I am updating my review down to 3 stars from the original 5 (since they ask you to write the review as they sit there and watch you at the end of the move day. I felt pressure to write a five star review because he was watching and waiting for me to do it, and we were both so exhausted). - Several days after my move, one of the movers started texting me on my private number asking me about my political views. I thought this was a bit creepy and forward (me being a female). Unacceptable. I will mention that he was from Russia, and we had a light-hearted conversation with the few English words he knew about politics during my move. (Also, as an aside he worked his ass off moving my stuff & was happy with the physical work at the time.) But that text definitely crossed the line. - Additionally, I opened up some of the boxes that they packed for me (which I paid extra for them to pack) a few months after I moved (I have been so busy in my life I still have 2 boxes left, and it has been 10 months). I discovered my large stereo receiver and my Techniques turntable both shoved in sideways to a box with a bunch of other items. During the actual move day I was unable to supervise every person and what they were doing... now my expensive Techniques turntable is inoperable which I'm quite upset about. - there were a few somewhat offensive comments during the move telling me I should throw out some old stuff and it's not worth moving it. At the time I dismissed it as a joke although I know they were not joking. In hindsight that was quite unprofessional. - when booking this company I mentioned 3 times that I had antiques that needed to be disassembled and then reassembled. They said that was no problem... but, as we were actually doing it, it was clear to me they had no idea what they were doing and as a result the furniture was not put together properly. I had to hire two guys to come in and take apart my bed and re-build again! honestly, these guys humped my furniture up many stairs up to my hill house and they did a great physical job which was rewarded with an over 20% tip & lunch & snacks. I even insisted that everyone take many many breaks during the day because I could see how hard they were working. This is just not white glove service in any way, shape, or form, and the snide comments and texting are just unprofessional. Original review: Awesome. Had 4 guys move a whole house up 51 stairs in the hot hot day. They rocked it out of the ballpark. I will Reccomended to anyone!!! read more

Let me start by saying that I've never used movers before. I'm a do-it-yourself kind of person, plus I'm cheap. LOL But I knew I couldn't do this move alone and I didn't want to impose on friends. So I went searching online and what I found almost sent me screaming into the night. Why? Because the first moving company I looked up (the hungry ones) had such horrible reviews that I was afraid to look further for fear that the next business might be worse. Luckily I didn't give up. The 2nd moving company I researched was Pasadena Moving Company. Wow, could all those glowing reviews be legit? These guys sound like a dream come true. In all honesty, I should have researched more, only because I think it's wise to have as much information as possible when it comes to something as important as a move. But I was in a hurry so I jumped in with both feet. And it turns out that my lack of caution didn't bite me in the butt. Pasadena Moving Company is AWESOME. My movers were Anthony (can I adopt him? Please?) and Victor. They were fast, careful, polite and really strong. :-) It was interesting to watch how well they work together. True team work. I appreciated how careful they were not to bump the furniture into the walls when going around corners and down the stairs. They had a long walk from the house out to the truck and back, but they never slowed down. I got tired just watching them. They had to deal with stairs on both ends of the move, and they didn't bat an eyelash. My only complaint is quite minor. Get a new company phone! The sound quality sucks. I had to keep asking the guy to repeat himself when setting up the move and then again when he called to follow up and make sure I was satisfied with the service. Yes, satisfied with everything except your phone. LOL I'm so glad I chose Pasadena Moving Co, and would use them again...many years from now, when I move again. (I HATE moving.;-)) read more

This was my first time using a moving company, as i can not longer tempt my friends with beer and pizza, and we have too much stuff to fit onto my pickup. So naturally, I was a little hesitant. The first option to go through my head was to rend a Uhaul and just load everything into it ourselves, but then i decided my back would like me much better if i didn't do any heavy lifting at all. So step two of this move was finding a moving company. First option was to call some of the moving company flyers that are left in our building, but all of them sounded a little sketchy to me. Then I found the Pasadena Moving Company and they really put me at ease. There is something to say about a company that doesn't have a telephone recording, rather just have a human pick up the phone and help you out right away. The salesperson over the phone was SUPER friendly and very easy to deal with. I felt like I was calling some start-up in silicon valley, as opposed to some sketchy moving company where the sales people (if you get a salesperson and not a machine) have some weird heavy accent and do not sound pleasing at all. Anyways, these guys are true professionals. We had a grand piano that my grandfather gifted us a year ago, and they handled it like champs. Everything was super smooth and the movers were just as friendly as the salesperson on the phone. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move. Our move had two parts, first was to pack up our place in Pasadena, then stop in Burbank to pick up some stuff from a storage unit, and then deliver everything to the final address in La  Canada. Everything fit into their giant truck, and Eddie was a dream to work with. 10 stars! read more

