This was truly a 5 star service. I found this business via Yelp Projects. I saw they had great reviews. Noel was super helpful on Yelp giving me the quote and on the phone when we set it up. I got updates through the process. I also loved that for no additional fee they brought wardrobe boxes for me to pack my clothes. You have to commit to the rate for at least 3 hours and they give discounts if you pay in cash. On moving day, our movers Paul and Anthony showed up within the arrival window. Both of them were very friendly and didn't really want me lifting a finger through the process-- which I loved. They made sure to wrap up all of my furniture so it wouldn't get damaged. Viktor and his crew (Ben and Slava) did an amazing job of moving all of our stuff almost 3 hours north of where we had been. They worked tirelessly non-stop, were very detail oriented and very respectful and were willing to accommodate any special requests without a problem. Once we arrived at our new home (after an already really long day), we realized their truck wouldn't be able to fit down our long driveway to the house due to some low hanging branches and telephone lines, so we had to scramble. Viktor came up with the idea to use my pickup truck as a shuttle to go back and forth between their moving truck and our house to speed up the process. While not ideal and having to make many many trips, his idea did end up saving us a lot of time which otherwise would've lasted all night. Pricing was transparent from the very beginning and Viktor went over the final calculations very carefully with me at the end of the evening. The men that moved our belongings were very strange. They most certainly were NOT professional movers. If you want to have professional movers who know how to handle your belongings and not gouge you, look elsewhere. Their wrapping of our items was horrible. Nothing was protected well. I do NOT know why negative reviews get removed. Something is wrong here. I do not know how on earth anyone would give this company the reviews they do. They encourage cash payment and the receipt is UNMARKED. There is no recourse. Max is a scammer. He low balls the price so you hire them and the foreman speaks a foreign language the entire time to the crew. They work slowly to bill you more. I originally thought I didn't have a lot of staff, but when you start moving everything around, it just seems to multiply! If I have had tried moving myself, I would be shocked at the amount of work or my dog ​​would chew on all the boxes, lol But thanks to the guys, they worked hard and steady to load and unload everything at my new place quickly and very carefully. Our move was extremely efficient, the fastest I've ever experienced. 2 bed, 2 bath apt on the 5th floor (with elevator) to a single family residence 1 story in 4 hours (including travel, loading, unloading). They also disassembled my king size bed with 4 drawers, couch, dresser and coffee table and left them on the street for bulky item pick up during that time. It took 7 hours for 3 men to pack a 1 bedroom apartment WITH my help. It probably would have taken them another two hours if I didn't assist. I've moved 6 times in last 8 years and it was evident these men had little experience packing and moving furniture. For example, when packing the china they wrapped the stack of plates together as one big stack opposed to individually wrapping each dish. Thankfully nothing broke but I've never seen something so bizarre done by professional movers. I have large computer monitors for work (they should have been treat like tvs wrapped in blankets. When I unpack them, I found them at the bottom of a wardrobe box with no protection around them. Another example, They tried to dump my belongs out of the boxes in the new location so that they could collect the cardboard boxes and bring them back to their wear-house. And they tried to arrange the couch before laying out the carpet. While this wasn't the worst moving experience, it certainly was not a 5 star experience either. read more
