They were quick and that was good. I did not anticipate how dirty the truck would be and the movers would get. I should have wrapped everything in cloth and plastic to prevent my lamp shades and box frame from being ruined. Although the plastic mattress protector I had was punctured in multiple areas, so I don't know if it would have helped. They didn't assemble my bed frame correctly and I'm missing screws now. Make sure to pack your boxes like they will flip them on their side or upside down. One mover asked me multiple times who would be living with me, which was creepy. I am grateful that they moved my large items, but even more that I moved all of my fragile and delicate items on my own. read more

We attempted to find a good reliable mover and it was difficult to sort through all the available options. We even tried a "kayak"- like search engine that lets you receive calls from multiple moving companies. Well don't do that unless you really like being spammed with so many emails and calls plus people who call and say "We want to confirm the time for your move on June 19." Pushy bastids. Eesh. We had a good feeling from the reviews for Pasadena Moving Co. Never was there anything but straightforward customer care and professionalism. My husband is a really really tough critic and he says - "Rave about these guys- give them a 5!!!" This guy never gave Fogo de Chao or Landry's in LA more than 3.5. Dennis and a team of four guys showed up at 8:45am as promised. They packed our 2 bedroom townhouse in about 3 hours. We were going from LA County to Las Vegas today. The guys explained that the rave Electric Daisy Carnival would increase traffic plus the weather was going to be hotter than Bobby Flay's grill. They suggested they bring our goods same evening, yesterday June 19, so they could meet up with us today in mid morning. We liked their knowledge and strategic planning. They had to slog out to Las Vegas to bring the truckload and return facing the crazy traffic. We called when we arrived and they came right over. A few heavy items needed to be placed. Dennis and Sonny and their workers were superb!!! Please feel free to private message me if you want more details. THAT is GREAT customer service, changing my 1-star review to 3-stars. Initial review: Beware of THEFT!!! Paid $844 for a partial 1 bedroom apartent move of 20 miles, plus $20 tip each, plus lunch for two movers, Daniel and Nicholas. Discovered later that Nicholas had stolen some hair product from me (CREW molding clay), and I am 100% sure he stole it as Daniel never went into my bathroom and also has a shaved head so has no reason to steal hair product. I saw the product in their truck and Nicholas claimed it was his, and I could not verify it was mine until I got home later and checked my bathroom and mine was gone (I had used it that very morning). I'm dreading discovering what else was stolen as I continue to unpack, but I highly doubt Nicholas only stole hair product. I was very kind to this 20 year old kid, fed him lunch, tipped him, and treated him very well. In return NICHOLAS STOLE FROM ME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Hi future movers. This is my first time using a moving company and I have to be honest and say I was leery about all moving companies. I read the Yelp reviews and Pasadena Moving Co.had great reviews so I selected them to help me move. I called on a Wednesday afternoon for a Thursday morning move (20 ish miles from Pasadena) which they were able to accommodate. The three man team of Alex, Victor and Zolt were awesome. They were very careful and packed my stuff so there were no damages. These are hardworking, professional, curtious and friendly guys. The guys worked well together and each had their own job to do. They sure do know how to pack a moving truck...it was like Tetris. I almost forgot to mention the flat rate fee, no hidden charges and they disassemble/reassemble furniture, appliances and can take mounted TVs off the wall. I loved that! Plus they packed my two bookcases full of book and used my boxes...another plus! Alex explained everything (fees) before the work began and explained the final cost...no hidden fees! They were fast and did the move with like 45 minutes to spare of the minimum 3 hours, but could have been much quieter on a Sunday morning (my landlord got a bit pissed at me for it). I would have preferred they took a little bit more of the time I paid for and carried the handtruck down the stairs instead of slamming it down every time they went back for more stuff. I have used Pasadena Moving Company 2 previous times and decided to use them again for a 3rd move. I could not be happier. Armen showed up as requested at 10am and moved everything I had in storage with his coworker in less than 20mins. Drove to my house and dropped off everything in 1 swoop. I had other items that needed rearranging within the house and others that needed to go into the guest house. He was more than happy to help. I high recommend them for moving. Note for all you future movers. If you have everything packed and ready to move, it will be quick and easy for them to pick it up and move it to stay within the 3hr minimum. Moving is stressful, so it was wonderful to find a no-nonsense moving company that does a great job, has energetic and friendly workers, shows up on time, and doesn't add-on a ton of extra fees at the end. We recently moved suites at my work and needed a lot of big things moved from one office to another. I called to find out their availability, and I was able to set an appointment immediately. They sent 2 guys, Alex and Victor, and they were great. My boss and I ended up tacking on a lot more tasks than I had originally booked them for, and the guys stayed and did everything without any hesitation. They moved everything very quickly and efficiently. We had many different requests for different parts of the office, and they remembered everything without us having to remind them. I wasn't involved in the scheduling, but I can speak to the moving process and the three employees who moved our 4-office suite into a storage facility: The team of three men arrived on time and got straight to work. Alex oversaw the team and was very courteous and professional. He had me check and double check each office so that they were on point with moving only what was going into storage; otherwise, they were self-sufficient and required little else from me. Alex was very patient and and kind, explaining all of the costs as we went (i.e., extra boxes) and during final payment. All three men (Alex, Victor, and Saul) were all hard-working and efficient. They were a great team, and I could tell that they knew what they were doing. Given that the company was charging us hourly, it was impressive to see that they never stopped to take an extended break or loaf around. When it came time to unload the boxes and furniture into the storage unit, the location of our unit was super inconvenient (at the very end of a very long corridor); yet I seemed to be more bothered than they were! The guys never complained and got the job done quickly. We will be moving into our new office next month and look forward to working with these guys again! read more

