Spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Parmesan sausage pizza

Great place clean , fast service most of all great food. Loved it!! Great tasting sauce like papa made. Crispy bottom on pizza love it .

The breadsticks are ridiculously delicious!! The mozzarella sticks were so good and not greasy like they can be at other restaurants!!

When we walked in from the cold, the restaurant was warm and fragrant with smells of yummy Italian food!! This is our favorite Italian / Pizza place we had mozzarella sticks with marinara for dipping, breadsticks with garlic butter for dipping salad with Italian dressing, lasagna and the Venetian pizza. Everything was delicious and the service was great. We will be back to try more yummy food!!

Takeout order of spaghetti and meat sauce and spaghetti, meat sauce, and meatballs, one side salad, and garlic bread placed and picked up. Almost no sauce on the pasta! And what sauce there was didn't have meat! Pasta completely tasteless and the tiny amount of sauce tasted and had consistency of paste. Photos attached. I contacted the store and they offered to remake the meal (I couldn't go back for pick up) or $10.00 on my next order. That really irked me as there was a $5.00 coupon in the bag. I requested a 50% refund, no go.

    Small pepperoni with mushroom.

The service was friendly and fast. I love the pizza dough and the sauce! We ordered a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza and it was delicious. They murdered the pizza with mushrooms. They tend to go heavy on the veggies. That is not a bad thing! It's a small dining area, very clean. They have happy hour from 4-6 with half price appetizers and wine!

    Holy bread!!!!

Pizza was cold. The bruschetta wasn't good. No balsamic vinegar plus the bread had huge holes in it. Definitely not worth $9. Maybe try elsewhere....

I ordered for the first time on New Year's Eve. The medium Vegetarian arrived hot and must have weighed five pounds! It was amazing! Loaded with chunks of veg and cheese. Delivered on time by Grub Hub. For sure my favorite pizza place from now on.

Are you considered celiac safe? Is the gluten free pizza prepared without cross contamination with gluten?

We prepare our gluten free pizza in a separate tray that remains isolated throughout the entire process including the oven. Please indicate any gluten allergies at ordering so we follow the correct protocols thereafter.

What happened to Bellini's Pizza? I see they are closed, what happened? So, Pasquale's replaced Bellini's?

The landlord, Ethan Conrad, was going to raise their rent considerably according to Bellini's owner (in a conversation I had with him). He said he simply could not afford the rent increase and stay in business. A shame really that Fair Oaks lost…

In know where Pasquale's is but the other day I saw a sign right up the street in a strip mall that had a new pizza place called Pasquale's Pizza where the donut/deli is at Fair Oaks and San Juan. Same place?

Everyone was smiling and friendly. We got the combination dinner plate for $23. It was a great way to try 3 different things. This was good. The Ravioli was ok. Not too good. But the rest was great tasting. We got some skinny, warm bread sticks with butter. Bread was... meh. Could have been better. They have dessert at the counter you can buy. But we didn't get any. We wanted gelato next door for dessert. It was quiet. Ambiance was nice. Easy to hear each other. Mood light. Over all, this restaurant was nice. The foods were just ok. But love the friendly and nice staffs. Oh! I saw they charged an extra charge on my receipt. A "Non Cash Adjustment Fee" of $0.89. Don't know what that is. I know its only a little. But wasn't too thrill to see that. Wish they made it known there will be extra charges. That's all.

With that context, we don't take Italian food lightly. That's exactly why Ippolito's Trattoria stands out. Nick, the owner, is there seven days a week. Whether he's running the kitchen like a true master or walking the dining room checking in with guests, his presence is constant. His wife is often by his side, and together they've built something that feels less like a restaurant and more like a family. The staff reflects that--welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. Now, the food. The chicken parmigiana is massive--easily two meals--and executed perfectly. The chicken is tender, well-seasoned, and balanced. We usually start with calamari or a shared salad, both consistently excellent. I'm especially particular about carbonara, and this is the only place in Sacramento that truly gets it right. No shortcuts. No cream. No smoked bacon. They respect the tradition--using proper ingredients like guanciale or pancetta and incorporating the egg the way it's meant to be. It's easily the best carbonara I've had in years. The arancini are another highlight. If you've ever made them at home, you know the effort involved--this is the real deal. Crispy outside, rich and flavorful inside, and absolutely authentic. The bread is baked fresh daily by Nick, and it shows. The pasta is artisan-quality, also made fresh, and sourced from a trusted local partner. Every detail reflects care and intention. Dessert is not an afterthought here. The tiramisu--made in-house--is flawless. And the cannoli? Outstanding. The shells have the perfect crunch, and the fillings are rich without being overpowering. Even the pizzelle cookies are done right. It's no surprise they've earned recognition, including: Best Italian Restaurant in Sacramento Best Restaurant Overall in Sacramento Beyond the food, Nick is active in the community and gives back, which only adds to the experience. We've enjoyed this place so much that we've chosen them to cater my 60th birthday for 20 very discerning Italian family members--many of whom we've already brought here, all with the same glowing reactions. If there's any criticism to address, it's usually from people saying the food isn't salty or herb-heavy enough. That misses the point. This is balanced, authentic cooking--where ingredients shine without being masked. I've been to Papa Gianni's in Cameron Park dozens of times over the years, and it's a great spot. But when it comes to the Sacramento region, Ippolito's Trattoria is my go-to, without question.

Food: There is a nice variety of food options as well as a special that our server thoroughly explained to us. We started with an appetizer of Brussels sprouts and a shared beet and apple salad. We settled on the salmon and penne vodka pasta for our entrees. The Brussel sprouts were so good with small strips of bacon and a nice aioli to dip them in. The Salad was complex and excellent and our entrees were absolutely outstanding. Salmon was cooked to perfection and the pasta was delicious with the perfect tenderness (I don't care for overcooked pasta). The sausages in the pasta were great and the sauce was rich. After dinner we both had coffee and tried their butterscotch pudding and a lemon cheesecake. OMG were they amazing!! I highly recommend either of them. Service: We had an amazing server, Kim, who was thorough, prompt and fun. Our salad, entree, and dessert were timed well and we never had to wait too long. As for my entree, I ordered the chicken rigatoni. I didn't get to really enjoy it because I was super full by the time it came out. It was saucy and tasted good with the chicken bites.
