Caleb, I hope they got his name right, came out and was able to trouble shoot the challenge and come up with a quick, efficient, affordable solution to get the AC back up and running. I was traveling and could not assist my parents, they felt like Caleb was part of the family, very professional and solution oriented. These people don't know up from down! Had 2 scheduled appointments they didn't show up for either. I called both times and they told me I had a scheduled appointment for a different day... which I didn't make, I said FINE to that day. Guess what! They show up a day early when I'm not there!!! I call again they say ok we can do that time the next day, then call me back and then say they their time is 15 days later!!!! Do not recommend these people are idiots. read more

Alex, Marcos, Hunter and Walter - along with the other techs from Parker and Sons that have serviced my AC have always done right by me. Parker and Sons is not always the cheapest option out there but the work is always done right the first time and the customer service experience is second to none here in Phoenix. So the issue with Parker and sons is the cost- whatever you *think* your estimate will be, triple it. From HVAC, to plumbing- electrical... they are just over the top expensive. Yes, the service and techs are too notch and generally spending a bit more for quality is the correct thing to do. So this review is NOT about those techs, it's about the corporate price structure. Alas, this is like buying a Bentley when the end result is the same as a Honda. There is zero reason to spend so much more when there are plenty of companies who do work that is equally good for considerably less. There are companies that charge reasonable (not cheap) prices that don't make you feel like you've been bent over. If you have money to burn- call Parker and sons. Amazing service! From the first step, doing the estimate, Dennis was a hero! During install, Travis, Lorenzo, Sergio, Diego, all were extremely professional, very fast finishing the installation (well under the estimated time), answered all of my crazy questions, and our home is cool again, all the vents are blowing crazy hard, couldn't be happier! There were a few issues that occurred with the install, but everything was made right. Very happy.

We needed a reverse osmosis system installed sooner than later. Parker and Sons came out quickly and presented me with my options...with no pressure and no tricks and gimmick. I appreciate greatly that they were able to install the system quickly. The installer was friendly but focused and even swapped out a loose and leaking hot water line. I would recommend them and will use them again to install some carriage lights. read more

