I have always had good experiences with customer service- From my initial phone call to my appointments. I want to give a shout out to: Richard Howell: My Electrician who did work on my Electric panel He explained everything to me- took photo's- gave me option of things to be done etc... Richard was very patient & answered all my questions. Darrell Yazzie: My HVAC technician who did my inspection. He also took photo's- explained the condition of my HVAC unit. Darrell was very thorough in his inspection & he was also very patient answering my questions Jessy Escalona & Diego: They were my installers for my New HVAC unit I was very impressed how they took care in using several Tarps to cover my flooring- stairs- Hallways . Being my attic is in my bedroom - they covered my bed with Plastic wrap to avoid any dust / debris from getting on anything. It is a very detailed job & they were very Professional. When they completed the job- they explained the use of my new unit / Thermostat in Detail & also answered all my questions. I have always had good experiences with P & S. I will continue to use them. I recently had a lot of work done by Parker and overall I was very impressed. I had a full home rewire and my lead electrician and PM was Liam. He was excellent. The project finished ahead of schedule and the results were great. There were a few minor issues I didn't notice until a couple days later and Liam was out personally the next day to fix all of them. Cons: the drywall repair teams quit was over 3x a normal drywall company. I'd recommend Greg Professional Home Improvement for that kind of work. Their quote for a water heater replacement was very pricy. I bought the water heater myself and had them install it. This was a much better value. I highly recommend going that way. read more

I give 1 star to the equipment that was installed in our home, a water softener. After just four years, without high water pressure or any other foreseeable risk, the container sprung a leak and drained the water out to the street. In the repair process, the connector pieces that enable the system to be in service or in bypass mode leaked. We had three separate service calls to get this addressed. The 1 star is for poor materials. Parker & Sons should consider more durable materials to install. However, biggest praise for Tony the technician. He deserves a 5+ rating as a most caring, dedicated, and knowledgeable professional. He came out to the house three times, at great personal inconvenience, to make sure the system works and to teach us how to operate it in crisis mode. Tony is the best. read more

