Customer on October 2018, paid $99 for inspection. Absurdly high pricing on plumbing. I actually paid (pretty much thew away) $99 for Parker Heating and Air to come to my house to inspect my hot water heater. He came to my house, did some tests, and "determined" that my hot water heater was bad. Ok, but they quoted me $4,395! for a basic 50 gallon hot water heater install (inc. $688 PRV install, and $1,000 new ducts). I knew that was high, so I asked their technician two times what brand/model of hot water heater it was, and all he would say was "its made in America, the other guys sell brands made in Mexico". He said that twice when asked directly for the brand. So no brand, no BTU output, no way to tell if it was a rip-off or not (which I am sure it probably was). After calling all around town, Parker Heating and Air (now called Parker Homer services after a name change) was outrageously priced compared to everyone else. I literally called 10 plumbers, they were almost twice as high as the second most expensive. Around 2-3x more expensive then average. Their technician didn't seem to really know what was going on with my water heater, he had to think long and hard to come up with an answer, which in hind site, the next master plumber said "was surely wrong". I think the Parker Home Services (Parker heating and air) tech guessed, then came up with an absurd $4,395 quote. I do think he was right it probably needed to be replaced, but for the wrong reasons (we took the old one apart). In the end, I ended up paying half as much for a nice brand name, high output, commercial 50 gallon water heater, installed by a master plumber (with new exhaust ducts, PRV). The PRV for instance was only $150 (he just charged me cost since I gave him all the other work), Parker Home Services wanted to charge me $688! That is ridiculously high for a PRV. Call anywhere... My experience is these guys charge really really high prices. The tech handed me that outrageous quote with a straight face. He told me it would take 2 guys all day. It took one guy a half day. I would like to take this opportunity to personally recognize the outstanding and professional service that I have always received from the office staff and your technicians over the past 7 years. Especially when you installed a new furnace, tankless hot water heater and air conditioner at my residence. The technicians were very professional, clean, on time each day, and ensured my systems were working each day prior to leaving, and of course after they had completed the installation of all 3 systems. They took the time to answer my questions, and came back to address a minor issue with my new CO2 monitor. Everyone had a wonderful attitude throughout the installation process and always had the mentality of "the customer comes first". They ensured my living space was only minimally impacted and did an excellent job of cleaning after they had completed the job. It is because of my positive experiences in dealing with everyone, your office and technical staff that I will continue to do business with our organization. I have even referred my family and friends to you and they all have had positive experiences. In this day in age where customer service seems to have become a lost art, it is refreshing to encounter professionals like those found at Parker Heating and Air Conditioning who listen to the customer, have developed their expertise, and have abilities to meet and exceed the needs of the customers. If I could give Parker Heating and Air 10 stars, I would. Sadly this is one of those industries that you can really be taken advantage of if you choose the wrong company to do business with. Our furnace was making an odd noise so we had a different company come out to do a tune up. They left us with a dirty furnace and a list of "necessary" repairs which totaled almost as much as a new furnace. I called Parker Heating and Air for a second opinion. Richard came out the next day. He was extremely professional and thoughtful. He showed me why the parts didn't need to be replaced and took pictures as he did a thorough tune up. He made me feel like I had asked a neighbor for help and was very sincere. When he was finished he gave me a detailed written explanation of what he did and what the noise was and offered some suggestions to extend the life of what he have instead of trying to sell me on a whole new system. I will definitely request Richard to come out and tune up the A/C this summer. Great example of what doing business locally should be about! read more

I have used Parker Heating and Air for over 7 years to service yearly my heating and air. Since the units were over 20 years old it was time to replace them. The first step was to contact the customer service staff(Outstanding) to schedule a consultation to determine the type and size of the new units that would provide the best air and heat throughout our home. Josh was scheduled and assessment was determined with several options. Josh let my wife and I determine this. He was Outstanding and was not pushy but thoroughly explained these options. Once we decided the next step was the ordering of units and date for install. That is when Eric and his crew, Walter and Wolfgang showed up on install day. Eric totally explained what they were going to do. Due to Covid, all the employees wore their masks and booties the entire time. The install went great. I would not have thought that I would ever have to rescind a positive review (see above), however I feel strongly that I must now do so. As my AC unit was not functioning at the beginning of this summer, I again called Parker Heating and Air to have a technician return to check out the unit. It was on this visit that I suddenly started seeing significant red flags. They included making assumptions on equipment that were not accurate, failing to provide appropriate diagnostic services, and finding multiple needs that added significant additional costs. In other words, my AC unit was not the tonnage they thought it was, the coil (around $2,200) did not need to be replaced, and it is important to actually do a leak test rather than speculating what might be leaking. In the end, the actual repair cost a little over $300. dollars vs. the several thousand that Parker Heating and Air was quoting. I would recommend All Temperatures Controlled if you want a quality HVAC company. read more

Best experience ever. I'm a gold member, get two free checkups a year. They have not tried to upsell me for something I did not need. Had three other visits in the last month Two Heating/Air issues and one Plumbing issue. April 22 and 25. May 10. Always on time, very friendly, explained issue(s) in detail. The 1st visit was because a fuse failed. They looked everywhere but could not find the issue. They looked for a long time. The 2nd visit was because the fuse failed again. The issue was a bug in an inclosed box which when looking at it with the naked eye you could not see any issues. He took a picture of the circuit board and was able to enlarge it and found a bug (bee) on the board and after removing it everything is running again. (No Cost). The 3rd visit was for a small leak in the on/off valve in the basement which led to the Sprinkler system. It took him maybe five minutes to fix it. And then we walked around discussing other minor issues. read more

