I bought Donuts this morning 11/20 around 9AM, I order donuts and coffee, every time the customers arrived she help them I was waiting for my coffee, customers arrived again she help them again and I was there sitting waiting for my coffee around 10 minutes finally she makes order my hot coffee no taste and it's already cold, get out and come back and i complain. I told her I think she's with the manager lack of customer service. I told them customer should be first come first serve basis. They should teach them manner and customer service. read more

I first went to Parlor the first time when it opened and I had a terrible experience. I thought the doughnuts were incredibly stale and the extra sugar on the sides of the doughnuts were major overkill and completely unnecessary. Then recently I decided to give it one more try and luckily I met Christian there working and I told him how my experience was at first and if there's a way to make some adjustments to the doughnut like without the unnecessary extra sugar on the side. He was happy to make a fresh doughnut from the batch for me just the way I like it and I gotta tell you, my experience was sooooo much better this time. Good donuts but ALLERGIC PEOPLE BEWARE. After purchasing a few donuts, one of them being a peanut butter donut, I completely spaced on my brother's nut allergy as I bought a cookies & cream one that was placed in the same box as mine. I immediately walked back in & asked if we could replace his with another one & have it placed in separate box. The attendant flat out told me they knowingly cross contaminate there, reusing the same tongs & trays for all the donuts, and yes the tongs did touch my donut first then his. I would've been okay with her using a napkin or glove to grab another donut since the donuts rest on parchment paper on the trays but she didnt seem to want to do that , just offered me a separate box. It's upsetting that there's no caution taken with cross contamination there or even wanting to assist a customer in a situation like this. read more

After a Visit to Whole Foods about a week ago, I stopped in to Parlor for a gluten-free doughnut about 2 pm. Cases were empty, employees said doughnuts were in back. I asked which of their doughnuts was closest to a glazed and was referred to their vanilla carnival. I ordered that and an employee went to get it. She came back out front with a white paper bag for me. I went to the car, opened the bag and found a cold doughnut with gloopy, wet icing running down over the sides. It had clearly just been iced a moment ago. Was a real mess to pick up and try a bite, and the half-baked texture was horrible. Almost like eating unbaked batter out of a bowl. Gluten free donuts were so small I thought they gave us the dog donuts by mistake. They should come with two in one for that price and size. My husband got two gf donuts and finished them each in two bites ( he said they did not even taste like donuts) . Recently back in town (snowbirds) and after reading about Parlor Doughnuts new store was anxious to try it. OMG! Purchased two yesterday afternoon and put them in the freezer. My family loves parlor and we drive 40 min for each way for them . I get the raspberry pistachio and chocolate chocolates for my twins. My oldest listed campfire or maple bacon . Walked in at 2:50, store closes at 4 on the website, they have a somewhat minimal selection, which is kinda understandable. The blonde girl in the sweater didn't greet us, we had to say hi to her as she stood in front of the case staring off, not engaging. Then they turned off the lights as we're looking, she still has nothing to say. The floors are extremely sticky in front of the case, and that's one thing I can't stand is a sticky floor. I sit down cause I can't tolerate the feeling and decide I don't want anything cause I'm kinda turned off, my friends are looking but I can also tell they're turned off. My friend still tries to order, the girl in the hoodie points at a solitary donut in the display and says that's gluten free. We came to this establishment cause my friend has a gluten allergy and we saw they had a big selection of gluten free options, we were very excited, when my friend clarified and politely asked if they're were more options besides the one small donut (not all the donuts were exactly where the labels are, so they're a bit mixed up, and it's an allergy we don't want to accidentally purchase the wrong donuts) girl behind the counter replies with, "they're in the back" and then continued to space out, not clarifying what donuts they were just that their in the back. No idea what the was going on but we decided we are not coming back here again, it was so ofputting and everyone in the car can agree that we were definitely not receiving good customer service, or any for that matter. She smiled as we left, like she won, that's exactly the how I'm going to remember this establishment. I don't quarrel with employees I just know when I'm not wanted somewhere and take my leave. Website menu is like 20% of the actual menu. They only serve brewed coffee or cold brews despite the website saying they have lattes and mochas. They also don't have the hot food menu that their website shows. Disappointed since I wanted a bagel sandwich. read more

These doughnuts are awesome! They aren't your normal, light, yeasty snacks you might be used to. They are heavier, more dense, and more substantial than any other doughnut I've had. We shared a lemon bar and a maple bacon. Both delicious! I'm definitely coming back for more. read more

Don't order anything online for pickup! If they don't have your doughnuts available they will still charge you for your order. Last Saturday I ordered 4 boxes of doughnuts for pickup and when I arrived to pickup my order, they said they didn't have any doughnuts left, but they didn't bother to call me or let me know. They have all my info on the order, my phone number, email, etc. They also told me they cancelled the order, but when I checked my credit card, they still charged me. I emailed them to let them know and no one got back to me. I had to send a credit card dispute to get my $ back. Terrible service and I'm so disappointed. read more

It's not a doughnut. It's a pastry, sure. But it doesn't really resemble a doughnut at all. Not in shape, not in texture, not in flavor. It's almost like a croissant with icing, which is fine. They're okay for a sweet treat but if you want a doughnut this does not fulfill that desire, layered or not. It is definitely misleading to call it such. It has this super good glaze on top with the cinnamon churro sugar and it literally smells like the churros at Northgate market which are phenomenal! This is a really good doughnut. Expensive doughnut but really really good. I am kind of surprise this place doesn't get a higher Yelp rating but I can see if you judge it on the price it probably may cloud your rating. This might be the best doughnut I have ever had. The Bourbon Caramel is dangerously seductive and the one that taste like a cinnamon roll is scary good. I also had the French Toast one. The one thing that is a benefit about the price is that it does make me think twice about coming but that is probably a natural obstacle from this place becoming an addiction. I had the sample of the coffee this morning, and that sucks. The coffee tasted like the Smokey French Roast crap. Last but not least. The donuts were completely cold inside, as if they just came out of a refrigerator--which is sad because I was hoping they'd be fresh like other local donut shops. I bought the gluten free and keto donuts. Be prepared to wait, I was originally told 5-6 minutes 15 minutes later after going up to ask for them I got them. Both options taste heavily taste like coconut. Keto chocolate, maple keto, gluten free chocolate and sandy beach all tasted like coconut and had an interesting smell to them. Went here for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The doughnuts are quite large but everything was very clearly labeled. I got the French toast and maple bacon doughnuts. They were unbelievable. My wife said that this place competes very well with Sidecar Doughnuts in Costa Mesa. The employee helping was also very kind. When I chose the doughtnuts I did, she said, "Those are excellent choices!". She also had a smile on her face and complimented me which made my day.
