We bought a couple stickers here to commerorate our time visiting Portland. My girlfriend also bought a children's forest book for her nephew who enjoyed it. He mentioned he wants to visit Portland with us next time and I concur. Worth a visit due to the unique items, cleanliness, and welcoming vibes. Keeping Portland weird, yet interesting!

While I didn't purchase anything form the store, it is cute and if you are looking for local unique (both fun and practical) items as gift for someone while visiting Portland or a gift to bring back home to someone or to ship something from home, this is a great little store. They have a number of Pacific North West, Oregon and National Park themed items available. They had pillows, games, books, candles, glasses and a variety of adult and PNW branded children / babies clothes as well. What I found most appealing was the local card and unique wrapping paper section, which I will definitely come back, browse and purchase from myself. Oh - I am also a fan of stickers and they had the best selection I've seen here in Portland to date! After I did a bit more research on the store when I got home, I discovered that the store was named after the owners two (2) rescue dogs ~ "they represent to use that essence of comfortable den home, not too fussy and full of life!" I am a huge rescue dog fan and this made me smile and have even a great affinity for making recommendations to friends, near or far, to check them out. Think HomeGoods or HomeSense stores, but much MUCH higher end. That about encapsulates this place. The store itself is one large, open concept floor. It has all sorts of kitchen gadgets and linens, gourmet foods/condiments, patio furniture and gardening accessories, home furnishings and household accessories. Nothing is cheap here, literally or figuratively. Everything is super well-made, but very pricey. My kid saw a pizza platter here for $20 that she purchased the day before at HomeGoods for $4.99. The exact same item. That said, this place carries a lot of brands and items that you cannot find elsewhere, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product lines. I liked their selection of retro wall clocks in a rainbow of colors, each for about $50 (I thought that was reasonable). Also, note that their sale prices on items are excellent deals. It has inner city street parking with no dedicated pickup area. I am older. I struggled to walk my heavy items to my car. One of the staff members wheeled the items to the door. She left. I had to struggle to open the door with my heavy awkward boxed item. Ian was very helpful arranging the items for pick up. He was customer service oriented. The showroom was beautiful. Item are priced appropriately for the quality of product. Go to the online store for sales and special deals. Overall I think the focus is on selling but falls short on sales follow through.

Be aware that beds, chairs and couches are definitely lower to the ground, in the 15 and 16" height range, so if you have knee issues, they probably won't work for you.
