Been coming here my entire life and have always loved their food. I had to order out tonight and ordered here since we usually have a good experience. I ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs. 2 things we consistently order over the years. Got home opened the spaghetti and right off the bat could tell it wasn't up to par with past times. Still tried to eat it and after a few bites I couldn't do it anymore. Tasted and looked like chef boy ardee canned spaghetti-- I wish I was kidding. Even my 10 year old daughter said meatballs tasted and smelled like cat food (she usually LOVES it which is why I ordered it). Called to see what could be done--keep in mind I NEVER do this. The young lady who answered was nice and apologized, told me to hold for the manager. Manager named Ricardo came on the line and said "feel free to bring it in today tomorrow anytime this week or month for a refund or we can remake it". Had to drive back at 8PM just to get a refund, my daughter has school in the morning so I couldn't wait for them to remake it. She ended up eating a racetrack hot dog and said even that was better than the spaghetti we were given. Ridiculous and disappointing after I've been a loyal customer for almost 20 years. Sad to say I will probably never be returning after this incident. Don't know if there's new owners or management but the food is FARRRR from what it use to be. It hurts to give this review because I have been coming to Pasta Bella since I moved to GA back in 02'. It has usually been our kids favorite restaurant. Right before two of my kids were born, Pasta Bella was our last meal before heading to the hospital. We've had problems with checking out in the past with split tickets. For several years, Juan (RIP) was our server and was probably the main reason we kept going. But boy, when they get those tickets wrong. It's wrong. Took my son for his birthday. It was about 18 of us. The Server was a little repugnant. We ignored that. Brought our meals out. Never checked in again once we had our meals and asked if we wanted refills at the end of our meal. A little late. Again, we ignored that because we've been coming here for years. The last straw: come ticket time, we split 3 ways, 3 different cards to make it easier. They bring us our receipts. Everything was fine right? Nope. They ended up charging my family member the full amount, meanwhile the other 2 of us signed receipts. We have called to try and get an explanation as to why they changed up the way we were ringed up and basically, we got the "it is what it is" Mail. We have given up. It's unfortunate that this is the way you conduct your business. And to have us sign receipts that are not what showed in our accounts is infuriating and deceiving to say the least. This is shameful and you should be embarrassed that you allowed someone to go back and charge a full amount on someone's tab. I'd give you zero because this is nothing short of stealing someone's money. read more

I grew up in the area so Pasta Bella has been a staple in my family. This is one of the places I recommend to friends who want Italian outside of the cookie cutter Olive Garden type spots. I suggested this to my coworkers and boss for lunch recently and it was a hit! What you should expect.... The ambience: I love the colors and decor as they give you classic Italian vibes. The music selection usually supports the mood as well. The food: I've never had a nasty thing on this menu and trust me when I say I've tried a lot. They saw my vegetarian phase with the eggplant parm all the way to my reckless meat lovers Stromboli days. This particular visit I tried the salmon and pesto pasta. It SLAPS!!! The sauce was delicious and creamy and the noodles were perfectly aldente. They use to serve unlimited garlic knots and sausage with peppers but I think you only get one bowl of the sausage and peppers during dinner. We closed our lunch with this huge chocolate cake that was so decadent. We all shared it...it was that large. The Service: Our server was attentive and kept our glasses full. My only feedback was that our bread was a little hard and cold which is not usual for this place. Also our booth seemed wobbly and would disconnect from the wooden base occasionally but that was a legit first. I say this place is still a must!!! read more

Pasta Bella is definitely a restaurant that serves delicious tasting foods and fresh tasting crisp salads with the meals. The pizza is the best that I have found in the area and that says a lot, since I only eat pizza in New York. My unfortunate complaint with Pasta Bella is there is only one bathroom with two small stalls, one wet countertop sink, that you don't want to touch. I think a business this size with the large crowd they draw seems insulting to it's customers. I hope that the staff has better, sanitary conditions and that Pasta Bella restaurant will expand and remodel the bathrooms. That would be so wonderful. read more