We just purchased our first vacation home in Lake Arrowhead so we were looking for moving services here, on Yelp. We needed very reliable people to move our really old and delicate furniture to the location. Based on the high ratings, really good reviews, and yelp deal that they were offering, we decided to stop our search on them. On the way we had to make an extra stop at the Home Depot to load some building supplies for on going construction on the location and we were very worried not to spend a lot of time, because they charge hourly. Let me tell you this... They were so careful with our old furniture that I was really surprised. I think even I wouldn't have done better job myself. They wrapped all the furniture in blankets and taped them to avoid breakage. They work really fast; Trust me please, they don't waste your money/time. In addition, Victor, Luis, and Jason worked so hard. Helped my husband in picking up the supplies from Home Depot and load them in the truck. I really want to underline that they work really fast! On the final location unloading was the very easy and fast. These boys made our long and hard day MUCH, MUCH EASIER!! all together was finished withing 9 hours!! With an extra stop!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EASY, FAST, AND FUN MOVING WITH REASONABLE PRICE, THESE GUYS ARE FOR YOU!! We moved from a 3 bedroom to another 3 bedroom on March 10, 2017 with a distance of 12 miles.It was my first time to use movers and I diligently searched a company that had experience moving an upright wooden piano. This was a priority because a piano is an investment (my wife and daughter play) and will last a long time.Our piano needed to be moved at 2nd floor via stairs. This company had 2 positive yelp comments that convinced me. So this makes the third recommendation. Here is a quick summary: Pros : 3 hour minimum charge (most movers are 4 hour minimum). Arrived early, pleasant attitude and helpful. My wife suddenly rearranged the furniture on our new apartment based on what she thinks is best (if your married you know that they can change their minds quickly) So the movers waited (they get paid anyway) and shuffled the furniture in the new apartment. The move was easy and I was happy and impressed. I hired 4 movers for 3 1/2 hours and it is almost the same price for 3 movers at 4 hour minimum. Cons: They have a slightly higher price than the rest but if you think you can move within 3 hours you will save money. Overall, our piano and all the rest of the furniture are fine. Alberto and Jose did an excellent job for the move. They packed the furniture well as well as the other items. They were quick, friendly, and professional. First they inspected the home, then communicated their plan with us, and finally executed per the plan. We had to move just one block, Alberto called 30 minutes before their arrival, and they came on time. They inspected entire home, got the idea of stuff they had to load, and made my husband sign the contract with clear details prior to loading. Although we packed lots of stuff in the boxes, still some of the stuff was lose and scattered. They got big closet boxes and asked us to put the lose items in them. Initially we thought, we will have to make numerous trip by our own car to take the lose items, but we have very less stuff remaining. Alberto was friendly and made nice small talks with my 7 year old son. While unloading at the new place, they were careful, none of the furniture was damaged. My wife and I decided to move and we looked for movers to help us. We have a ton of books with eight bookcases that needed to come with us, but did not want haul them ourselves. We found Pasadena Moving Company on Yelp and were highly recommended by the yelping community. They did not disappoint. They gave me a time and they arrived on time. There is horrible parking at our old apartment and could not park in front of our place. They had a no problem we can do this attitude that we appreciated. We live on the second floor and our staircase is small. This too was no problem for Alex, Victor, and Jose. They were diligent and efficient. I felt bad that they had to carry 48 boxes full of books down those stairs. Three hours later, our apartment was packed and ready to be moved. The unloading and reassembling of furniture took two hours and we were done. This was a little harder because our new place is having new flooring installed. From start to finish they were a great company to deal with. Vincent (the supervisor on the job) and his two younger colleagues worked incredibly hard. They didn't stop for a minute! They were extremely careful with our belongings as well as being cautious and respectful of the property we moved out of and the new one we moved into. I just used Pasadena Moving Company to move into my new apartment and I couldn't be happier! I even created a Yelp account to spread the word! They picked everything up from my old place extremely efficiently while still taking all of the proper steps to ensure that nothing was damaged. They then made 2 separate stops on the way to my apartment so I could pick up a new furniture set from a furniture store and pick up some items I had stored at a friends and they couldn't have been nicer about it. They got everything in my new place and set everything up perfectly and didn't even complain when I changed my mind about where I wanted everything. They were happy to help move everything around to make sure I was one hundred percent satisfied with my new setup. I can't say enough good things about this company. We had to relocate our business from Pasadena Area to Downtown Los Angeles area. To move 4 office spaces and 2 storage spaces was a challenge for me and i needed to find a professional moving company and preferably serving not only Pasadena area but also the Los Angeles area (Downtown Fashion districts hopefully is my final destination) I had contacted few moving companies, but my final choice was Rose Movers Pasadena because they provided me with a great estimate and had a morning spot available on the day of my move. The move went great, typical stress that everyone experience, but this time I was thrilled cause within 5 hours we were moved into a bigger place and with no problems whatsoever. Talking about be professional!! We were totally going to go with another company. But the other company took a long time for getting as a quote even after they came out for an estimate. And the end up giving us a flat rate anyways. To be fair, we only have big items. Bed, shelf, tv, etc. no boxes. Getting Quote - When we called pasadena company. They quote us right away and was very straight forward. Moving Day - from old place. On the day of move, scheduled for 8. They call right around 8 to inform us they will be late for 30min. Ok, you just don't see people call nowadays for being late. Now that's professional! Fast packing, fast moving, no messing around. Into new place - fast, quick, professional again. This is my second time using PMC and even happier this time! Tito and Anton are my heroes! In my new place I have a super skinny stairway that makes a sharp turn and I was worried my beautiful (and big and heavy) dresser/armoire from Room and Board (which is my favorite piece of furniture) might not fit upstairs. Well thanks to the heroic efforts of Tito and Anton, they carefully wrapped the piece, as well as the railing, and on the second attempt somehow wrangled this thing up and over the metal railing, without a scratch. They could have taken the easy way out and just said sorry it doesn't fit, but they put in the extra effort because they knew it was important to me. She gave me a great deal and honored it right till the end. The movers themselves (Alex, Danny and Anthony) were incredibly hardworking, sincere and extremely pro when it came to moving my stuff. They worked in a concerted fashion without making a fuss over how we had packed the boxes. They did not chit chat amongst themselves or take breaks or delay the process in any way, they just went in there and showcased their expertise without making a big deal out of anything. This is a fantastic moving company. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fast and stress-free move. We used to live in a four story house filled with stairs but it was no problem for Alex and his crew. They somehow managed to take all the stuff out of our old condo and into the truck in a matter of 3 hours! They were very fast and friendly and everything was handled with care and caution. Next, they were able to unload at our new house in another 3 hours and man do they work fast!