Alex and Victor were amazing! Showed up early, worked really fast and were both so careful with all my belongings. I will be using them for every move from now on! Update: While the moving experience was pleasant, trying to get the company to answer my calls about items damaged during the move was not. I had a box of collectible wedding glass, all of which was broken during the move. I emailed multiple times and called about the issue and didn't receive a response. Frustrated, I left a very angry message and finally got a return call. I was asked to take photos of the broken items, and email it to them, which I did. And once again I did not get a response. I called and emailed again, and finally got one returned call, which I missed and promptly called back 60 seconds later, knowing how hard it was to get ahold of them. Left another voice mail, and still have not gotten a response from anyone since then. It has now been almost 2 months since I moved. I give up, moving on as I'm tired of hounding them over this. Update 12/4: After this review I got a call from Pasadena Movers asking how they could rectify the situation. They stayed on top of processing my refund for broken items and I'm once again a happy customer! read more

We had chose this company because of multiple 5 star reviews. Believe me, Jackson and Antonio truly earned the five stars. They were extremely professional and friendly. Our condo is on the opposite side of the service elevator in the building which meant moving great distances just to get to the truck. However these guys did it and did it with efficiency. Even the drive over to the destination was done quite quickly, remember most moving companies charge double time during the drive. We were extremely pleased with the overall experience and the best movers I've used so far. Will I use them if I move, hell yes! read more

Label well so you know exactly what room to have them put it in to save time & money. Also, pre-pack/cover/wrap, whatever you need to do in advance! You'll end up spending a fortune on boxes/plastic/bubblewrap if you get it from them. This moving company helped me with my local move. They called me ahead of time to inform me that they were on their way to my place. They showed up within the specified time. Alberto and Elmer both worked hard and fast. They loaded my 1 bedroom apt in 1hr 20 minutes. They unloaded my belongings in my new apt in less than two hours. Total move time was 3.5 hours. It was nice that the move was fast so I had the rest of the day to unpack! I recommend paying cash since they have a different price vs credit card payment. Also, any extra materials such as mattress cover is extra ($20 each) so keep that in mind. Thanks so much for making the moved smooth! read more

