The staff was pleasant & went out of their way to present me with a good lookin' pie! Unfortunately, the food just wasn't tasty. Buffalo Chicken Pizza, counter-style, heavy on hot sauce & not much else. Albeit, hard to make this pizza a crowd pleaser, but I've had better versions that used actual chicken (not chicken steak) & at least a hint of blue cheese to balance the vinegary taste. When combined with a runny, flavorless, Ranch = a processed, 1-dimensional, tasting pizza. But I would never judge food quality on this alone. Was disheartened to find the family sized Italian Calzone even more disappointing. Generous in size & had a good bake on it, but a smokey-strange taste to meat that overpowered any enjoyment. Seems silly to say "processed" again, when these meats are just that, processed, but bad processed, not good processed. If it WAS a Calzone (don't recall seeing any ricotta) it was hard to tell as the ingredients didn't call that out. The homemade Cheesesteak Eggrolls were the bell of the ball, but paired with a weird selection of processed sauces, none of which a compliment. It takes seconds to whip up horseradish aioli making these a crowd pleaser. My advice, re-examine choice of product vendors & make a few more things in-house. Ordered from Parma Pizza for a physician office lunch meeting. I've never tried them before and was pleasantly surprised by piping hot and delicious Chicken Parm & Pasta, salads, and the HUGE dessert tray filled with cannolis and big cookies! Let me start out by saying my family eats here weekly. We get the same thing every week. 24 wings and salad. Tonight when I picked up, the wings were leaking all over the bag and when I asked for a new bag, it was an issue. The bag got changed and it soaked through the bag in the time I signed the credit card receipt. I asked for a plastic bag and got an eye roll and a sigh. Got home and the wings were burnt. I called. I was trying to tell him that all I wanted was to have it fixed. He was trying to convince me that I order what I got.. Funny because I am allergic to one of the ingredients in the food. Customers beware! This is a local pizzeria five minutes from where I live. I have had their pizza many times for all the years I've lived here. They advertise heavily through the mail with coupons and also have them at their register. One coupon on the flier, which never changes except for the design, reads $2 off any pizza. ANY PIZZA. No exclusions listed. Until today, I always used this on my small pizza. Today, I was told I couldn't use it on the 10" pizza because it's considered a kid's pizza. I am not a kid and I don't look like a kid and I didn't order a kid's pizza. I asked for the small. The girl asked her boss and he said no, not on a kid's pizza. I told him I just asked for a small pizza and always use this and pointed to the box the pizza is in. It's not my job to know that a small is not a kid's or whatever the case may be. He maintained that this is a kid's pizza and I couldn't use it, even though it was always honored. I assume this is the friendly and solicitous owner. I said the coupon didn't say any exclusions. When I told him that and I had been coming there for years, he said he "didn't care what the coupon says" and I was making a "big deal" about it. I'm sorry, I just despise people who don't honor their word, in this case YOUR COUPON and I also despise businesses who treat customers like dirt. I don't care how good your food is. You treat customers with respect, not hostility. I told him to take his pizza and shove it and he lost me as a customer. He told me to f### off, which matched the rest of his demeanor. There's another pizzeria two minutes away. Hope it was worth it to lose what would have been a lifelong customer. Just for kicks, I showed the other pizzeria the coupon and they agreed that it should have been honored. The woman there also told me that she hears stories with similar treatment about this establishment all time. I found my new pizzeria. I also have a story my friends and neighbors here will undoubtedly find interesting. A place that treats its customers with such disdain doesn't deserve to be patronized or be in business. Really good pizza and close to us. The best part is their gluten free pizza. My daughter can't have gluten and most places use a cauliflower crust for gf dough, which does not taste like real crust. The owner lost control and flipped out on me in the middle of the restaurant that was full of people. Treated me like I was a stupid woman and made me feel about an inch tall. Cursing at me and yelling at the top of his lungs. Mind you, this was not my fault. It was an issue that he had to take up with Grubhub. At which point he demanded that I pay out of my own pocket while still cursing and yelling. In front of a restaurant full of people. I am normally a quiet person but I decided that I was not going to allow somebody to speak to me the way he was speaking to me. So I yelled at him and told him he needs to take his attitude and drop it because it is not my issue. This man has serious anger issues And should not be in business. Looking through the reviews on this page, there are more than their fair share of horrible reviews due to his poor ownership skills and attitude. We've ordered from Parma for the