When repairs are needed I don't even hesitate to call Parker and Sons. They have my AC, Plumbing and Electrical business for 2 residences I own. From the first phone call to the after the job is completed follow up this is a company that is run like the most important thing to them is INTEGRITY first. After all, the OWNERS name is at stake. The professional demeanor and appearance of all the technicians I've dealt with has been one of COMMUNICATION. I've never felt as though I was "being sold" but rather what is most important in the long run for my two biggest financial investments that are these homes. I've used other companies initially when I bought 12 years ago but everytime I was wondering if the job was really done well. With Parker and Sons..... it would be amazing if it wasn't. The jobs are done by techs who know their business and are able to give you options on the repairs. My most recent electrical job wasn't cheap. ID BE WORRIED IF IT WAS. The night before I was to fly out of state, my AC quit working. I had a friend here to stay with my dogs while I was gone. I checked the breakers, shut all the thermostats off, then back on, and after a short while, the AC came back on. I called several companies who ALL say they are 24/7 service. ALL of them told me they don't have anyone coming in until 7:00 am. Sorry....that's not 24/7 service. I chose Parker and Sons because they come out for maintenance twice a year for me. When the tech contacted me, I was on my way to the airport. He told me he found a burnt contactor. He recommended replacing the contactor and tried to upsell something else to the tune of over $1200.00. I said no to the upsell...this AC is only five years old but just went out of warranty. Because I had someone there, I authorized to replace to contactor since I was about to board a plane. They charged me $503.00 for this. A contactor is a few dollars at best...the rest was labor...what a total rip off. When I got back, I called the company and asked for a breakdown of the charges and was told they don't do that. Then I asked to talk to the next level of customer service or a supervisor and was told they don't have a next level of customer service to talk to. They have one more maintenance visit and they will no longer have my business. We have been with this company for years. But within the last couple of years, we have noticed a big change. Last summer, when our air conditioning wasn't working, we were told we'd have to wait two days before someone could come out when all is said and done it was five days and it was over 110°. I cut him some slack for that as I assumed it was a busy time of year. Now, I made an appointment for them to come out to service my air conditioning today. Six hours later, they're still not here, and I've given up. I have been a member of the family plan which they have collected money from me every single month. I'm done. I highly recommend that if you read my review you consider a different company. Unfortunately, that's the way it is today. But there are other companies in this valley that I can use. Beware. My husband and I bought a retirement home in Sun City about three weeks ago. Before we realized our situation was covered under our home warranty, we contacted Parker and Sons to come and give us and estimate to replace two toilets, and a valve on the shower. Their name was listed in the brochure given to us by our real estate agent for local services. Well, their total came to FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was appalled. This is why so many senior citizens do without. It is hard enough to manipulate through the world of electronics and apps, constantly worried of Identity theft, scams and being taken advantage of. When you call for help and allow them into your home (Safe place) and they try to rip off our elders, is totally unamerican. After the gentleman listen my anger and rant, he left, and soon after, I received an email for customer service rating. I basically said the same as I have typed here, but a man then called me and continued to try and convince me what a great deal it was, and they only use their chosen brand of toilets, best warranty ect ect. I listened for a few minutes and then told him I had flipped several houses in my day, and no way it cost that much. Nothing he said could change my mind. At retirement age, I do not need a toilet to last 75 years!! The BBB need to be aware of this company, and so do all you seniors out there who need this type of service!!!!! I'm going to leave a negative review and I can tell you right now, judging from past negative reviews for these jokers, you're going to see a canned response from them replying to me that says something like: Hello Scott! We can't find a record for you because of one of the following reasons: a) you are using an alias on Yelp b) your spouse booked the call c) you did not book a call with us d) something got lost in the matrix So, I'll tell all of your right now that my spouse booked the call and she is the one who set up the estimate for this business. Not me. I am not using an alias on Yelp. This is my real name. I am a Yelp Elite member and this is my real profile. Yes, my wife booked the estimate. No, I did not book the call. My wife did. Nothing got "lost in the matrix". Any viable business that needs to use the word "matrix" as an excuse as to why they're receiving a negative review, well, common sense should prevail to you as the consumer. We asked them to give us an estimate on a water heater replacement and an estimate for a water softener. Let's start with the water softener nerd first, shall we? This dude comes out to our house last Friday and we're expecting him like any normal business to give us some literature, see that our house is barely 1,300 sq. feet and write us a quick estimate. Nope. The dude tells us WHY we need a water softener (we're in Arizona, genuis. We called you because we KNOW we need a water softener). He goes into the history of the water quality here in Arizona, discusses the water process in the city of Phoenix and basically proceeds to write a book for my wife and I. 90-minutes later, we finally had to interrupt this dude and tell him we did not expect a slideshow and Powerpoint presentation on the molecular structure of the water quality in Phoenix. Tell us the dollar figure and GTFO. He spouted off some bullshit answer of $8,200 and after basically laughing in his ass, we escorted him out our front door. Horrible waste of our time and his. Called (3) other viable businesses here in Arizona. Got three QUICK estimates for water softener systems and are having one installed next week which is basically 70% cheaper than these losers. Next, they were supposed to be here two weeks ago to do an estimate for our water heater replacement. We got the typical bullshit time estimate between 10a - 2p. 20-minutes to 2 o'clock the dude calls and says he's not coming. LOLOLOL. We re-schedule for last week. He finally waddles up the driveway and looks at our water heater and says the whole thing is "out of code". He says in order to replace it, he would need to install a bunch of other bullshit like pour a new foundation and install a new roof and add on another bedroom to our home in order to get this water heater replaced. He quoted us $3,000. LOLOLOLOL. First of all, we just bought this house three years ago and since we had one of the top, most prominent home inspectors in the Valley do our home inspection, I would think he would have mentioned the fact that "our entire water heater system is out of code." So just for shits and giggles, I called our home inspector back to our house since he lives near by and got two other water heater estimates from other viable businesses here in the Valley. I told the home inspector that Parker & Sons said the whole water heater system is out of code. He quite literally laughed out loud and said that he's heard nothing but horrible things about their shady business practices and has no idea what they're talking about. He assured me no part of our water heater system is "out of code". I thanked him for his time and assumed that was the case. Next, we had two other local business come out and give us estimates to have our water heater replaced. We got a Rheem PRO with a 9-year warranty installed yesterday by a local business for $985. LOLOLOL. It was installed the same way and I have a contract and written receipt indicating nothing is "out of code". If you want to get ripped off and love having your time wasted, by all means - call Parker & Sons. It sounds like they're the right business for the job! So glad we didn't use them. Horrible experience do your research before you use them. Homedepot set up a visit with parker & Son for an install price for a water heater Joseph shows up to my home. I open the door, he introduces himself. He asked me if I wanted him to wear a mask. When I was told they would show up in a mask and shoe coverings guess not. I told him no since he was already at the door, To come in and give me a price. After 10 minutes or so looking at my water heater and asking questions. The prices begin and of course he started with the most expensive. When I was interested in the most expensive and questioning why things got added for example ( a thermal expansion tank) I was told its mandatory. I found out later on from another plumbing company it was not. When Joe realizes he was not going to up sell me, I made it clear that I will be returning to homedepot to make my purchase. He started to bad mouth homedepot. How he hears about the poor customer service they provide along with false information. Also that the pricing that he is giving me, that information doesn't go to the store. After several minutes of back and forth arguing. I asked him to leave my home and I will work with homedepot thank you. As joe walks out he said good luck with your problem and laughed. Do your homework when it comes to Parker and Son they are crooks, they are not following CDC guidelines or safe practices, customer service is horrible. After calling a "reliable" company at double time cost without a repair being accomplished, we went to Home Depot & they contacted Parker & Sons. Later that day Josh came out, gave us an estimate for a new, upgraded, A/C unit. We accepted his offer (excellent) & at 7:30 the next day the technicians were at the house installing the new unit. I have used Parker and Sons in the past and this experience was also an outstanding customer service experience. I had two plumbing jobs scheduled and JoshuaQ kept me informed on his arrival time and actually showed up a bit earlier than scheduled. He surveyed the ttwo jobs, made a recommendation for a modification on the pressure valve, and then proceeded to professionally and quickly complete the jobs. DON'T BUY!!! I usually do not write reviews but my experience with parker and sons was so horrible that I had to share it. They installed a brand new HVAC unit for my house and the system randomly stops working for 3-4 hours everyday since the installation day due to compressor problem. After they sent a technician he said the problem should happen in front of me to be able to ask for repair/replacement. So they have not done anything to resolve the problem and I decided to return the unit. read more