This is a well run company and is very reasonably priced! From the get go, they were very responsive and courteous. In making my reservation, explaining the details, answering questions, and giving me a phone call to confirm the move. I was assigned Alberto, Jason, and Douglas who called prior to arrival and arrived on time. Very courteous guys and very strong too!! We packed a lot of stuff in boxes already but there was still lot of loose items to pack. They sold us a few boxes at reasonable prices and tape as well. All items and furnitures were packed very professionally and handled with care. Things that I didn't even care too much about were handled with excellent care. These guys work hard and fast. They don't sit around and take their time even though they are paid hourly. I highly recommend them. When we arrived at our destination, they moved everything in quickly and exactly where we wanted them to. They made a otherwise stressful day very easy! read more

I moved on Halloween 10/31 and reserved 2 guys. The move took an necessary 7.5 hrs to move a 1 bedroom. I moved 2 yrs prior from a further distance and it took 6 hrs. I believe the major difference was these boys were gone for long periods of time and every time I turned they were on their phones. At one point they took so long to return, I went downstairs and only one of them was organizing the furniture. The other guy was MIA. They also did not come equipped with tools. Needless to say, they did not remove my dining table legs and did not remove the sofa legs....which ALL prior companies did to ensure protection. Consequently, my sofa is scratched and dining table legs have deep scuffs and chipped wood (see pics). I also believe my furniture was damaged because they do not put the blankets on until they get to the truck. Therefore, from the apt to elevator to truck, the furniture is not protected, leaving many opportunities for damage. Furthermore, they removed my bed slants with a knife and only screwed 4 nails and lost the rest (or at least did not screw all 12 back). Lastly, they took a lunch break which was also factored in my time. Overall, receptionist was the only pleasant experience. The movers were not efficient, were careless, and were distracted by their phones. read more

From the get-go, when I called Pasadena Movers to inquire about cost, until we were completely moved and signed the paperwork at the end, they were polite, professional, and hard working. We had no complaints. I had all my questions answered over the phone and scheduled the move all within about 10 minutes. We moved from a two bedroom to a three, and were recommended 3 movers for $105 per hour (I think, might have been $110) which we got. They arrived on time (8:45AM) within the hour window I was told they would (8-9AM). Before they started moving, they did a walk through and estimated it would take 5-6 hours. They did a great job moving everything, despite having to navigate stairs at the starting location, and no furniture or anything was damaged or lost. They finished in exactly 5 hours. There were a few extra costs for them to box up the televisions and computer monitors, but you are given the choice to not have them do that and take your chances. The caveat there is that if you don't have them box them, they will not reimburse for damages. I believe the 55 inch flatscreen was $55 for them to pack \]and the 32" was $35. I'm not sure how much the computer monitors were supposed to be, but he gave me a flat rate for these extras and added in the 2 computer monitors for $100 total. All-in-all I am pleased with the service we received and would not hesitate to use them again. read more

I booked this company primarily due to the yelp reviews. Tito, Bruce and Zolt made our move so much more enjoyable than I ever imagined it would be. There were on time, hustled the entire time and were very careful with our items. They were extremely easy going and we were joking the majority of the time (it took 7 hours to move a 3 bedroom condo). They even helped put our bed together since they knew we would need a good night sleep. I would have given the review the full 5 stars if it wouldn't have been for the issues at booking. When I initially called I was quoted a price for 3 guys. I thought the price was reasonable but when I went on their website to get tips on packing, I noticed the prices were different (about a $15 an hour difference). When I called to inquire about the price difference I felt like I got the run around and finally a "manager" named Dennis told me that the website was outdated and the prices I was quoted over the phone were correct. I thought he handled that conversation unprofessional and was rude. A few minutes later I was contacted by another manager Dave who confirmed that the website was outdated however would honor the online price plus gave me 10% off on top of that. Overall we had a great experience with these movers and would recommend them to friends. I would suggest that the company update their website in order to avoid another customer being confused. read more
