My husband and I have enjoyed several meals here. Their fried ravioli is a great appetizer, huge ravioli stuffed with LOTS of cheese, our waitress recommended these to us on our first visit and she was right - amazing. We have tried a few different pasta dishes, my favorite being the portobello stuffed ravioli and my husbands favorite is the scallops over angel hair pasta...we have never disliked anything we have tried. The wait staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I know some reviewers on here have had a negative experience but I would urge them to give it a second try, it is a fairly new restaurant and I'm sure there are some kinks to work out. But overall it's good food, fair price, and awesome atmosphere. read more

Pasta Grill is the Best date night in Conway. All the dishes are great. Bread is hot and fresh. If your in the mood for steak the Prime Rib is hard to pass up. Nice wine selection as well. Will be back soon. read more

My only complaint is that the simple food, like sandwiches and wraps, is horrible but the more "fancy" dishes, like the chef's gnocchi, the food is excellent. If you want a fine dining experience (such as it is) in Conway, go here and not to Mike's Place. The food and service here are much better. I prefer the atmosphere here as well-- although there's no separate bar area, there are drinks. They serve Blue Sail coffee too! Be forewarned: On weekend nights, there can be a wait for tables (and food) up to an hour long. There's always folks planted outside on the benches wating for tables on the weekend. Food is AMAZING!! Never had a bad thing to eat here. The portions are huge. It's always busy there and the staff is average. I just wish they had more drink options besides wine and beer (the margaritas suck). The food is homemade, always hot and fresh. I moved to Arkansas in 1982 and what was called Italian food in Central Arkansas was very disappointing. There are a few decent Italian restaurants in Central Arkansas now and Pasta Grill is up there with the best. Their sauce is good enough to eat by itself. Great food, good service. read more

Upon arriving, we were skeptical if they were open, but as we neared the entrance an employee opened the door and welcomed us in. We had arrived right around 6pm, and there was only one other table (a party of women enjoying wine and conversation). We were promptly seated and greeted by our server and drink orders taken. We ordered the fried (cheese) ravioli as a starter, and bread was brought out as well. The ravioli presentation was great, and the taste even better. Fried to perfection, not greasy or an overly cheesy mess. For an entree, I ordered the Cajun or Jambalaya Pasta (can't remember the name), and it was amazing! Penne pasta, a creamy cheese/alfredo sauce with a little spice, chicken, and andouille sausage. I opted to leave the mushrooms out. My partner ordered spaghetti and meat sauce and was pleased. Each meal comes with the choice of salad, but we opted out after such hearty appetizers. The space is small, but the way they've set it up really adds room without patrons being cramped. It's also beautifully and eloquently decorated. We didn't have any beer or wine on this trip, but will next time. I recommend anyone to at least try this out. Need to learn to manage their tables a little better. We had a reservation for six at 7:30 one night, were not sat until after 8:00. The mash that I ordered was pretty good, but my wife did not fare as well with spaghetti (a staple that cannot be messed up if your Italian restaurant is to survive). Likewise, our dining partners steaks were all over-cooked. Wine selection is decent, but they had far too many offerings by the bottle and too few by the glass, a mistake in Conway, I think. read more

Very pleasant experience with family. I had the Shrimp and Grits (not something I would normally expect to find at a pasta place), and it was delicious, well portioned, and beautifully presented (though perhaps just a touch on the salty side). Everyone else was very pleased with their meals as well. There were a couple of minor issues that prevent this from being a 5 star experience. Such a shame. Really high kudos on Yelp brought me here. Traveling through on business and didn't want a chain restaurant. Needless to say, their pasta needs a lot of work. Sent my first dish back (Cajun shrimp pasta) for undercooked noodles and watery sauce. Unacceptable for being called a "signature" dish. Decided to keep it simple and just get the shrimp Alfredo. Boy was I wrong, not really worth sending the second dish back so I got through it and ate the shrimp and tried to save it with the table cheese, epic fail. Maybe they have the people here fooled. Wife and I traveling from SC to Okla. found this GREAT restaurant. Had the Southern Most Pasta and Tortellini Carbonara. Absolute excellent! The sauce was superb. Have been here 3 times, so far the food has been good and have returned based on this. Service is decent, however, each time I've been here we've had reservations and not seated for 30-45 minute past reserved time. We dine here about 3-4 times a year. I've had several of the pasta dishes, all delicious. Hubby always has Southern Most Pasta, which he loves. We eat about half of our entree, and bring home the rest. That allows us to save room for dessert (and we're not usually dessert people) because they are all made from scratch in house, and they're phenominal! This review is based on the fact that I have a gluten and wheat allergy. Prior to being diagnosed with this allergy my review of Pasta Grill would have been five stars. It has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Conway. I decided to try Pasta Grill since I knew they had non-pasta dishes on the menu. My biggest complaint with any restaurant is it's inability to provide a welcoming and positive experience for those with allergies. When I go to a restaurant with a well notated menu or knowledgeable staff, it makes all the difference in the world. I 100% understand that there can be cross-contamination issues in any restaurant that is not dedicated gluten free. Pasta Grill's menu was certainly created by someone who does not understand gluten. The menu has one starred gluten free item plus one dessert, however, after extensive questioning (and many trips by the server back to the kitchen to find out the answers), I found that the non pasta dishes such as the filet, salads, and salad dressings are gluten free. I'm sure that there may be some other items as well but I focused on what I wanted to eat. Our server had no knowledge about gluten. I could write an entire different review about the quality of our server but overall it was an extremely disappointing experience. Training staff and notating menus is not difficult. Having these allergies is not by choice and all I wanted to do was have a pleasant meal with my family at a restaurant we all enjoy. read more

It's shocking how well they blend Italian, Cajun, and traditional southern elements to create a diverse, delicious, menu that is filled with great options. Great restaurant, great Italian food, but stay away from the steak. Cooked perfect, but no flavor, and seasoned with some cheap sprinkle on top steak seasoning which charred black on the grill. I gave this restaurant five stars because of the shrimp that was in my meal. I ordered the Southerner and was very happy. It is very hard to cook shrimp correctly and these were cooked perfectly. They were large lightly cooked, not overcooked. I do not think they had ever been frozen. The parmesan cream sauce was fresh and had a good flavor. There was small loaf of buttered bread came with the meal that was very good. There was just a hint of cayenne in my meal. The pasta was well-cooked, the wait staff was attentive. I recommend this restaurant if you are hungry for Italian food. I was totally satisfied. I also made two meals out of the one, it was a large meal. read more
