Found this place by accident while passing through the area and had a very good meal. I had the meatball parmigiana hero and my wife had the Italian Trio panini. Both were fresh and tasted great. My hero was decent sized, hot, and had a generous amount of sliced meatballs and melted cheese. My wife's panini was large, on ciabatta bread baked fresh in the restaurant, and had an appropriate amount of meat. The gentleman that waited on us was exceptionally polite and pleasant, something generally in short supply these days. All in a a great experience, would highly recommend! read more

I got a ribeye steak here and despite being way overcooked for my liking, it was AMAZING! It was on the dinner special and simply spiced to perfection. While dining, the smell of pizza was calling me. I've been back twice for pizza, just this weekend alone, on my mountain bike via the rail trail. My friends and I are staying in Gardiner for the weekend and decided to order Pasquales for delivery last night. We were hungry, and despite the negative reviews for slow delivery, we decided to order from here anyway. Unfortunately the reviews were true. Delivery was slow and even though we were only a 6 minute drive from the restaurant, the food was all cold and needed to be reheated. Now for the food, I ordered the chicken parm sub and mozzarella sticks. I really wasn't a fan of the mozzarella sticks. The cheese wasn't stretch like I like it and the outer breading was oily. But maybe this was due to me needing to reheat the food in the microwave? The chicken parm was pretty standard. It wasn't anything special but it tasted fine. Overall, the delivery was slow and the food was just ok. I'm not sure I would order delivery again but maybe I would try something else on the menu if I stopped into the actual restaurant next time I'm in Gardiner! read more

I think this place deserves better than 3 stars. I didn't even look at these reviews before going, thankfully. We sat outside (I didn't realize you had to actually go inside to be seated... they might want to put up a sign if that's an official thing), love those concrete tables with the umbrella! Our waitress was really sweet and accommodating. The pizza was exactly what I was craving... I was really happy with it. Believe it or not, even better than that was the sautéed broccoli. Place is situated nearby Minnewaska state park & has both indoor & outdoor seating. The staff is friendly & attentive & even provided us with free WiFi when we asked. The portions are generous & some meals come with soup or salad. Pizza always hits differently after a hike and the Margherita pizza we ordered was so GOOD, but would definitely taste good anytime. The Stromboli I ordered was HUGE and really delicious which you can customize; I got chicken & broccoli. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Marsala combo with shrimp & the sauce was amazing. The only thing I did not like was the lasagna fritters or the tortellini soup. The fritters didn't taste like lasagna, which I don't really mind, but the filling was under seasoned and pretty bland. The tortellini soup was too salty for my taste, and for $3.95 I expected maybe a bit more soup. Both the fritters & soup were cold, which could be due to the fact that it was a bit chilly outside, but I'm not sure if that was the case. Overall, I would probably come back here for the pizza & Stromboli but I would skip the fritters & soup next time, or maybe order a salad because I saw many people order it & the portions were HUGE. read more

Quiet, outdoor seating, nice music, this was exactly what we needed after ignoring trail markers and needlessly adding 4 miles to our hike. The Shrimp Parmesan is very good & baked stuffed Shells. Salads are fresh too. The Cobb Salad is huge. The Ingredients they use for their pizza are quality cheeses and sauce . The staff That Cooks it's all up are good at what they Do. Service is Very Good. They Do get very busy at times especially in the summer when the patio gets packed! you just have to be a little patient . It will be worth it. Prices are reasonable. I Highly recommend it , in the most Beautiful Town I think, in The Hudson Valley. This Restaurant, Trattoria is a Gem within it. Pasquale's in Gardiner has been our go to pizza joint for years. Sadly, the manager who brought life to the place ( Chris) is no longer there. It has been awhile since he left, but the difference in the atmosphere is still palpable. The wait staff are wonderful, however, Chris used to make the rounds of the dining room , greeting customers, joking etc. After all this time, I'm still not sure who is in charge when the owner isn't present. ( an owner who has never acknowledged our existence btw). The music is played so loudly at times I can not hear what we are talking about. So the negative aside, the pizza is wonderful. Consistent, hot, crispy. The menu is varied with something for everyone. The garlic knots are large , really garlicky, soft and delicious. Service is fast as is the kitchen. No complaints there. I will say with the loud music and how cold they keep the dining room , we don't go as often, but I do recommend it. read more

Five years ago this rating would have been at least a four, maybe higher. about a year ago the quality of the pizza started to decline. We bought a takeout pie last week which made the national chain pizzas look good. The base of the pie was thick and chewy, sauce was flavorless, toppings were sparce as well as being somewhat overdone. There are two other restaurants locally by the same name which I would assume are owned by the same company. After finding that the Gardiner location has hit rock bottom the others will bask in the same reputation. Time to give up on Pasquale's. read more

Previously gave 2 stars. (Went here years ago and was extremely disapointed in my visit. It was expensive and the food was a huge let down.) Not sure if new owners or staff but... UPDATE: Out of necessity I ordered from here on New Years day, had guests over and they had to be fed. Called and placed an order for a pizza and a large antipasto salad. They delivered within 30-40 mins as they stated. The salad was very large and delicious. The pizza was flavorful and crisp. With just these 2 items we were able to have about 6 plates of food. The prices are fair for the the portions. We have gone back 2 times since. read more