Do your homework and read the reviews, is hindsight for us but wish we would have. After being with them for quite some time and paying $11 a month as part of their "family" plan we got took on up-sales on a part that wasn't even necessary and charged us over $600 for a $55 part. Our A/C needed some maintenance in Feb 2019 when we were advised we needed a Compressor starter kit and other items, we trusted them, fast forward to July 3rd A/C went out over $1300 later, a/c working again (which looked up after seeing invoice for replacement parts well under $200), then on July 8 a/c went out again! The afore mentioned compressor starter kit for over $600 apparently just stopped working and was quote a faulty item which kept compressor from kicking on and over 14 hours later to get someone out and tech was more than happy to want to sell us another one for $500 for a part that is not even needed to make the a/c run! I get that companies need to at least double the cost of products to make a profit, but over $600 for a $55 part is unethical. We have canceled our monthly "family" subscription and have emailed and sent letter to Parker and Sons over this practice. Given what we know now can only warn others to do your research. July 10th update: I received a call from Daniel at Parker and Sons today and we discussed my review. We both came out of it with better understanding of how their invoices relay to the customer what appears to be a price gouge on parts and he explained how their invoice process works of combining the labor and any parts prices together. I strongly encouraged Daniel to have invoices in terms that are better for the customers understanding of parts and labor as their current invoices only upset their customers as their are many of the same comments/complaints in different forums. read more

