Highly do NOT recommend for plumbing. Larry the plumber came last week to give us an estimate. We decided not to move forward due to price, another local company was able to get us a better deal. Which is fine. But that same day, Jose from Parker and Son, some corporate guy based off of Phoenix called us and lowered the price. So we agreed to move forward with Parker and Son. Received another call from Jose and he said the price needs to increase $100 due to the age of the home and complexity. Ok sure whatever. The day of the appointment, Larry came to "relook" at everything and increased the price AGAIN up $350, not only that, but he injured his knee from a previous job and can't even get our constantly leaking tub repaired anyways and would need to reschedule. To which I gave Jose a call to let him know what happened, he said he'll get someone else to repair, and then I get a stupid email from a SUPERVISOR, not even a decent phone call, an email, saying they need to part ways with US, the customer. Absolutely ridiculous. This whole company is off. Poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and unprofessional handling of the situation. I should have just gone with the other company but Parker and Son was the one trying to convince us to give them a chance and now we got screwed over due to their lack of communication, staff, plumbers, and abilities. Highly do not recommend. Our mistake for even having our HVAC done with them and this is how we are treated. Do yourself a favor and find a different company for HVAC and Plumbing. read more

However, they don't actually offer emergency after hours electrical service in Tucson. Hopefully one day they will expand their hours/area of service, but this advertising wasn't helpful to me when I needed it most. read more

Con artists. Three plumbing techs in 2 weeks and all wrong in their guesses as to the problem. I spent $3100 on the first two guesses, trusting that they were the experts. WRONG! If I'd authorized work on their 3rd guess, I'd be out another $10K and the problem still wouldn't be fixed. My 2nd opinion plumber found the problem in 30 minutes and Parker wasn't even close. In fact, their incompetence allowed for a delay in fixing the real problem and a worsening the damage that occurred. Never again. Their techs work on commission. First they misled and charged me an obscene amount of money for a cheap ac unit, then the installation. It was installed in 4 hours. they came out on 5 occasions during the summer as the piece of junk kept failing to cool. Hours of my time wasted before the Manager contacted me and came out to see for himself. he sent a crew out to re-install the overpriced unit. they did a very good job of installation this time, 12 hours. more of my time and inconvenience however. 4 months later yesterday, the unit springs a gas leak. One would think they would hustle but no, have to wait a day. could be fire who knows. I would go out of my way to warn you to stay away! He was super....very personable and pleasant and really knew what he was doing. He gave extra advice when asked questions about how to take care of our water heater. We had our aging A/C and furnace replaced by Parker and Sons yesterday. Four installers showed up, as promised, between 7-7:30. Another gentlemen showed up just before install was done. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. By 2pm the units were installed, explained to us and the crew left, taking their mess with them. I knew Parker and Sons had a good reputation in the community so felt good about trusting them with a major expenditure on our home. Pricing was fair. Had a brand new A/C unit installed by Parker & Sons on July 15th. On July 26th, the unit stopped cooling. I called and they set up an appointment for Sunday (July 28th) to look at the unit. Sunday came and I called to see when they were coming and they said they had no appointment on the books for me. I let them know it was 90 degrees in my home and they now say I'd have to make an appointment for later in the week. $14,000 spent on a new A/C unit and it worked for 11 days. Now they will not make it a priority to come fix the unit they installed. Not recommended to use them at all. read more

I contacted Parker & Sons to troubleshoot a leak above my ceiling. After removing some ductwork that was in their way, they discovered that the existing plastic drain pipe had been installed incorrectly and was in fact where my leak was. They made the repairs to the drain line and left. I awoke the next morning to a rainstorm not only outside but inside my house as well. Seems one of the couplers they installed on the new line was installed incorrectly which flooded my pantry and furnace room. They came back out to fix their faulty workmanship. The technician that was here agreed that the issue was their fault due to the improper collar installation. When he was done, I asked that they have their restoration partner come out to check for potential mold and to assess the damage to the affected drywall. When the restoration contractor showed up, he told me he had talked to the owner of Parker & Sons and they claim they are not responsible for anything. Even though the damage was caused by parts supplied and installed by them. I tried contacting the president of Parker & Sons (twice), stating there was a problem with their customer service. I got no response. Their warranty states they cover their work and materials for 5 years. They didn't honor that warranty for 1 day. I contacted Rite Way to come out to re-install my duct work. Do not use Parker & Sons. The only thing they care about is making a buck. read more