I personally had Shawn come out to rectify my AC issue which precluded it from working. To say he was excellent on every front seems insufficient but nevertheless entirely true... from customer service, honesty, made multiple trips, professional, knowledgeable, and competent. It was so refreshing after having had less than satisfactory experiences with other companies and/or employees associated with those companies. I cannot recall the name of the initial office person I worked with but she went out of her way as well. She got someone in within 24 hours as I was headed into surgery and needed it rectified before hand without additional financial burden. Don't get the run around with this heating and air company. They came out two times this past year to 'fix' our heater in our attic. First time... no hot air was coming out so they fixed that... a couple months later the heater wouldn't turn on and and they came back out and 'fixed' that. The service tech said everything looked good and we should be good for at least the next couple years and tried to sell me in on their annual maintenance plan. Now a couple months later the heater won't turn on again and they won't back their work. We feel like we are getting the run around and after spending hundreds of dollars to have our heater not work again this year we are calling another company. We feel like they are jimmy rigging our heater so we have to keep calling them back to keep giving them money. Go with a reputable and honest company. The owner said he can't do anything. I had an issue with my A/C not starting up in late spring. Dan came out to service and couldn't have been more courteous and professional. He went through a thorough troubleshooting process and informed me that my thermostat was bad. He gave me his direct number to call if I wanted him to come back to install or had any trouble installing myself. After installing the new thermostat I continued to have issues and called Dan. He found a way to squeeze me in the same day and came back with Daniel who together identified an issue causing a short in my system that they quickly resolved. Dan reviewed the pros and cons of my 17 year-old system which, when I decide to replace, will be with Parker Heating and Air. I felt Dan was extremely honest, the price I paid for the services was fair and never felt any kind of sales pressure. Would highly recommend. read more

My furnace went out on Thursday morning and Bryan was here by 8:15am to diagnose what was wrong. He was professional and informed me of all of my options. I decided to go with a new furnace because of the age of my old one and the quality was not good. Parker Heating was able to come out two days later to install it. They gave me space heaters to use while waiting because after Bryan tried countless ways to get my old furnace to work for just a couple of days it wouldn't. The install team, Eric an Doc, showed up on time and were also professional and friendly. Parker Heating & Air easily has the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Had a problem with our A/C today and called to schedule an appointment for Aug. 3rd which was the earliest they could get us in. Not only did they make it here before Aug. 3rd but the owner personally came to our house TODAY on his way home to get us taken care of. Couldn't believe it. They replaced a furnace on 12/21/22. They were very slow. When they left, they kicked a quart of purple pvc primer off the ladder and stained the floor and wall heavily. Mopped it all over the white tile in the utility closet and left without saying anything. Upon further inspection, insulation had not been replaced in the joist bay, intake pipe was not glued(pvc), strap hanger was not supporting pipe at all and the termination cap on the pipes outside looked like a blind 3rd grader did it(sorry 3rd graders). These guys are hacks, owner is a crook and install manager clearly cannot run a crew. Don't hire these clowns, you'll be sorry. read more

I have been using Parker Heating & Air for service on our furnace, hot water heater and air conditioner for several years. I even had to have a technician out to my home late on a Saturday night. Bryan was my last service advisor and he not only did an excellent job on our air conditioner tune up, but he helped me bring some stuff out of my basement and pulled a budding tree from a window well near my a/c unit. These folks go out of their way when they come to our home and my furnace and air conditioner continue to perform wonderfully after 16 years of use. We purchased our home in Tallyn's Reach Aurora in 2011. The folks at Parker Heating and Air helped us upgrade our heating and cooling system. They also installed an all home air filter and humidifier. Their service has been excellent. The strength of a company depends not only on the quality of their overall service but also on how they deal with issues. When we had some water damage to our wood floor due to an installation issue with the humidifier, the owner, Rick, responded immediately and very quickly had the wood floor replaced. Had Parker Home Services Plumbing come to my house today, 5-14-19 and Ben was right on time and immediately went to work on my bathroom toilet and the sink. Called them for just the leaky toilet but then showed him the pop-up in the bathroom sink and he immediately went to work on that one also. Ben is a very good plumber and great to work with and talk to about the plumbing department and both issues were taken care of and fixed very expediently. Had a scheduled maintenance visit for our furnaces today. Bryan was the HVAC Tech and was beyond excellent!! He new I was on a time crunch to have lunch with my son and even went back to his shop to get the needed materials to finish and was completed in his committed time frame. Their Gold plan is fantastic!! I highly recommend signing up. They are really busy so that are out a bit on routine maintenance but otherwise for emergency service they have a great group that handle that as well. We had our water reducer valve break on the main water line to the house and water was pouring out. I called Dawn and as always she was kind and very helpful. She had Bill, a master plumber, to our house immediately. He had the problem fixed within no time. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Called Parker Heating and Air after discovering that the company that installed our AC 3 years ago was a 2 week wait for an appointment. Dan came out the same evening that I called and assessed our issue and gave us some options for moving forward. He was very honest and knowledgeable. The next day Dan contacted me with another possible fix, and came out to try it and it worked! Saved us having to do a full replacement of our compressor.