While trouble shooting a pressure issue with a kitchen fixture, James inspected the gas hot water heater in a storage closet within the house. It was there he discovered a missing pipe meant to carry out carbonmonoxide....Carbonmonoxide! I can only state the obvious. The hot water heater was I installed a couple years ago and our only saving grace is we keep that closet door closed all the time. That's why we're still hear today. Technicians pressure customers to buy unneeded equipment, replace systems prematurely, and secretly bleed off coolant so they can sell you very expensive refills. 1) Tech said we needed a "start assist kit" on our air conditioner to reduce power usage. In fact, the start-assist briefly INCREASES power usage to start the compressor. *And* it stresses the compressor that would lead to needing an earlier replacement. 2) Tech pumped 150% of system capacity coolant into an already working system -- this is impossible. Either he lied about the quantity, or he bled off what was there in order to refill it. Cost was close to $1000. When we complained, they verbally agreed to a partial refund, but the check did not arrive. Repeated calls got same promise and lack of action. Switched to different HVAC vendor who checked over system and pronounced it fine. More than a year has since passed including the hottest summer on record in Phoenix, and we are still cool and comfortable with the system Parker and Sons said would not last a month. Decades ago, the company was good, but for the past several years and through a couple of ownership changes, they've been taken over by crooks and shysters. read more

On September 11.2023, Parker and Sons installed a air /heat unit in our home. When they turned the unit on it was so loud we could not even hear the T.V. My husband and I told them that was way too loud. The techs said they would contact the salesman Michael P. Campbell. After 9 months and MANY CALLS to Michael Campbell, and many service calls, he called me and backstepped on the contract he gave us. My husband passed away in December and Michael had the disrespect of telling me what my husband agreed on. I know what he agreed on. Michael also changed the 2 year interest free to 1 year. Michael also said the Home Depot rebate card for $750.00 could be used toward the purchase of the unit , now he says it cannot be used for that. Michael or any other supervisor has ever been to our home to see about our complaint or to write off on this unit. I believe Michael P.Campbell sold us a unit not fit for our home and not sure if it was even new, we never seen any boxes for this unit. He took advantage of us because we are seniors and my husband was on oxygen, so he knew my husband was sick. This unit is still loud, it scares my grandsons so they will not use the bathroom by the unit. We have 1 month now and im sure Michael is waiting for our time is up and we are stuck with this. I have many calls into Parker and Sons to speak with a supervisor for months and no one has called untill 1 month ago when Michael called to tell me his bull. The techs are great except for their excuses why this is so loud. However, the supervisors that cannot follow up on a job or a phone call is worthless. Everyone I dealt with from Scott at the Costco kiosk, Carlos the tech (sales), and Joe & Donte the installers, were top-notch. Clean, thorough, professional and friendly. While they weren't the cheapest price, they included a 10-year labor warranty that no one else had. So glad I stopped at Costco and talked to Scott. It was a busy time in late July. All AC people were busy due to the high heat. Parker came out to do a scheduled maintenance, but their first tech was very green, and misdiagnosed the problem. It took about a week to get a qualified tech back out, and verify it was a bad compressor. Because we had been a Parker customer for a long time, one of their managers contacted us and made us a very good deal on a complete system replacement. Unfortunately, the install crew made some mistakes on the thermostat and related wiring, so it took about a week To get the system finally up and running. During that time, I had another company come out and bypass Parker's wiring, to get the system running for a couple days. Parker did step up, and finally replaced the wiring and thermostat on the new system, and refunded the money paid to other AC company. The system has been running fine for a couple weeks since then. read more

Service is sub par. They don't honor their deals that they advertise. They constantly cancel your appointments that have been scheduled for months due to them being understaffed and say a high volume of emergency calls come in, so they screw over the customer that was proactive and scheduled maintenance months in advance. My last service the guy literally did nothing to my AC. I know what I have and I just wanted a tuneup and he didn't even do that but I paid for it, that's for sure read more

Dishonest,predatory thieves Quoted me a price, to install new angle stop, at toilet, of over 1000.00 dollars.My ex wife texted me stating water would not shut off to toilet.Parker tech said he could not shut off the existing valve and new one had to go on immediately. Utilized for both AC and plumbing recently. Signed up for their maintenance plan and they came and did a checkup for my AC. There was a couple of issues with my unit which they promptly made a follow up appointment and fixed successfully. Also utilized them for an install of a Reverse Osmosis unit on my kitchen sink.
