The first time I used him was for a water heater that had failed and flooded my basement. He suggested that due to the amount of damage caused that I should file a claim with my insurance company. I was not familiar with the process, and he walked me through everything. He prepared and estimate as to what that actual cost to refinish the basement would cost, and he dealt directly with my insurance adjuster to get the job done. One the second occasion, I had a pipe in the wall with a pin hole that flooded my kitchen and of course again the basement. He again worked with my Insurance Adjuster and my Mortgage Lender to get all of the issues resolved and restored my home to it's pre-lose condition. His work is incredible. He puts such effort in the work that he does, and it is quality work. My basement looks incredible. I called him on a Saturday morning when I discovered the leak, and he was here within a half hour. So having your house flood is totally overwhelming. We had owned ours for less than 2 months when…read moreit happened. I was a nutcase. I mean I was really stressed out trying to plan a wedding. My internet box was under water along with 2 ipods, a set of speakers...my washer/dryer, the walls..the floor...a bunch of power tools. It was bad news. CCC restoration took my call, answered my questions and sent someone out the next day on a sat to start the drying/cleaning process. They put up a bunch of industrial fans that are in the shape of snails, and a super-duper dehumidifier that made my little $140.00 one from Sears look like a baby. They dried out the house, fixed the walls and power washed the floor. The floor was actually cleaner then I had ever been able to get it scrubbing on my hands and knees pre-flood. They still ended up removing the floor because water could have seeped under it. They were professional, proficient and able to deal with someone who was not calm...me. I recommend them to anyone who has the same situation happen. They are awesome and understanding. They also help you understand the world of homeowners insurance and your claim will work, and how you can make the best of your crappy situation. Cross our fingers for no more flooding, but if it does happen I will be calling them again.

They ended up doing the floors twice, because of their workmanship the first time. When you take chunks out of a hardwood floor, how is that ever repaired, except with pressed wood. All of the workmen were from Chicago. Don't hire these guys!

They are a bunch of sleazy operators who try to squeeze every penny out of the project. They are not happy with the 10% overhead and 10% profit given to them by the insurance company. They try to find the cheapest materials for your home and pass it off as the higher quality materials specified by the insurance company to pad their profits. Example: I specified a $150 toilet from Home Depot for my home. They said they could get it for $350 from their supplier. It was the worst mistake of our lives to hire this company to rebuild our home after fire destroyed it. Now, 12 years later we are looking at replacing all the drywall in all the ceilings throughout our home due to their shoddy workmanship that has resulted in the roof leaking and causing mold to develop underneath. And that's not even mentioning the thefts that happened during the construction. RUN from this company.
