Visiting San Francisco and came across this place before venturing out to explore Fisherman's Wharf. The restaurant is located at Pier 43 and the food was horrible to say the least based on the amount of money spent. The restaurant offers validation for parking, great spot to park if you want to walk down to Pier 39 and the wharf. Food was delicious and for a great price. I came in expecting a decent meal and some basic service, especially given that this place is located at Fisherman's Wharf--a busy, iconic tourist destination. The real issue is with management. There simply weren't enough employees working to handle the amount of people coming in. We were seated and completely forgotten. No one checked on us, no one asked how our food was, and believe it or not, we were never even brought water. That is basic, minimum service. The food? Extremely mid. Nothing had flavor, nothing stood out, and it wasn't worth the price or the wait. For a place in such a high-traffic, competitive area, the food should be at least memorable. It wasn't even close. My disappointment was that I didn't even get offered water. This is a great spot so they really should take advantage of it. Ironically the mustard was more flavorful than my sandwich. About three hours later without eating anything else I experienced projectile vomit caused by food poisoning. This happened at 3pm yesterday, finally feeling normal again.