As a recently let go parker and sons employee, i'd like to take the opportunity to share some insight about how the company runs their "Business" Parker and sons is not a Mom and Pop shop anymore, it's corporately owned with share holders. Meaning if you're used to the feeling and attention from a small shop parker and sons doesn't offer it. When you dial in, no matter what button you press, you get a generic queue and get a rep that's trained in all departments but not specialized in that department. For example, if you dial the number for hvac, it'll be in the same queue as someone dialing in for plumbing. Next, the reps that you speak to's sole purpose is to get a tech to your door, they get paid based on how many appointments they set for you, and get commission based off of it. They also try hard to build value in their PFP or parker family plan, which is a complete scam, 13.99/mo or 153.89 per year, gets 2 AC visits and 10% off services. All the techs do, is jack up the price 10% only to discount it for members. you don't get any actual savings. Lastly, all of their departments over charge. When i was a rep working at the call center, our number one complaint was pricing. our tech's pricing is outrageous, double even triple charging for basic things. We use a system called Service Titan, and a dialer called Dialpad, a program that scalps your number and tells us whether or not your an existing customer and or a member. Based on this information we formulate a sales pitch to offer you services you either haven't used yet or if you're brand new all of our different trades. Most notably the solar department, which isn't even an in house department, it's a 3rd party contractor and installer. Last but not least. Their #1 in Arizona for however many years is a complete lie. Yes they technically are #1 by votes but the majority of votes, come from employee's families, they hold contests every year when voting time comes around and offer cash prizes to employee's families who votes the most. It's not truly won from the customers. Overall, id find a smaller shop that does things cheaper and has a better handle on things, these guys will do everything to squeeze every last penny out of you before they give you any kind of breathing room. We are in the process of purchasing a new home and needed an HVAC professional to come evaluate our system and we had a very narrow window to do it. I knew, because we are having very hot weather, that getting someone to respond would be a challenge. Of the four or so businesses I called, only Parker & Sons could schedule us for the evaluation we needed. Additionally, they were very professional and calm and respectful. When Hunter and his side-kick (I'm sorry I don't recall his name) arrived, they went right to work and were able to provide us with their findings and offer expert advice as well. Called to have my HVAC serviced scheduled online for appointment today between 2-6pm. Talked with John he was confused and kept arguing with me that someone showed up and already sent me an invoice and completed a job. After telling John multiple times no one showed up!!! I don't care what your notes are saying or that an "invoice" was completed NO ONE SHOWED !! I have cameras everywhere why would I call and lie to tell you no one showed up???! And you tell me your notes say an invoice was completed ??? Seriously! I got one phone call from 602 330-3509 called them back because they left no voicemail or text. They didn't answer . Normal jobs give the 30 minute window and still show up even after customer doesn't answer. All I wanted to know was an estimated time they would show and if it was going to be towards 6pm I wanted to reschedule because I rather have someone here when it isn't dark outside looking at the unit! John was supposedly confused now and was going to call back. I also asked to speak to a supervisor John said he " Does it all, so why do I need a supervisor " and refused to get me a supervisor. I called Parker & Sons for and estimate on my water pressure gauge and to look at my water heater. Danny Voica came over and talked to me in a way I was able to understand. He gave me a great price for everything and I said just do it. He did an outstanding job explained everything to me and I am very happy. I called the office to let them know what a great job Danny did and Dean Parker who I spoke with was fantastic as well. I wanted to sign up for their service plan. Met with a sales rep at the Scottsdale Costco. He briefed me on the savings and initiatives available through both Costco and Parker & Sons. Scheduled a meeting with rep at home to discuss my issues with a single stage system currently installed. Performed all the heat/ cooling calcs and suggested some options. This has been on of the best experiences I have had with a heating and cooling company. Installers (Aaron, Davonttay & Juan) showed up today ready to rock and roll! Our AC went out Thursday afternoon. We called and scheduled an appointment for the next day with them. I was charged $344.00 to change out a capasitor. He was at my home less than 45 minutes. The bill has no breakdown of parts, installation or service charge. I asked the technician how much the part was. He told me $344.00. I was perplexed. I have 2 units and asked how difficult it was to replace this on my own. He deceived me and told me not to touch it as would disrupt my ac unit running properly and would require the unit to be completely reset by a technician. read more

I recently joined back up with Parker and Sons for my A/C Heating and Plumbing. I was able to do this because they allow you to request certain techs that you work well with. I ask for Daniel for my A/C. He is a nice young man who is thorough and courteous. I left Parker and Sons a couple of years ago due to a negative experience with a tech. I understand he is no longer with the company and as mentioned I discovered that I can request a tech of my choice. I will always be asking for Daniel. read more

I called Parker and Sons for an estimate on two problems. One was just to switch out the spout in our downstairs bathtub. The second was a bigger issue. We had a leaky upstairs tub that leaked through the downstairs ceiling. We showed the serviceman the bathtub spout and without even having a look he quoted us $544 to change it out. I repeated the amount and he said that's correct then he added he doesn't set the prices. Well, that being said we didn't even have him look at the other problem. We were at least happy that they didn't hit us with a service charge. We ultimately brought in a small plumbing company who did both jobs. It took the guy about four hours of work and he charged us $665 total for both issues. BTW he had the spout changed out in less than ten minutes. read more

One star. They're more of a sales org than a service company. Most homeowners who do not know how their systems work and are at the mercy of the so-called "tech". My experiences with them are they try to sell them new products, unnecessary accessories and warranties. My wife has been led to believe by these guys that we needed a special "________" for our AC or a new _____ for the heater... Only to tell me a totally different story when I question them on the specifics and the issues. And when another expert is consulted? The add ons and services touted by Parker and Son's were unnecessary. This company seems to incentivize their employees to sell stuff rather than offer service and as such, I do not believe that offer an honest service. Caveat Emptor! read more

