I've had the same style of manicure last a month with no chipping and every pedicure I've ever gotten lasting at least a month before showing wear. I paid $135+tip and I will not be returning. My nails were cut short on purpose for my 2 week traveling vacation so there really wasn't much to for my nails. Still, i was repeatedly asked what shape I preferred. (none? It's so short there's no rounding or squaring possible) I was skeptical watching how my cuticles were trimmed without being pushed back first, and the buffing was very uneven. Polish was also rushed IMO because some sides of the nails looked sheer. A quick drying top coat was added and that was it. I expected my manicure to last more than a few days, but by the 3rd day almost every nail was chipped about 1/8". Considering I wasn't doing anything beyond showers and walking around the city (vacay = no washing dishes, cooking, laundry, tinkering, or typing) I feel badly for my partner who went all out to plan a full day of pampering for my birthday. I didn't want to mention it, but he noticed the chips and apologized for not knowing a better place to get a mani pedi. Lesson learned! There are tons of nail salons on Newbury St so we'll need to check them out on our next trip.