We have frequented this place and the Marietta Diner for decades. The food and service are consistently good. We like the gyros and the sausage and tomato appetizer at Pasta Bella for a great lunch. Portions are generous and we always have leftovers. Getting dessert to take home for later is a treat. But the Chocolate Suicide cake and the transition to cake/cheesecake items were not the same desserts we have bought for years. The icing on the cake tasted like Betty Crocker out of a can. And some cheesecake batter sandwiched between cake layers and cookie crust slathered with icing tasted good but it isn't cheesecake. Wondering if the Diner has changed its recipes too. But at $12 a slice, it might not be worth the test. read more

I stopped in this restaurant after hearing about it on Atlanta Eats. Although it took me almost an hour to get there, it was worth the trip. The dining experience starts with complimentary garlic knots and a bowl of sausage and peppers. It was so good that I wanted to make it my main course The menu has a variety of options to meet anyone's taste. My daughter had a Stromboli and it was amazing. I had the chicken marsala and it was just as good. I will say, come ready to eat because the portions are large. Aside from the food, the staff is very polite and very service oriented. There was a slight error made on one of our orders and the Manager was quickly at our table to correct the problem. I will return to try more dishes from this great restaurant. read more

This place will RUIN your diet, but you'll want to cry tears of joy afterwards. Just like the other restaurants in the family (Marietta Diner, Marietta Seafood Market, Cherokee Cattle Co., etc) the menu is extensive and you will spend most of your time at this place reading through the options of what to get. The lovely smells from the kitchen and your dinner mates will encourage you to hurry and pick something, but don't worry, it's all good. Trust me. It. Is. ALL. Good. They're going to bring you way too much food on your plate. This is after you get your salad and the buttery garlic rolls they bring you (that could be a meal in itself). So you'll eat about 1/4 or maybe even 1/2 of your actual dinner and then you'll realize that they have an entire display of desserts. Oops. That's when when you ask for a to go box for the rest of your meal (aka tomorrow's lunch) and make your way to the counter to pick out your sweet treat to end the dinner. You will want to split the dessert with someone. Those slices are also HUGE. After you've finished eating all of that (the salad, the rolls, the meal, the dessert) you'll sit at your table for a little while because you're just too full to move. You'll look at your to-go box and you'll be so happy that you get to enjoy it again tomorrow... or later that evening. You'll finally make it back to the car and revel in how full and happy you are. Then you'll get home and play games on your phone for a little while in the bathroom because now your body is realizing how much rich food you just indulged in. This is one of my favorite places to eat Italian food not only are they pet friendly on the patio, but the food is always fresh and ready to order. The drinks are a nice mixture of alcohol and ice. I wouldn't suggest having too many of them and getting on the road, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and there's plenty of parking. I might add that there is absolutely no way you can leave this. Please call Marietta Diner without getting a piece of carrot cake or dessert of your choice when I tell you they are the size of a small castle, that's a little exaggerative but you get the message. I still love the food here - but MAN! I wish folks with jobs would learn that you get paid to leave your problems at home. I've said it before - but it bears repeating: I have worked as a hostess, a server, a housekeeper and a cashier at Walmart. And I have to say working at Walmart back in the 90's BEFORE online ordering - throughout the year was no picnic - but during Christmas. Jeesh. It took the patience of saint. But I say all that to say - I know how hard it is to work in the service industry and to work in jobs where your main purpose is to interact with the public. So I don't go around giving waitstaff or service industry folks a hard time. In fact, I TRY to be pleasant. Nice, but not overly chatty (they don't have time to sit around talking). I know my order when I call in and have collected everyone else's order when relevant. I use one method of payment. Lol. If I'm going someplace new, I peruse the menu IN ADVANCE so I don't waste the server's time with a lot of questions. And unless you served