African take on pizza because when I see the word "Lagos," I immediately think of Lagos, Nigeria, and of Sam Olukoya, Free Speech Radio News's intrepid West African reporter. I absolutely love that guy. Sadly, it seems to be an Italian place. Or maybe it is owned or was started by West Africans, but it strikes me as very par for the course in a North Beach way, and while that's OK, I guess, it doesn't excite my late-night pizza-ordering imagination. I know very little about Nigerian politics, so I'm not necessarily going to recommend that Lagos Pizza names a pizza or a calzone or an entree after him, but if your president's named Goodluck Jonathan, don't you kind of have to mention that somewhere? I can't get into this place. Yes, the chicken panini was pretty good. That was only a third of our order. We also ordered two ten piece wings that we drastically over cooked to the point they were dried out on the inside. I struggle to give even two stars. To send food out of a small business in this condition is just very bad for business. It was 10pm when our delivery got to our hotel, so between us and the kids we shared the chicken panini. Stopped by for a quick slice during a long walk around the city. Yum! I almost never order pizza with chicken on it (find the chicken gets dried out), but not here. BBQ chicken pizza was delicious! Stopped by during the crowded North Beach Festival and this was an enclave of serene and responsive hospitality. The signage beckoned us to enter into the Mexican paradise this is named after (not Nigeria, as most people assume), and the pizza was hot & fresh. These brothers have a Halal sign outside of their pizza place. I was happy to eat there some burgers during ramadan when I have to fast. I came to this place in the early morning and ordered for burger. Then , I started talking to the guy and suddenly i'd understand that they dont serve anything halal. No burgers , no wings , no meat pizza. Then I got mad , because the place has a halal sign outside which calls some kind of customers who does not eat other kind of meat . At 3am this place is a 5 star choice, few others are open... maybe the pizza place next door and Milan Pizza. The pizza if ordered is fresh but nothing to brag to your friends about. Perfect to manage your blood alcohol level. The slices under the heat lamps have probably been there a while but if your buzzed you won't care and even if perfectl sober you will enjoy. Updated preface/background: I used to eat more than average in terms of quantity (I've eaten 2 Chipotle Burritos in one sitting) but now I am more focused on quality and am always looking for a great deal (read: value). Came to SF on a Sunday night, walked out to Broadway as was recommended by the person I was staying with - found Lagos around 9:00pm and ordered a slice of supreme pizza for $3.50. For the money, it was a great deal. It was warm, crunchy and tasty, the cheese was chewy, and the toppings tasted good, but not necessarily super fresh. It's a really informal spot with a guy behind the counter taking orders, so it's a quick walk in, order, eat, and walk out spot. Layout/size/space-wise, it reminds me of some of the smaller spots up in NYC (Mahmoun's or 2 Bros Pizza). Overall, it was a great slice of pizza, and for $3.50, I will definitely come back when I'm craving pizza and I'm in the area. read more

This place is good for a quick bite to eat, but I don't think that I could ever make this my go to pizza place, mainly because North Beach has so many higher quality pizza joints available within walking distance. The prices are average and so are the pizzas, they have all the basic varieties that you could find anywhere else like Hawaiian and Combination, but their flavor blends tend to be very bland and not very memorable. Although I wouldn't make this my first choice, i'd definitely use this place as a pit stop in between pub crawls to soak up some liquor. read more
