Parrandos is a great spot to grab tex-mex food in the area and I very much enjoyed my experience. The service was attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. There was a lot of seating in the bar area, so we took advantage. There was a lot of seating, and as many have commented it shouldn't be a problem. The margarita was strong and tasty. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet, unlike many margaritas you get at Mexican restaurants. I ordered the 3 tacos and tried various ones, each delish! I enjoyed the seasonings and sauces and the portion sizes were perfect.

Parrando's is a Tex-Mex grill in Ashburn known for it's delicious drinks and Tex-Mex menu. My coworkers and I went here for happy hour. The waitress was nice, but she didn't really give us the happy hour menu and the prices online were incorrect. However, the frozen strawberry margarita and frozen mango margarita were still flavorful and yummy. Also, the wings were a little salty and the guac lacked seasoning. Additionally, the ambiance was average for a Mexican restaurant, but it was a nice place to go out with a big group.

My wife and I had dinner there on 1/23/2025. The server brought chips and salsa right after we were seated. Chips and salsa was tasty. Nothing really stands out. My wife had the steak burrito. Steak was very tender. The burrito was flavorful. Delicious. I had the crispy Tacos with ground beef. Tacos were flavorful. Delicious. I asked for hot sauce. The server brought homemade jalapeño, habenero hot sauce. It had some heat which I enjoyed. We both had rice, refried beans on our plates. The rice was tasty. The refried beans were creamy. A delicious meal. Our server was attentive. We will be back.

So upon walking in we were met with a friendly smile and immediately sitting down we were met with chips and salsa. Chips and salsa 10/10 - extremely fresh you can tell they make everything in house. The salsa was fresh chunks of tomatoes and onions so good. Frozen Strawberry Mango Margaritas 9/10 -Extremely great flavor and smooth. Could've been slightly stronger in my opinion but overall amazing Steak Fajitas 10/10 -By far my favorite place to get steak! It's always cooked to perfection no matter if you get it medium or well done. It melts in your mouth and so tender and flavorful. I love that they make their tortillas in house as well because homemade tastes way better It's a laidback, friendly atmosphere and the restaurant is very very clean even the bathrooms so it makes it way better coming here.

Great service thank you very much! Clean place. Food was amazing. Server was very patient and understanding he took an order one at a time and then repeated the order he did a Great job!!

Best food and best service received. Sender was very friendly, attentive and courteous. Food was served very expeditiously and delicious. Keep up the good work. I will return again and again!

Camarones Jalisco ( sauce was really nicely balanced and dish was pleasant)

Well,I would say it's should be rather 3.7 stars, but we left happy and warm after dinner on a brutally cold night in January. Service was very friendly and attentive, atmosphere was very pleasant and people on the bar looked happy and satisfied. Food was good, not outstanding or phantasmic, but solid quality. I ordered Camarones Jalisco and had a choice of 2 sides. Portion was pretty decent, even though I didn't have any appetizer. Shrimp could be a little larger and a little juicier, but nothing was wrong or not tasty. My family liked seafood chimichanga with shrimp and scallops, but proportions were not even, was much more shrimp than scallops inside. This is a neighborhood place,I happy to have them 10 minutes away from my house and will be back sometimes soon.

Our server was the real deal, too, and spoke with a wonderful accent that proved it. She was helpful and friendly, and the ambience was comfortable and fun. The chips had just the right amount of salt, and the salsa was tasty. I appreciated that one of the salsa options was flavorful without being spicy. (Don't worry; they have a spicy salsa, too, if you have a less tender palate than my own.) My entree, the Bandera Mexicana Enchiladas (with three enchilada sauces in the colors of the Mexican flag), was delicious and filling. Let's start with the high point: the thin tortilla chips and queso were excellent. Light, crispy, and dangerously easy to keep eating long after you should've stopped. Honestly, if the meal had ended there, we might be talking 5 stars and a very different review. But then came my main--a chimichanga-style appetizer that showed up absolutely smothered in a mysterious brown sauce. Not drizzled. Not thoughtfully applied. Drowned. The kind of sauce that makes you wonder if it lost a bet. I gave it a fair shot, but it just wasn't for me. In the spirit of teamwork, I sampled around the table. A colleague's shrimp taco? Better, but not exactly memorable. A bite of steak quesadilla? Let's just say it didn't inspire any follow-up bites. To their credit, the service was good--attentive, friendly, and on top of things. My Diet Coke arrived exactly as advertised, which in some places is apparently a high bar, so points there. Prices were also reasonable, which softened the blow a bit. Still, in an area packed with solid Mexican options, this felt like a "close, but no cigar" situation. I came in hoping for a new favorite and left thinking the queso might be the only thing worth a return trip--and even that feels like a stretch. Three stars: one for the chips, one for the queso, and one for the effort.

The frozen blue margarita was tasty and paired well with the chicken quesadilla, which was also on the HH menu. We also ordered the al pastor tacos again, and they were seasoned perfectly. For many of my friends, when we visit this area, Crooked Run is now a destination because of the tacos (as well as the beer). I do find them delicious and nicely spiced. For me, their price is slightly below average among places I visit, so I find them to be a good deal, especially since they come in slightly larger tortillas - and double layered at that. Their lamb tacos - now 2 styles - are incredibly popular among my group, but I've never had a bad taco there. But the tacos are very messy. Perhaps they have a little too much - even double layered, some of the tacos fall apart as I eat them. Also their method of delivery is a little inconsistent. Two of us ordered two tacos each at the same time. One got his on a tray, I got mine in a little cardboard holder. Maybe they have a limited number of trays? No matter, it's not how they're presented, it's how they taste. And for that, I say "Si Senor!"
