I called two different contractors, Parkin Electric being one of the two, did not have any availability for a week or so which wasn't an issue at all. When Mike came out, he was friendly, truly listened to my goals by providing me ways to save money and told me what he commonly save with our EV owners. The official quote did take a little over a week to receive, something they were very transparent about but what helped was that Mike gave me a verbal estimate which was already half the price of the competition so I was willing to wait. Scheduling: After signing the contract, Tonya reached out the very next day and told me they had an availability in a few days that sadly didn't work for me. We ended up scheduling it a few weeks out but noted that if something came up earlier, that I would be notified which ended up being the case. Installation: My installation arrival window was between 8am to 9am with the job itself taking about 2 hours. What I really appreciated was that I had asked for a call before the technician came over which they did and was perfectly within the arrival window! The delay due to the Covid 19 pandemic was never an issue. Masks were worn by all of their employees. However, the electrician asking for full payment and stating that he's done and leaves, meanwhile the fact that the job wasn't completed, was the issue. The person that gave the bid was "an inexperienced kid" and the electrician was unaware that there was more to the bid. We had to wait, understandable but cold another few weeks until another electrician could come out. His manner was curt and unfriendly because of the "inexperienced kid" that made the mistake perhaps, or the fact that our dogs were at the fence when he pulled up, also understandable and was taken care of immediately upon him yelling "Hey lady, your dogs are impeding my work" to my 89yr old mom. I don't know which but as a General Contractor myself, he has awful customer service skills. We'll have to wait to see if the quality of the work is the same. I would never recommend this company to any of my clients nor have them put on the list of professional contractors with realtors in the area. Stay safe. read more

Our 27-year-old ceiling fan/light went out and we bought a HEAVY rustic chandelier to replace it! I think we all dread calling contractors for estimates on work we need done, and we held our breaths as we called around for estimates on a electrical panel swap as well as service upgrade. My wife and I have been so happy with our experience front to back with you. I am so satisfied with Randa Mills the technician that came out today 5 starts just doesn't seem like enough. I've tried to figure out my electrical problem for 3 years now ( I'm a very stubborn person ) and I finally had to admit defeat. Randa got straight to work and wasted no time trying to figure out the problem and it made me feel like I had made the right decision to have PARKIN send her out to repair my house. Randa checked EVERYTHING and found the problem in just over an hour and I would have given 5 stars just for that. Remember I said she checked everything right. After repairing the main problem and during her cleanup she fixed other things that would have caused problems later down the road. She wore a mask the hole time even those boot covers to protect my floor and her cleanup was perfect. If Randa shows up to your house the problem is solved. On Monday Sept.21st 2020 we had Parkin come to our home to replace a GFI plugin. It took about 20 minutes, and they charged us 196.50. They put the wrong color of plugin and said that if it did not word they would be able to replace it with the right color, but it would cost 125.00 to do it. To me that sounds like a scam, because they should have more than one type of colored plugin. Don't get scammed by Parkin. Companies should do the right thing. read more

I have a older mobile home and a breaker needed to be replaced. Parkin was recommended to me because they do work on older mobile homes. The electrician was quick and saved me some money, There was an extra breaker not being used in the box so she just switched it out with the bad one and didn't have to charge me $80.00 for a new breaker.
