I'm so happy we decided to have lunch here today instead of the other place we were thinking about. I wanted Italian food but when I saw Hot Pastrami sandwich on the menu I decided to order it because I have not found a good Hot Pastrami sandwich in a long time. My husband ordered the Italian Sausage sandwich and a beer. My Hot Pastrami sandwich did not disappoint. The pastrami was excellent and the bread was soft inside but crunchy on the outside just the way I like it. My husband's Italian Sausage sandwich was also very good and came with a small bowl of marinara. He said that marinara was excellent! The service was not bad considering there was only one server taking care of everyone including the bar. I definitely want to come back for dinner sometime. read more

When we walked in from the cold, the restaurant was warm and fragrant with smells of yummy Italian food!! This is our favorite Italian / Pizza place we had mozzarella sticks with marinara for dipping, breadsticks with garlic butter for dipping salad with Italian dressing, lasagna and the Venetian pizza. I love this place but today my friend picked up Chicken Parmesan and it was so bad. The chicken tasted awful like not fresh and we didn't even get a half of a breast just 3 little chunks and with a little spaghetti. We ordered meat sauce and it was a little bit of plain sauce. The pizza (half veggie/half meat) was loaded with toppings to the extreme which overwhelmed the crust and it needed more flavor in the sauce. And what sauce there was didn't have meat! Pasta completely tasteless and the tiny amount of sauce tasted and had consistency of paste. Photos attached. Not even Round Table cost that much. They also tried to charge me an extra dollar for the box because I wanted to order to go which is pathetic. No pizza place should charge extra for a box. The pizzas are LOADED with fresh toppings. The staff is very courteous. It's a very small joint so I always take out. A treasure in Carmichael. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend the pizza. read more

Looks like a cute neighborhood joint from the pictures, but I wouldn't order the pizza again for delivery. Not convinced the crusts are handmade and dry from lack of sauce. The sauce on the BBQ chicken pizza was just too sweet. Wings were ok for baked, but seemed small. Would be curious to try some of their entrees & definitely eat-in. read more

We decided to give this place a shot tonight thinking if they're charging $38 for a medium three-topping it must be phenomenal. Let me tell you folks this was not the case... This was one of the worst pizzas we have had in years. The cardboard flavor crust was way too thick and thus not fully cooked in the middle. The sauce and cheese had almost no flavor whatsoever. The toppings were actually overloaded making the pie basically inedible. The entire pizza was completely covered with mushrooms which were then completely covered with onions and peppers making a two inch thick bite mostly of half cooked vegetables. If we had not picked this up as a to go order it would have been sent back to the kitchen. In summation: Roundtable is delivering a superior product for at least $15 less. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Listen... I've been to a LOT of Italian restaurants and pizzerias. A lot of them makes unsubstantiated claims about being the best of this or that. Which most of us learn quickly they are not the best of anything. Lucky for us, Pasquales... is not like that, they make no claims, they are a humble hard working family ram establishment and I will say for them: Best pizza and Italian in the greater area! The lasagna is amazing, the calzones, the pizza, the beer selection. Oh my... look at the pictures! Tell me it doesn't look amazing, and guess what it taste better than it looks too! There's a lot of love in that place and they make you feel that love. You can see the hard work when you're there. I go out of my way to come through and get lasagna and pizza often! It's worth the 45 min trip. Do yourself a favor, order some food up and tell me you don't feel the same way I do. read more

Omg their pizza is expensive! Two large was nearly $90. But the good news is OMG they were delicious. They're so packed with toppings you can only eat one or two slices. I pass by this place often and today decided to give it a try based on other reviews, the place is small and quaint, looks like a nice place for the family to come (probably full on weekends) , we had two pizzas (my wife wants veggies and I need meat ) and they were very good - the crust coulda been toasted a bit more , the sauce was good and toppings excellent, I'd definitely order from here again, so why 4 stars ? I ordered by phone and didn't get a price , when I got the bill : $82 for two medium pizzas , now being in business myself I know prices of everything has increased in the last couple yrs, plus retaining good help requires paying well ... It was just an unexpected surprise, not to say I'd not ordered if told how much by phone just at that price I woulda liked to know in advance. I guess it's time for an updated review. They are not even in the same location as the first time I reviewed, so staffing and some of the things I didn't like really don't apply. The breadsticks and salad are still the best and well as their ranch. I did try the pizza again recently and it was better than I remembered. They definitely DO NOT skimp on the toppings. First time eating at Pasquales, as I'm trying to support the mom & pops' places during these Covid times. Ordered a large combo pizza, calamari, and wings for pick-up, of course. Used the "slice" ap, as directed on their website and used a $5 off coupon code I came across on FB. Ready in 50 minutes. Found them in a little strip mall on Fair Oaks Blvd, near San Juan. Pulled up and called them to check on my order since I wasn't sure if they were doing curbside of if I could go in. Friendly lady said they were just slicing my pizza. I walked in and was greeted right away by the friendly lady on the phone, who was donning a mask (thank God) and was about to take my food to my car. I honestly hate getting takeout, even pizza, because I like to eat my food straight from the oven/stove/kitchen. So they definitely get 5 stars for service and food being ready as scheduled. The Pasquales combo (pepperoni, housemade sausage, salami, black olives, and mushrooms) was delicious, but the crust was a little too thick and doughy for my taste. Sauce, toppings, and cheese were in good portions and flavorful. Calamari were small battered rings that seemed over fried, served with marinara sauce. Big portion for the price but probably wouldn't order again. Chicken wings were good, standard. Not the best pizza I've had, but a solid option for real Italian pizza, and not a chain! Highly recommend Pasquale's. This is a hidden gem of the Carmichael/Fair Oaks/ Gold River area! The place is small but a lot of tables for seating. This place is an amazing place to get a slice of pizza. When you check in on yelp. You do get a check in offer for a half order of breadsticks as well! They are yummy! When you come in, you get that feel of a cute little little italian resturant that is just so warm and cozy. I was actually greeted by a super nice, super friendly server that took our order and brought us some drinks. She had full kwnoledge of the menue and was very helpfull in the proscess of making a choices. The food was hot and super fresh. we ended up with a hawian pizza and added some jalapeno's into the mix. The dough was actually perfectly cooked. The pizza was hot and had that awesome cheese that streched for miles. I was so happy to have found this cute little place and I will be back for more when I am in the area.