me a bunch of attitude - I tip anywhere from 20 - 100% (by that I mean, I have tipped $20 on a $20 meal). I love Pasta Bella but don't get to eat here a lot unless it's take-away because J refuses to eat here. J, who I didn't even realize had a political bone in his body before this, claims Gus (the owner) is an avid Trump supporter. First of all - I have no idea how J knows this. Secondly, I really don't care about the political affiliations of the owners of the restaurants I frequent. If I went around boycotting all the places Trump supporters own, I have a feeling I'd never be able to go anywhere. Today - here's what I ordered: Chicken A la Roma (white sauce, spinach, mushrooms and red peppers - omit the red peppers) and a chef salad - hold everything except lettuce, meat cheese and wedge tomatoes. Extra tomatoes. No rolls. Add utensils. This is pretty much ALWAYS my order. Unless I switch things up and go with the Chicken Fettuccini. I forget what the soup was. I haven't actually eaten my food yet. It's in the fridge. I'm sure it will be delicious. Here's what I got and did not order: A huge side of attitude from the snarky, hateful server at the bar. No idea what her name is but she's the young, emo girl with the insane dye job and all the dark eye makeup. The only thing louder than the dye job is her attitude. When I handed her my credit card, I began to check my order. I sat the bread aside and said, "Here you go. I told him I didn't want any bread." (I was referring to the gentleman who took my order - so I said HIM.) Then I said, "Can I also get some extra wedge tomatoes? Sorry. I asked for some on the phone." I realized that they might have put the tomatoes in the white paper bag with the soup, so then I said, "Hang on. Let me check to see if it's in this bag." I had my mask on, and it was a little loud in there - so I don't know whether she didn't hear me or what. But she snaps my credit slip and card down on the counter, furrows her eyebrows and snaps, "WHAT?!!!" I repeated myself. She then shouts, "I DIDN'T TAKE YOUR ORDER. MY MANAGER DID!" I said, "I know you didn't take my order," (Keep in mind, I used the pronoun 'him' - twice.) "I asked you because you're standing here. So can you help me or do you need me to go ask him?" I did not raise my voice. She then snaps at me, still acting like a nut, "I'm going to get you a side of wedge tomatoes." I walked off and approached the manager at the end of the bar. Explained the situation and asked him if he could get the extra wedge tomatoes. He apologized and went and got them. When stuff like this happens, I don't take it personally because I know people have bad days. Also, I know that MANY people have told me that even though when I'm not actually frowning or scowling - I tend to look angry. Yes - I'm afflicted with the condition so lovingly referred to a resting B face. So I go out of my way to say Hello to people and ask them how they're doing. And to say please and thank you. But I really wish servers would realize that just because you're having a bad day - there's someone out there who has it worse. There are people with no jobs or homes. People who are terminally ill. Heck there are people who work as hard - or harder than you. In fact - one of the reasons I order out so often is BECAUSE I work so much - 12 - 16 hour days, across multiple time zones - that it can be hard to carve out time to cook. In fact - now that Kroger's and Walmart close before midnight - I rarely have time to go to the grocery stores, so even when I have time to cook - there's nothing thawed or all the fresh produce has spoiled. :0( Pasta Bella - please keep serving up delicious food - but please make sure your servers understand the importance of treating customers with common courtesy. I stopped in for lunch today and was immensely pleased with my experience. The waitress was kind and the host walked around often to check on patrons to see how we were doing. That's always a nice touch. They are rather popular with locals. The menu is expansive and the chef specials are expansive as well. I tried the Red Snapper Exotica and it was stellar. I couldn't finish it all and took the remainder home for dinner later. The bread and the start soup are enough to make you full, with the generous pieces of Italian sausage therein. You have just got to dip the garlic bread in the soup to enjoy the sumptuous nature of the entire experience. I want to return in the future and try dessert, and I will in the future. This is a greater local spot with ample parking in their private lot. I would love to return for dinner with friends and/or my fiancee' so that they can try it as well. Awesome spot for Italian cuisine but prices are increasing. I use to come here all the time as kid but some of these prices on basic pasta dishes are pretty high. At least they serve a huge portion so you can split a dish and fill up two people. Also the sausage and garlic bread that come with the table are amazing. