I needed a smog check to transfer title to my name. Drove up and was helped right away. My car is lowered and if you own a lowered car you know about scraping and dragging in driveways and such. When Alen moved the car up into the shop he did so at an angle so as not to damage the car. I knew right then, this guy cares and is very professional. We had good a good conversation as we waited for the testing to complete. My neighbor highly recommended Alen's shop as a reliable place to go to get my car serviced for an oil change. Typically I perform my own oil changes not for cost but because I generally don't trust most shops with this routine task. However, I was pressed for time this year and decided to give it a go at this shop. I called a day before, and Alen tried to make sure he would have the filter and oil ready for my Pacifica Hybrid before I came in. I arrived at around 9 AM the next day, and fortunately did not have customers ahead of me. His seating area is close to the vehicle, and you get a front row seat to viewing how much care he puts into his work. You can be convinced when he says that he treats his customers' cars like his own. The guy is extraordinarily friendly and honest. He spent extra effort that morning to ensure that his hydraulic lift would not damage the underside of my new van. We also discussed options for oil so that I would not have to spend more money than I needed to. My price of $85 (synthetic oil change) was very reasonable, considering he also topped off fluids (windshield washer), tire pressure, and a quick check of other items. I will continue to visit his shop as long as I need some basic tasks taken care of and I am short on time to do the work myself. read more