However, they told us we were in charge of getting inspected which was not true then they said they would take care of it and completely missed the appointment. Parker & Sons replaced the AC unit in our rental property in Phoenix. Since the unit was not functioning properly, we needed a tech quickly and they arrived by the end of the day (they were contacted mid afternoon). Technician Edgar was very knowledgeable and professional. It was determined a new unit was needed to replace the old one. That unit was installed 2 days later. Amazing turn around! An old AC unit was not holding a charge. Got a couple of estimates for replacing the unit. Their estimate was comparable to other estimates I got but included a 10 year warranty for labor, which the others didn't. They promised to have it installed within two days, which they did. The guys who did the install were very nice and professional. All the debris from the old AC unit was cleaned up and removed. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that an electrician from their company came out and tried to convince me that I needed to replace the guts of my two electrical boxes. This had nothing to do with the install, it was just a significant upsell. Subsequentially I had my local electrician check my boxes and confirm the work was not necessary. read more

We've purchased 2 high end units for our home in the last 3 years through them...they're great when it comes to sales and they will sell you on paying for their monthly "family plan" but when your unit fails a year after installation in the extreme heat of July it does you NO GOOD. We've had multiple problems with the installation of both units. We've been without air all week and continue to get pushed back day after day, and if we use another AC company it voids our warranty. We've called local companies that could get to us sooner but we can't use them so we are stuck and miserable. I have been waiting for annual air conditioning service for 4 weeks and I received a text saying that they were not able to make the scheduled appointment. I called to reschedule and it is now a 6 week wait. I asked to have a manager call me and they have not responded for a week. What is the point of paying an annual maintenance fee if they will not service your AC system within a reasonable time of the request? Don't! read more

We had a new HVAC system installed along with 10" of insulation. The technicians (all of them!) patiently answered all our questions, and made sure we knew how to work the new system before they left. There was some damage to the attic entry, so the job site manager scheduled the drywall department to come out. The damage was repaired to our satisfaction. The company also cleaned up after themselves. We feel we received good value for our money, especially with all the customer service involved. read more

Spent $15k+ on a unit 2yrs ago through Costco. So far it has been a poor experience and feels like a scam. We have every service, part, and labor warranty yet we are charged $600+ for a cleaning. If we don't go with the tech's up sell they will not replace our under warranty parts. Now the unit has stopped working all together. Im told we are such a priority at p&s that it will be two days til we have a tech. Avoid parker and sons. read more

one AC unit went out on a Sat night..called their service. Was told someone would contact us around midnight, then be out. No call, no service. Called the next morning. Again the answering service told us to call back when offices opened at 7:30AM, which we did. Sydney from Parker and Sons very helpful, polite, professional. Said a tech would be out Tuesday, their soonest opening. Did not hear anything Tues morning, so called Parker office at noon...was told we were on the schedule and someone would be there shortly. Tech did call around 2PM, said he was close by. Tech was polite, efficient, explained problem thoroughly, helpful. So appears they have some issues with their after hours service....but in dealing with parker directly, their office and their techs, all is good and am happy. read more

I needed to add square footage to my home to accommodate my daughter & grandkids who could no longer afford to pay rent in a nice area. We needed to move quickly & decided the best option would be a garage conversion. We started talking to numerous independent contractors. It was quite a time consuming & daunting task. We were discouraged & confused by the bids and promises. Decided we would just play sub-contractor & manage the project ourselves. The first thing we did was insulate the attic & we hired Parker & Sons to do the job. During a conversation with them, I found out about the new division at the company specifically for garage makeovers. Long story short; we hired Parker & Sons & I'm extremely satisfied & amazed at how great my new living space came out. I can only praise all the workers who were all professional & friendly plus they did a beautiful job. Special thanks to Todd who came out everyday to check on the progress & was super easy to talk to & work with. This is my favorite room in the house. You would never know this room used to be full of dirty junk and cars. I plan on other upgrade projects in my home & I will be calling my friends & new family at Parker & Sons to do the work. read more

