Amazing service and such a clean place. I came in, gave my keys, sat in a nice clean office (which has coffee, water, tea and lots of magazines) while my car was tested. I've taken my car to Pasadena Test Only & Smog Check the last two times my car was due for smog certification. My friend that lives in the area recommended Alen's shop even when it was at the former location not too far away from where it is now... This location at Walnut & Greenwood is the only one I've been to.... I've not only found Alen, the owner, to very good at his job but he is also a very nice guy. He knows a lot about cars, doesn't try to charge you extra and he's just a plain hard-working business owner. This was the best experience I've ever had in terms of any kind of service on my car. I arrived at 9am. There was one customer Alen was wrapping up with and then it was my turn. He started at 9:05am and I was pulling out of the garage at 9:20am! What!?!! No joke. He did his thing, we filled out the paperwork and I was out the door in 15 minutes!!! The reviews are believable. The only thing I'll add is driving advice. They are located right where Foothill turns into Walnut (if you're heading west on Foothill). It's essentially a three way intersection. The safest thing to do is turn left onto Greenwood and enter the property from that side. Yes: I am a smog check procrastinator. I admit it. Luckily there are places for people like us. I called these guys to see what time they would be closing. Answer: very soon, but they offered to wait until closing time for me (I feel bad divulging that as all the other smog check procrastinators out there will probably take advantage of that knowledge).
