Came here for brunch with a friend and knew we were in for a good time when I saw their $9 unlimited mimosa deal. They served the mimosas in wine glasses, not champagne flutes so you're getting your money's worth. I would say the mimosas and the excellent service were the best parts of the meal. A group of friends and I got together today for an UYE on the fifth to plead well, the fifth at brunch! I only have been in the late hours and decided to check it out during the early hours this time. The brunch is ridiculously great. On Saturdays, they don't have the two hour block like how they do on Sundays. We weren't rushed there and it was quite nice to have some mimosas with as much champagne as we wanted. The restaurant seated us all together at one table and it wasn't insane with the outer crowd. We ordered off of the brunch menu and it included the option of bottomless mimosas or/and Bloody Mary's. I stuck with the mimosas and the champagne bottles were available for us to pour at our own consumption along with the orange juice, of course. The jelly doughnuts were filled with sweet jam and it was sugared nicely. They made a nice starter and they were gone fast. But let's get on to the chicken and waffles. HOT DAMN. The chicken was fried perfectly. It wasn't too greasy or overdone. The cornbread waffles were delicious and it came with homemade butter and maple butter syrup. It was probably one of the best ones I've ever had and that's saying a lot since I'm picky when it comes to this dish. Our waiter kept our table full of drinks and food when it was ready. Even though there were times I was looking for him to get something, I didn't sweat it since it was a little busy and he always came around within a reasonable amount of time. The tab was broken up into separate checks for all of us and didn't give us a hard time about it. Everyone seem happy with their meal and it was all in good fun. What else went on? So when I sat down in a PRIME shaded location, and was offered $12 BOTTEMLESS Bloody Mary's and Mimosas ($9 bottomless for just mimosas) HOT DAMN, was I excited. Started off with a spicy bloody, while the server brought us a whole bottle of sparkling wine in a chilled bucket to the table, so we were set up for mimosas the next round. Our server made sure our glasses were always full and took such great care of us while the bf and I finished the 1 bottle worth of mimosas...ok, you got me we had 2 bottles. The menu hoists the usual brunch favorites like chicken and waffles and good old fashioned eggs and bacon. I, however went for the breakfast pizza. Park Tavern is a great spot on Atlantic Ave if you're in the mood for classic American comfort food! I always forget to take pics of my food because it is so yummy I typically dive right in! The burgers are decent, love the wedge salad, and the tater tots are my faaave (great app to start with for something quick if you are super hungry upon arrival!) Also not sure what sorcery they use to make their ranch but I would gladly put it on pretty much everything (the tots and fries mainly though lol) The Mules are great, and the happy hour selection for food and drinks is phenomenal! read more

Went for brunch. I'm glad we made a reservation because it was very busy. The hostess was very nice, we were promptly seated. We ordered oysters to start with, the French toast & shrimp + grits. The French toast was delicious. A very simple & traditional item but it had this fabulous cream sauce with it that reminded me of Creme brûlée. The portion size was big. The shrimp dish was okay. Large, juicy shrimp but it lacked flavor and the portion was small. The oysters were good, other than 2 out of 6 of them had shell pieces in it. That was unfortunate. The bloody Mary's were tasty, a bit on the spicy side but still good. I enjoyed the atmosphere here. Not much outdoor seating so make sure to request this when you make a reservation. Our server was nice, but didn't confidently know about the menu. I'm a stickler when it comes to service because I used to wait tables for many years & when a server only has 3 tables they should be able to provide you with good/great service. I'm always understanding when a restaurant is busy and the server makes the effort to come over & let you know, ask you if they can get you anything, etc. I my opinion: Good service with ok food can make the experience Great. Bottom line: I would come here again. But not the best brunch I've had in Delray. Special note: I liked how the restaurant called us the following day to see how our experience was. I came here on a Sunday for a friend's birthday brunch. He had made reservations outside for about 15 people. We got a large table right by the hostess stand so it was kind of busy on the end but it wasn't overly annoying. There's a bunch of riff raff in Delray and you'll get a front row seat here. That's besides the point though. The restaurant got quite busy as the time went on. Our reservation was for 12:30 pm and I arrived just after everyone had placed their drink orders. A lot of people at the table ordered Mimosas so a few minutes later our server came back with a few bottles of champagne and a small carafe of OJ to pour your own. The bottles were flowing throughout the brunch even though some of the people at the table ordered Bloody Mary's or other $5 cocktails. If you're here for the drinks, it's a killer deal. Alternately, if you're here for the food, you better hope you don't have any dietary restrictions. I had posted a question ahead of time since this restaurant is listed as having vegan options although, there were no vegan options on the menu, everything had to be customized. Despite this, our server was more than willing to accommodate. One of the other girls was gluten and dairy intolerant so she came back with an allergen/ingredient list from the kitchen. She let us know that pretty much everything had dairy and/or eggs besides the homemade chips and plain strawberries. My friend with the intolerance ordered a small side salad that the server had customized along with the Avocado Toast (minus toast, minus egg, sub tomato). It came out quite interesting. I on the other hand had to end up ordering the Avocado Toast as well, sub extra Avo for the egg. She also brought some of the chips out for my son and said there was no charge because they come with the dip anyways. Those were some damn good chips and the Avo toast was actually quite good. This was my second time here and both times the food has been great, but the service has been very poor. I was with a group which didn't really allow the opportunity to photo the food, but it was quite tasty. The PT Cheesesteak was delicious with a slight hint of spice from the jalapeño slices and with excellent bread. This sandwich feeds two easily. My wife enjoyed a massive Chopped Salad that was chocked full of fresh veggies, avocado slices, and lightly spiced corn nuts. The fish tacos are also quite tasty, as is the extremely generous portion of fish and chips served with malt vinegar and wrapped in newspaper. Likewise, the cut 432 Mini Burgers are amply portioned and were well enjoyed by others at our table. The food was great. However, the service was seriously lacking. First, the $5 menu offered for inside seating was refused for patio seating. This was strange and not reflective of guest-forward thinking. Secondly, we had to seek out our waiter to get water and drinks refilled, again for a salt shaker, and a third time to ask to pay the check. With better policies and wait staff this could be a 5 star place. read more

Visited Park Tavern on a recent trip to Florida. This seems to be one of the more popular restaurants along the main avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. We didn't make a reservation but since my friend and I were only grabbing drinks we were able to find seating at the bar. We visited during COVID times and I'm sad to say this restaurant was not taking precautions in spacing out patrons or checking temperatures for people visiting Park Tavern. We both had several cocktails and shared their pretzel bites which were really tasty and great for sharing with a friend.