Nothing but costly headaches since day 1! I have been dealing with Parker & Sons for 2 years. I chose the "Cadillac" model and paid the highest price for the most advanced variable speed HVAC system on the market in 2022. They assured me that the difference in HVAC companies lies in the installation phase. When the installers were through, they had put at least 2 holes in my drywall, cut out a vent in an existing wall that wasn't needed, and did it 4x the amount of time they said it would take. Further, all my monthly electric bills increased, despite the claim by P&S that such an expensive unit would save me money in the long run. To their credit, they compensated me on the damages with the dollar amount I asked for. However, with such an expensive unit and in order to keep the so-called life-time guarantee in effect, I am required to have a tune-up performed by P&S annually. Less than 2 years in operation, the step-down control board needed replacement. P&S came out and replaced the needed part, albeit with much complaing and continuous phone calls to get them to move on it. When Hector, the Tecnician came out, he explained that a $500 surge protector could be the answer to future isues I might have with such an expensive AC condenser. I agreed with the purchase and later had my personal electrician tell me it was not needed. No big deal, but I asked Hector to show me what services he had performed, and he offered photos and a break-down of the work that was done. When I examined the report and asked questions about the before and after work that was done, Hecto said he was in the field and would email me the details when he got back to the office. When he got back to the office, I callled again and he said he was busy with emergency calls. No problem; I told him to get back to me. He called a day or two later and said he was going on vacation and would call me the following week. No problem. But no call from him prompted a call from me 2 WEEKS LATER! When I put his feet to the fire he confessed that he had no data as he previously claimed and that that was the end of my service call. I asked him why he took photos with no/invalid data of the work performed, and he replied it was normal procedure for P&S. When I attempted to print out the photos and send a complaint back to P&S management, the photo bank strangely could not be retrieved online. I asked to have them sent again, but I have received nothing. When I asked my electrician why such a highly advertised company would charge so much and deliver so little, he replied it was all a matter of salemanship, and revenue generated was needed to pay for TV commercials. After dealing with two questionable mechanical service companies who failed to help with my AC issues, I tried Parker & Sons. The technician was on-time, friendly, professional. I explained the problem, and he patiently listened to my explanation and what I had already done to try fix it. He gave me valuable feedback as to what is likely causing the problem, and just as valuable to me, why it could not be caused by numerous other potential causes. He gave me valuable insight into what to do to fix the issue (since it's intermittent it could not be replicated during the visit) and what to do to verify the issue if it happens again. So far his recommendations appear to be working, but if not, he gave me a plan of action to verify if it is indeed the thermostat. The best part is, because he didn't have to do an extensive inspection of my system, he offered his advice and the visit free of charge. I will say that when I do have to call a professional again for service or replacement, I will always call Parker & Sons first. Sorry if others say they have had a bad experience, but my experience with them (especially compared with the other two companies I've dealt with) was above and beyond what I expect for how a company should treat its customers and I will only trust them with my HVAC system in the future. read more

Came home one night to a hot water heater sprinkling water out of the pipes leading to the heater. I shut off the water, went inside, and looked up plumbers. Parker & Sons was the first to pop up so I put in for an afternoon appointment the next day so I could at least go to work in the morning. Just as I was leaving work, I received a call from Joshua that he was close to my house and was ready to look at the unit. He was very professional and gave me options regarding which unit to install as a replacement, the pros/cons of each unit, and which upgrades were available. He also noted the mold on the drywall and called in a mold remediation service to inspect for me. Less than an hour after signing my contract with Joshua, Thomas showed up with my new water heater. He worked very quickly and had it installed in no time. He then carefully walked me through the maintenance process for me. I can't comment on their prices as I didn't shop around - but in terms of showing up on time, communicating well with regard to when they would be there and how long it would take to do the work, and providing me with the information I needed to make the right decision - they were first rate. read more