past several years and always thought the food was pretty good. This Sunday, we placed an order for delivery at 4:45, order was delivered at 5:30 but was missing some of the ordered food. We immediately called and asked for the missing item to be delivered. At 6pm, called again and was told it was on its way... 6:15, called and still on its way. 6:30, call again and request to speak to a manger who responded with "well, what do you want me to do??? We got jammed up and these things happen".... OK, I get it but what you SHOULD do if offer a refund for the delayed items. I suggested this to the manager and he said he would take care of it. Have ordered here as a group from work a few times. Pizza is pretty good. Fried mozzarella is fair, frozen not fresh. On more than one occasion they have forgotten extras that were requested and charged for ( marinara, dressings, etc). For the last couple of summers, the fam has been partaking in a pizza challenge. We buy pizzas from various places in Pottstown and bring them home for a head-to-head contest. Now, every pizza afficionado knows that take-home pizza is not ideal. Putting a sizzling hot pie in a closed cardboard box subjects it to -gasp- a steamy environment, and steam can wreak havoc on your crust. Nonetheless, the hubster and I live in San Diego, where a great pizza is hard to get. We're just happy to eat a decent slice. Although it didn't win the overall vote in any year, Parma got my top ranking two years in a row! Their pizza has a good crust, and a perfect (in my book) sauce-to-cheese ratio. There was enough tasty sauce that its flavor wasn't obscured by the cheese, which was obviously placed with great restraint. The pie wasn't too thick and greasy, like some other shops. It was, as Goldilocks would say, just right. My only complaint is that I wished it were cooked a little more. I do like brown bubbly cheese on top of my pizza. The annual summer pizza throwdown has taught me something important. Pizza is an individual choice. Each person has his/her own preferences that must be honored. Fortunately, Pottstown has a lot of great choices where individual pizza lovers can find their bliss. read more

Parma is a great place for a slice o' pizza pie. The staff is young and do suffer from the occasional bout of non-chalantness. But overall they do a good job. The place is always kept clean and they have a great variety of pies to choose from. The pizza is better than Bravo IMO. I don't know if it's the cheese or the dough or both, but it just seems a little fresher than the rest in the area. The customer service SUCKS!!! They have a bunch of kids working there and try to close as early as possible on a nightly basis. They NEVER get your name right when you place a phone order, the never get the food right, and they refused to honor a no purchase necessary coupon because I had ordered one of their daily specials. So i left and came back in with the coupon as a separate transaction as it clearly stated no purchase necessary and they refused to honor it. We used to order there every Thursday for the family Stromboli, but I will now take my business elsewhere. I have never reviewed a business before, but I had to this time. Last night I had company and we decided to get take out. I used to order from Parma weekly but due to an attempt to eat better I haven't in a couple of months. I don't know what happened but I was incredibly embarrassed that I recommended them! Delivery took an hour and a half, the delivery guy calls me an hour and 15 minutes after my order was placed, he says he can't read my address and wants directions, then he says never mind I will use my gps, when he arrives I feel like I'm being pranked! The sandwiches are flat as pancakes and burnt! The chicken tender dinner is an order of cheese fries! And get this, the driver says " here is your receipt you can take it back yourself! So I then have to drive the 5 minutes to Parma for a very insulting experience. 1. Two girls mopping the floor, they don't stop, I make my way around them and I'm waiting for the manager, they are literally mopping around my shoes now! I say would you like me to stand somewhere else? One says " oh it's not that slippery" 2. The manager throws the food directly in the trash and is yelling at the teenager who put it in the bag. I am a firm believer that employees should not be yelled at and asked "do you know how to read English" 3. The owner. This guy. Wow. So he gives me my freshly cooked food and receipt, I look at the receipt and I politely say, I'm still paying for this mistake? So then he begins yelling at me and waving his hands all around saying how he already lost money on the food he threw away and that as a business owner he can't afford this. I tell him that I am a resonable woman and don't appreciate his yellIng or his gestures, he says that's just how I talk and continues his rant. His employees are all visibly intimidated by him and I see why. 4. At this point I'm ready to get out of there, so I compromise, I say at least refund the dilivery fee because my order was never delivered. He says fine and you can have 20% off your next order. He then storms off giving me no refund or documentation of 20% off. 5. I left with food that tasted good, a headache and the desire to never eat there again.