Requested a techincian come out because our 16yr old AC unit quit blowing cold air. Nate Koehler showed up within a couple hours and and discovered the condensor and fan motor for the compresser had failed. We opted for a new system. Nat did a wonderful job going over all the options and answering our questions. An install crew arrived 7am the next morning (Hiram Mota, Christiona Cachica, Noeh Hatone and Geramah Leichliter) They did a fantastic job with the install and addresed any questions/concerns we had and cleaned up well before they left. The recent installation we had of an overpriced HVAC system has ruined our home. It's loud even though they said it would not be and they didn't put the cover on or finish installing the bottom so the very heavy panel is a hazard. On top of all of that heat is now pushed into the side of our home and makes the cabinets and drawers super hot in the afternoon when the AC is running. For $10,000 I expected a little better service. On the upside the install was done very quickly (in hindsight probably rushed) and the installers were very nice. read more

They wanted to charge me $450.00 for two on this visit, which I thought was way too high. The work only takes 5 to 10min to completed. New AC installed near end of May. Not two months later, AC is not working properly, blowing hot air in several rooms. Was able to schedule service technician to come out, however, unable to solve the issue and stated that new equipment would need to be ordered and someone would be in contact with me to set up that repair date. 3 days later, no contact has been made and I had to reach out. Customer service had no idea what was going on with the status of our repair and stated they'd get back to us. For the cost of the unit, I'd expect a certain level of quality. This is not the case. It is almost as if they only care about making a sale vs retaining customers for the long term. They certainly were extremely responsive during the sales process let me tell you. Currently have not received a call back on when my further service to repair the issue will occur. Currently, would not recommend this company to anyone. Low quality equipment and poor installation when the salesperson made a high point on how those were some of the best things about Parker & Sons. In May, we had a kitchen sink leak. Techs arrived and replaced gasket. At the same time, we requested they replace the kitchen faucet. The leak has returned. Imagine our surprise when the job is not under warrantee because we did not buy any parts for the initial repair. And the fact plumber's grease mars the finish of the new kitchen faucet, despite my best efforts to remove it, is not even a concern. Workmanship....promises....attention detail....big fail. This company is not reliable and certainly not worth the money. Received a response from owner offering to make it right.....the time to make it right was today, when the tech was here and after consultation with his manager told us the bad news that the work to fix our leak would cost almost $400. They quote you an outrageous price, if you don't take it you are out 79 dollars for the inspection and quote. I wrote a one star review last week that appears to have been removed from this site.They quoted me $12,500 to repair my kitchen lights . Another electrician fixed the problem for $1400.00.Received a call from the Manager of Tucson Office who apologized and stated that she would remediate the problem by improved technician training even though the technician told me he had consulted with his supervisor. The reason I am writing another review is that they also told me I could receive VIP service for future calls if I joined their Family Program for $6.99 per month which I agreed the day I called to make the service appointment. But after I received the outrageous quote to fix the problem, I called the office and requested a refund of my $6.99 and to stop all recurring charges.I was advised that the charge was not $6.99 per month as quoted but that my account was charged $13.99.Now 12 days later my charge card has not been credited even though I called again to follow up. I finally called my credit card company who is crediting back my money. BTW, I live in Sonoita, AZ not Ojai as stated in my profile. I tried to correct it. read more

Hiram and his team installed a heat pump AC system for us in late April. The install went great and everything was working well once the weather got warm and we had it turned on all day. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up when we signed the contract to install the unit and it seemed that we were not going to get the $1500 rebate that we thought we were getting. (Short story: we purchased a Bosch and signed a contract that had the rebate included but for a non-Bosch system! Since the rebate didn't match what we actually got, no rebate was automatically issued. Bummer.) I really thought that my chances of actually getting the rebate were low since we already signed the contract. So after talking with the salesperson, I called Parker's main line and eventually got in touch with Dallas. (Again, I was expecting nothing!) But Dallas looked into the problem immediately, apologized for the mix-up, and then cut us a check for $1500! I was speechless and so was my husband! I cannot thank Dallas and Parker and Sons for their assistance and their willingness to solve my problem. They were fantastic and I fully recommend them to anyone that needs an air conditioner.