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Sat forever just watching other waiters do laps around our guy. Even when we finally got the food, it was like orange chicken from panda, and don't sit at your table waiting for the check because your waiter won't tell you, you have to go upfront to pay. Looks nice but holy moly I just wasted two and a half hours and $60. The calzone is worse than little italys and the chicken pasta bella is an orange chicken soup. In been almost 8 years that we've lived in the area, and we finally decided to try this place out. Why did it take us this long? I have no idea! We always go their sister restaurant called Casa Grande (Mexican). However, tonight we decided not to go to Casa Grande and come here instead. Did I want pasta tonight? Not really but what the heck! Lets try something "new", why not?? :) We weree surprised we got 4 garlic rolls with a side of sausage, green pepper, onion dipping sauce (or whatcha-machalit) for the rolls while we waited to order our meals. My husband ordered the House Stromboli which consisted of sausage, mushroom, onion, pepperoni and mozzarella baked in their fresh homemade dough served with a side of marinara. My husband loved it! But bare in mind, the portion is HUGE!!! Can't remember the name of my dish I ordered, but I think I ordered no.14, one of the "Chef's Special" called the Lasagna Rustica. It was rolled up lasagna with fives different cheeses topped with seafood, chicken, sausage in a lobster cream sauce of some sorts. Whatever the special was, it was good. I ate at Pasta Bella today for lunch with a coworker. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Seafood Supreme, which is separate from the Seafood Stephanie. It came with the Italian wedding soup. The food did take a little long for lunch, but the portions were huge. I will be eating on This for 2 days. I will be eating here again. Food was delicious! Our server was excellent! My 1 star review is due to broken trust. We called ahead to confirm they were following CDC guidelines for social distancing. They assured me they were so we decided to visit for dinner. Started off great. Everyone had one face mask. We were seated at a booth with a vacant one between other diners. However, halfway through our meal, when they became busy, they as seating customers in the vacant booths. The back of my both chair was to the back of the 2 people in the booth behind me. The booths are not high back. We would have ordered to go if they were honest from the beginning. I realize not everyone believes in social distancing but I do. Came very hungry from frisbee tryouts with two friends, and boy was this a good choice when you're hungry. The complementary garlic rolls and sauce were amazing for us while we contemplated our order. We had calamari to start with, which was very good. They provided plenty of lemon for squeezing, which is very important in my book! I ordered a calzone, which was tasty and enormous. My one friend had the mushroom salad, and the other had spaghetti and meatballs. The portions here are enormous. ENORMOUS. Which makes up for it being a tad pricey. Service was good, can't complain. We ordered and chose salads, house for my wife and caesar for me, and soon a waiter brought rolls and a bowl of sausage and peppers. This is one of my mother's favourite restaurants so whenever I come visit her from DC we always stop in. I normally go for the pasta but today I wanted to try some light fare. I was really pleasantly surprised with the salmon salad. The salmon was very well prepared and the salad was exceptional. This accompanied with the soup of the day was a nice lite bite for us. I'm a fan!!!! Pasta Bella does pasta right!!! My friend and I decided to dine here on a late lunch and I'm really happy we did. Everything was great ( well, I didn't care for the chicken soup, but they allowed me to swap it out for a Greek salad). Upon arrival we were seated right away, there was no wait. Steven came over and took our drink orders, we both order lemonade. The menu was a bit overwhelming, they have a huge selection, while looking over the lunch menu, I settled on the seafood pasta which contained all of my favorites, scallions, salmon and shrimp - super yummy ......the sauce was very light, It didn't over power the seafood. It came with a nice Greek salad. My friend ordered the stuffed shells and chicken parm, He allowed me the opportunity to try it and it was really good, the chicken was cooked to perfection. He order the chicken soup with his meal and they brought out complimentary garlic bread. The service was good, Steven was great!!!! He was so attentive and very nice.
